Karell Reader’s heart sank when she saw acres of apple trees piled up on her neighbor’s Watsonville farm last month. Her neighbor used to sell apples to California cider empire S. Martinelli & Company, but he was forced to bulldoze dozens of apple trees after the company canceled his contracts. For farmers in Pajaro Valley, a fertile region between Monterey and Santa Cruz, growing and selling Newtown pippin apples to Martinelli’s had been a lifeline for over a century. But now, apple farmers like Reader’s neighbor are scrambling to find solutions after the 158-year-old company blindsided them by canceling their...

On June 4, 2004, Marvin Heemeyer used a homemade armored bulldozer to destroy 13 buildings in Granby, Colorado, during a 90-minute rampage that caused $7 million in damage. Heemeyer’s modified Komatsu bulldozer—later dubbed the “Killdozer”—came loaded with steel armor plating, cameras, and gun ports, making it almost impossible to stop. It all started with what seemed like a regular business dispute over zoning and sewer connections. Heemeyer, who ran a muffler shop, felt local government decisions had boxed him in. Over a year and a half, he quietly turned his bulldozer into an armored juggernaut and mapped out his attack...

The open betrayal of Western Civilization and British tradition by Muslim Labour Backbenchers and Green Party representatives. The edifice of Western civilization, forged in the crucible of Judeo-Christian values—individual dignity under a transcendent moral law, ordered liberty, the sanctity of the vulnerable, and a commitment to truth over tribal expediency—is imperiled not by external conquest alone, but equally by internal subversion. In a world ravaged by unrest, Britain used to be a model of institutional stability, political pragmatism, and academic excellence. Now, however, it is being torn apart by ideologically inflamed barbarians. Thus, in contemporary Britain, a betrayal on a...

(KGO) -- An 18-year-old was killed and three others, including an 11-year-old child, were injured when gunfire erupted at the Fairfield High School parking lot following a graduation ceremony Wednesday evening, police said. Police have not confirmed whether the victim was a student. Emergency responders transported the...

Experts from Spain, Italy, and France warned on Wednesday that migration routes into the European Union are evolving faster than Brussels’ capacity to respond. During a conference held at the European Parliament, analysts specializing in migration and security argued that the phenomenon can no longer be viewed solely through a humanitarian lens nor as a problem confined to border countries. Growing pressure on the EU’s external borders, secondary movements within European space, and the deteriorating security situation in neighboring regions are turning migration into one of the European Union’s main strategic challenges. One of the most repeated messages throughout the...

The Los Angeles mayoral count did not stop on Election Day, and the late ballot story is now moving straight into election-integrity territory. The reason is simple: the late and overnight mail-in updates being tracked online are cutting into Spencer Pratt’s lead. Conservative accounts on X spent the last 24 hours pointing at the same pattern. Nithya Raman is gaining on Pratt in the late count, and people want an explanation. Here is the cleanest numeric snapshot of what they are reacting to. The viral screenshot circulating in those posts showed Karen Ruth Bass at 172,720 votes, Pratt at 151,149,...

So I bear it all for the sake of those who are chosen,...

This video from Black Conservative Perspective discusses the reaction to the jury selection in the high-profile murder trial of Karmelo Anthony, who is charged with the 2025 stabbing death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a Frisco ISD track meet (0:44, 9:43). Key points from the video include: Jury Composition: The creator highlights that there are no Black jurors selected for the trial, a development that has caused significant backlash and "panic" among Black liberal commentators (1:31, 8:41, 11:51). Prosecution's Stance: During jury selection, the prosecution struck three Black women who were educators, arguing it was due to their profession—not their...

America’s two-hundred-fiftieth birthday is an apt time to separate those who disdain this country from those who thank God for having been born here. I notice that the major “faces” representing the corporate news machine have decided to use this magnificent anniversary as a time for “reflection” about all the different ways the country and its people have somehow let those “faces” down. Instead of considering what an amazing melting pot of people have contributed to America’s greatness, the “faces” lecture us about enduring racism that is supposedly identical to the slavery that existed before the Civil War. Instead of...

