Latino voters shifted sharply toward President Trump in each of the last two presidential elections, a trend that shocked and confounded Democrats. Many in the party have been asking: Why did this happen, and what can we do about it? Those questions are even more urgent now for Democrats, with Latino voters set to play a key midterm role in deciding who wins control of Congress. They make up at least 20 percent of the population in a majority of the most competitive House districts. And Latinos also account for a significant slice of voters in two crucial Senate races...

Germany’s Social Democrats have fallen to a record low support as voters continue to abandon the establishment in favour of outsider parties like the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), which continues to maintain its lead in the polls. This week’s RTL/ntv political support barometer has found that the Social Democrats (SPD), the oldest survivng major political party in Germany, has had its poorest showing since the Forsa Institute began the survey, falling to just 11 per cent support among voters. This is down from 16.4 per cent at the last federal election in 2025. The establishment left-wing party, which remained in...

When Amazon CEO Andy Jassy announced that employees would be required to return to the office five days a week, he argued that in-person work would strengthen culture, collaboration, and innovation. Similar explanations have accompanied countless workplace decisions in recent years. Job cuts, pay freezes, and restructurings have routinely been packaged as opportunities for companies to become more agile, resilient, or future-ready. Whether these explanations are sincere or strategic, often bear only a passing resemblance to reality. The obvious question is: who even falls for statements that seem absurdly false or self-serving? According to new research out of Cornell University,...

Still-missing Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei authorized in-person meetings with the US to finalize the peace deal, according to a report. Khamenei gave his negotiation team the green light to head to Switzerland for the first round of negotiations with the US on Friday under the memorandum of understanding, according to a statement released by his office. Khamenei, who has yet to be seen in public since he was injured at the start of the war, instructed his team not to yield to any demands made by Washington that he deems excessive. The ayatollah, who ascended to the seat when...

President Donald Trump told Marc Caputo of Axios on Thursday that the U.S. had bombarded Iran into “unconditional surrender.” His remarks came a day after he signed a memo of understanding meant to end the current war. Pundits and politicians from across the political spectrum have panned the deal as being too lenient on Iran. Some of the loudest criticisms have come from the right. Fox News host Mark Levin called it “unthinkable,” while his Fox colleague Trey Gowdy said the deal will make Iran “richer.” Meanwhile, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Trump is getting “very poor advice.” The arrangement,...

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman warned Thursday that a continued IDF presence in southern Lebanon would mean the “annulment” of the memorandum of understanding it signed with the United States, as Israel doubled down on its plans to keep troops in the area amid its ongoing conflict with the Hezbollah terror group. Speaking to the Hezbollah-aligned Lebanese news outlet Al Akhbar, Esmaeil Baghaei said the continuation of Israel’s offensive would be a violation of the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran that was signed this week. The signed memorandum affirms a commitment to Lebanon’s territorial integrity in the face of...

They’re flipping off social media. Nostalgic ’80s tech firm Commodore is hoping to combat tech addiction by releasing a retro flip phone that banishes social media apps. Dubbed the Commodore Callback 8020, this vintage phone reboot is billed as a “retreat from Black Mirror technology” designed to “help you spend less time staring at a screen,” per the blog. This throwback perhaps marks a fitting release for a nostalgic company that kickstarted the personal computer revolution of the 1980s and released the Commodore 64 — the best-selling PC of all time. The Callback, which will be available later this year,...

In the lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted primarily in the United States along with Mexico and Canada, there was widespread criticism from many European fans. Concern that the Trump administration's immigration policies would somehow impact fans' ability to enter the country. Complaints that the host stadiums, places like Los Angeles Stadium, Boston Stadium or Seattle Stadium would somehow prove unworthy of hosting World Cup matches. Those concerns and complaints have proven to be wildly unfounded. The atmosphere in Los Angeles for the U.S. Men's National Team opening match win over Paraguay was widely praised. To the point...

According to recent studies, mandatory voter identification, as outlined in the SAVE Act, is extremely popular, with up to 84 percent of the American public in favor. A very small minority, mostly on the far-left, oppose voter I.D., but with that far-left side taking over the mainstream Democratic Party, including congressional Democrats and their mouthpieces in the liberal media, you’ll hear more unhinged rants against the SAVE Act, like the one from Wednesday’s episode of MS NOW’s The 11th Hour

Cellphone footage captured a seemingly random, violent and frightening attack inside a Simi Valley Target store Wednesday night, in which a 34-year-old man was arrested and several people were injured. According to police, a man later identified as Rejean Tabor immediately began choking a female customer standing at a checkout counter moments after he entered the store.

Luigi Mangione has apparently abruptly scrapped the psychiatric defense he planned to use at his upcoming trial in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. “The defense respectfully withdraws CPL 250.10 notice at this time,” the accused killer’s lawyers wrote to Judge Gregory Carro in Manhattan Supreme Court. The letter — which refers to the specific part of New York’s criminal code — could mean that Mangione no longer plans to claim he was overtaken by an “extreme emotional disturbance” when he gunned down Thompson on a Midtown sidewalk in December 2024. But one experienced Big Apple defense attorney said...

They just left him there. Former President Joe Biden was awkwardly left lingering by himself on stage at the grand opening of the Barack Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, tepidly waving at the crowd after the ceremony ended. A gleeful Obama had waltzed off the stage to the music, followed by a smiling former first lady Jill Biden, while the 46th president stood there seemingly dazed all by himself. For reasons that aren’t clear, the 83-year-old went over to the podium and took off his sunglasses before staring into the crowd with a puzzled look on his face. “Where’s my...

The issue is not what is working against you in the physical, but what power do you have of God working for you in the spiritual. In Luke 6:19 it says, And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all. Where was that power released, in the spiritual. The anointing is spiritual, so it works in the realm of the spiritual. Notice, the spiritual affects the physical. And the word of God is spiritual and the word of God is the power of God (Romans 1:16). And from Genesis all...

Seattle cleaned itself up to host the World Cup the way a child cleans his room before his parents come upstairs: by shoving the dirty laundry under the bed and stuffing everything else into the closet. Socialist Mayor Katie Wilson herded thousands of drug addicts away from the SoDo neighborhood’s Lumen Field football stadium and nearby Downtown’s hotels, then bragged that “Seattle is ready” for the massive influx of international visitors. But walk just a few blocks, and the truth crowds the sidewalk — hunched over and smoking fentanyl. This week I joined Jonathan Choe, senior fellow at the Discovery...

Has anyone encountered problems with he latest Firefox update? It started crashing virtually every time I select a Web site to visit. I've switched several favorites to Brave, and they work fine. It's just weird, because Firefox has been so solid for so long. I have a LOT of stuff I use the program for. Does anyone have experience rolling back to an earlier version?
