Hundreds of police in the force whose officers handcuffed Henry Nowak as he lay dying felt 'controlled and pressured to be certain ways' during mandatory diversity training.
More than 6,000 Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary officers and staff were taught about racism, unconscious bias and the 'importance of being an ally'.
A survey following the course revealed one in seven participants (16 per cent) had felt 'controlled and pressured' to adopt certain ideas during the teaching.
A similar proportion of 14 per cent thought 'mistakes would have been held against me', while one in five (20 per cent) feared being 'rejected for saying the wrong thing'.
The results were in a report by the University of Reading which the force asked to survey officers and staff following the compulsory 'Inclusion Matters' course.
Others were more positive - with 84 per cent disagreeing that they felt 'controlled and pressured'; and 86 per cent disagreeing 'mistakes would have been held against me'.
The study was revealed as the police watchdog faced pressure to investigate the officers who handcuffed the stabbed student in Southampton as he was dying.
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp led calls for the officers who arrested the 18-year-old on bogus racism claims last December to face a full misconduct probe.
Footage of the dying student gasping 'I've been stabbed' as he was pinned down by police who scoffed 'don't think you have, mate', has prompted outrage.

The officers in question were unquestionably accessories to the murder of Henry Norwalk.
At the very least, the officers are guilty of manslaughter.
Hmmm…. they felt “constrained” but then obediently FOLLOWED ORDERS!
Britain is so gone.
The enforcers for all of the genocidal tyrants did the same thing. People later say: How could they have stood by and let this happen. This is how.
In other words they have been conditioned to support the invasion of their country.
Things in a relatively free country don’t get that messed up without one of two things happening:
1 - The majority of the public supports it, or...
2 - The public just doesn’t pay attention.
No, Progressivism supports total freedom including the right of some to kill others at will.
The same action is permitted widely in the USA in States and City States where Africanism has replaced Americanism. Africans are paid with government benefits to commit crimes against whites
So Sad, the poor little Police Thugs felt “controlled and pressured” during diversity training.
The level of genuine accountability for their bad actions demonstrated by these Police Thugs is Abysmal/Appalling to say the least. Agree UK is lost.
In South Africa this has reached the ultimate end game: The Genocide of White people. Of course this is so counter to the enforced narratives of the Left they deny it is even happening there.

So the other 84 percent thought that the training was just fine. Spot on. Jolly good show.
This kinda gives lie to the belief that most British cops are decent and moral.
But, hey. I could be wrong here. If so, I hope a Brit Freeper will offer another explanation for that 84 percent approval.
Their smarmy answer makes it worse than those who said “We were just following orders”.
FTA-—More than 6,000 Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary officers and
staff were brainwashed by compulsory ‘Inclusion Matters’ indoctrination training.
A. Police officers and staff have been massively brainwashed:
<><>indoctrinated about not being racist,
<><>bullied wrt harboring “unconscious” bias against non-white killers (like Digwa)
<><>duped into monumental crime-creating stupidities
<><>trained not to be law-enforcers
<><>but deluded into being an “ally” of law-breakers.
I'm not a Brit, but it is possible that others were hesitant to say anything critical about the "training", for fear of losing their job.
That is no excuse, but it is possible that more than 16% felt controlled and pressured. I wonder what percentage of the UK police force is now muslim.
Don’t blame this on “Africanism.” African immigrants to America are often sharply critical of the leaders of the Black “civil-rights” movement and the culture of Black America. I’ve had Africans ask me things which sound TERRIBLY racist, except the issue isn’t race, such as “why are American Black women so lazy and stupid?” (I can’t support such an over-generalization, but it certainly applied to the people she was talking about.)
Police officers at the bloody Nowak crime scene
were “conditioned” into making limited comments.
They made only those comments that demonstrated
their “impartiality” toward Nowak’s non-white killer.
Bingo. Police are not your friends.
You can take the man out of Africa, but you can’t take the Africa out of the man
> it is possible that others were hesitant to say anything critical about the “training”, for fear of losing their job <
Good point, Sicon. Was the survey anonymous? Unless I missed something, the article didn’t say.
Maybe it’s time for people to stand up for their real beliefs instead of going along to get along. People need to start being brave and facing what is really happening around them before its too late and they are either in prison for who they are (skin color or thought crimes) or dead because they looked at someone wrong. It is happening in places I never thought it could like England.
Possibility also that they believe “following orders” will gain them favor and insulate them from any form of adverse consequences.