Just when President Trump removed one thumb from the eye of Senate Republicans — scrapping his $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization fund" — he put another right back in with his choice of Bill Pulte as director of national intelligence. Why it matters: This time, the stakes are even higher: Democrats are threatening to let the government's spy powers lapse next week unless Trump yanks the appointment. State of play: Democratic outrage over Trump's latest moves usually doesn't amount to much. But Republicans need at least eight Democratic votes in the Senate to prevent the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Section 702 from...

The results of the Los Angeles mayoral primary are disappointing to the rest of America but unsurprising. It appears the voters of that great American city are satisfied with surpassing malgovernance as long as the mayor has a (D) behind his or her name. Karen Bass apparently won a plurality of the votes counted so far. Of course, this is a Blue City, so votes will continue to be counted until the correct result is achieved. Distress comes from realizing that if all the votes for the even more extreme progressive Nithya Raman were added to Bass’s then a majority...

Hundreds of police in the force whose officers handcuffed Henry Nowak as he lay dying felt 'controlled and pressured to be certain ways' during mandatory diversity training. More than 6,000 Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary officers and staff were taught about racism, unconscious bias and the 'importance of being an ally'. A survey following the course revealed one in seven participants (16 per cent) had felt 'controlled and pressured' to adopt certain ideas during the teaching. A similar proportion of 14 per cent thought 'mistakes would have been held against me', while one in five (20 per cent) feared...

Islamist’s attack on synagogue. The chairman of a policing scrutiny panel was sacked after she complained that officers were avoiding the “elephant in the room” of Islamist extremism in a meeting about an anti-Semitic terrorist attack. After last October’s attack on a synagogue in Manchester, the woman accused West Yorkshire Police of trying to appease Muslims rather than focusing on the Jewish community. She was told she was being removed as chairman of the Bradford Hate Crime Scrutiny Panel because of her “divisive and inflammatory” comments, which had prompted complaints from Muslim police officers taking part in the meeting. It...

Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, was caught on video calling Homeland Security Sec. Markwayne Mullin a “racist” during a House committee meeting Wednesday focused on department funding. Following the initial outburst, Green proceeded to tell Mullin to “shut up.” The Homeland Security secretary could be seen cocking his head in apparent surprise, as Green continued the verbal attack, repeating “shut up.” “Did you just tell me to shut up,” Mullin asked. As the sound of the gavel rang out, Green shouted back, “It’s my time.” “I’m not going to let anybody call me a racist chairman,” Mullen calmly told Rep. Andrew...

Multiple Knicks fans were arrested Wednesday night while celebrating their hometown team’s thrilling NBA Finals Game 1 victory at Madison Square Garden’s first outdoor watch party permitted by the city in weeks. The celebratory sea of Knicks fanatics packed the streets surrounding the Garden, where they cheered the team’s 105-95 win against the San Antonio Spurs as hundreds of cops looked on — and a waving Mayor Zohran Mamdani was driven by in a black SUV, according to social media clips. The outdoor event had been scrapped for weeks after the city pulled permits over concerns of unruly fan antics....

A senior police officer has praised the “impressive” efforts of an elderly man who shot an alleged intruder after he and his wife were stabbed at their rural NSW home. Police allege the 75-year-old man and 72-year-old woman, identified as Keith and Dianne Blessing, were attacked by a knife-wielding man in their home at Torrington, a small village in northern NSW, just after midnight on Thursday. Ms Blessing “collapsed with a chest wound” while her husband was slashed across his abdomen, police say. Mr Blessing called triple-0 as their alleged attacker retreated onto the home’s veranda. The alleged attacker can...

On Wednesday’s CNN This Morning, Democratic strategist Antjuan "Sour Grapes" Seawright lashed out at the growing success of political newcomers like Spencer Pratt in the Los Angeles mayoral primary, dismissing the trend as part of a “reality TV, or trash TV” model in the Republican Party. “I also think there’s a new model in the Republican Party, reality TV, or trash TV, and you don’t have to have experience and you audition for the job.” Great point, Antjuan! Unlike Karen Bass, whose "experience" includes letting the Palisades burn, while needles and human waste pile up on LA’s streets. Get the...
