Not many countries getting tariffed at 17%. Of those, I think only one tariffs us at 33%

A coworker made a comment about Ford Motor Company’s stock being up this week. I paused, looked at him and said that it’s probably - at least in part - due to Mexico capitulating on tariffs, especially with FMC having several manufacturing plants south of the border.

Notable is Mexico’s absence from the tariff list I saw last night and this list.

I guess “discounted reciprocal tariff” means it isn’t always a complete reciprocal tariff.
