The joy that the new Trump administration has given to me has not yet abated. Last week, Tulsi Gabbard testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee in which a slack-jawed, dumb-founded Sen. Angus King of Maine noted that the 2025 annual threat assessment by the U.S. intelligence community made no mention of climate change. Tulsi responded by saying, “I can’t speak to the decisions made previously, but this annual threat assessment has been focused very directly on the threats that we deem most critical to the United States and our national security.” In short, the intelligence service is now focusing on...

The war on Elon Musk and Tesla is driven by far more than politics. One thing is for sure: Tesla owners never saw this one coming. After all, Tesla fans are generally predisposed to embrace climate change and much of the Green New Deal -- positions with large support among people on the Left side of the political spectrum. For many, owning a Tesla is a statement of virtue signaling that you are doing your part to save the world and save the environment. Owners of Teslas are more likely to vote Democrat than Republican. So why would Tesla dealerships...

The climate crisis affects everyone, but women disproportionately bear its impact. A special conference was held on Tuesday in honor of International Women’s Month, examining the climate crisis from a gender perspective. The climate crisis particularly affects women in developing countries, according to research. They are primarily responsible for caring for their family, which is becoming more difficult with the increasing frequency of droughts, floods, and other natural disasters. However, women are not only victims of this issue. They also play an important role in addressing climate change, as research has shown that countries with higher female representation in decision-making...

A new peer-reviewed study links the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines to long-term changes in genetic structures that can provoke an inflammatory response, and lead to the onset of cancer and autoimmune disorders. The study by 19 German scientists was published last week in Molecular Systems Biology. The researchers said their findings may account for “post vaccination inflammatory diseases which occur in a small number of vaccinated individuals.”

Resist the globalist push for WWIII. War is an “unpleasant business.” That two-word euphemism reflects the divergent experiences of two separate groups: those who profit from violence and those who experience violence firsthand. For anyone in the latter group, war is hell. That’s how Civil War general William Tecumseh Sherman described it, and he was an expert in the subject. He set everything ablaze on his marches through the South. Scorched-earth conquests are meant to break the spirit of opposing soldiers and civilians alike, and Sherman broke everything in his sight. SNIP While European politicians inch closer to waging war...

Nothing stirs us to outrage more quickly than the combination of theatrical self-righteousness and brazen dishonesty from a cold-blooded liar. Of course, nothing of consequence ever seems to happen to such people. In Washington, D.C., they receive promotions. Tuesday on the Senate floor, Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff of California had the 14-karat chutzpah to speak of “truth” and “decency” after years spent peddling known lies about President Donald Trump having colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election. “Truth should matter to us,” Schiff said in a clip posted to the social media platform X. God showed infinite mercy...

Donald Trump's politics have shifted considerably over his decades in the public sphere. But one thing he has been consistent on, since the 1980s, is his belief that tariffs are an effective means of boosting the US economy. Now, he's staking his presidency on his being right. At his Rose Garden event at the White House, surrounded by friends, conservative politicians and cabinet secretaries, Trump announced sweeping new tariffs on a broad range of countries – allies, competitors and adversaries alike. In a speech that was equal parts celebration and self-congratulation, regularly punctuated by applause from the crowd, the president...

Thousands of federal workers are newly reeligible for a Trump administration offer paying them to quit as agencies prepare to shed up to half of their staffs, documents reviewed by The Washington Post show. The deal, extended across at least six agencies in recent days, resurrects an option to resign now and be paid through September. Trump officials said the offer represented a life raft for workers who found themselves in positions the administration deemed nonessential in its quest to cut spending and tame a mounting national deficit. “We could have just fired people and not given them an off-ramp,”...
