“U.S. shoppers will be able to save on Ford vehicles this spring through a new initiative called From America, For America.
American consumers will have access to Ford’s employee pricing from April 3 through June 2.
This means customers will pay the same amount as Ford’s workers, which is below the dealer invoice price, a spokesperson for the automobile manufacturer told Fox News Digital in an email.”
But, but, but, tariffs will increase prices for everything.

I avoid UAW products where possible.
Tempting...but its still a Ford...
Ford makes good trucks that last a long time. Fortunately they don’t make cars except the Mustang. The cars were awful for the most part.
Wasn’t Ford the only automaker to refuse government “assistance” when GM became “Government Motors”???
YES!!
Obama ticked GM & Chrysler with offers of $$$.
Ford was there, but backed away from the tale.
One of the first actions of Obama was to fire the President of GM. In Detroit, Since then Gm is call Government Motors!
I believe in buying American.
I love my 2017 ruby red Ford Mustang convertible.
BTW,
“A few decades ago, the United States was one of the world’s leading TV manufacturers. From the 1950s, several famous TV manufacturers, such as RCA, Zenith, GE (General Electric), Quasar, Philco, Magnavox, Sharp, and Westinghouse, were once based in the USA.
However, many TV manufacturers have ceased operations in the United States. One reason is that some manufacturers moved their operations overseas to countries like China, where labor and components used in TVs are cheaper.
Other companies, such as Philips, Sharp, and Westinghouse, license their brand names to overseas manufacturers in countries like China, Taiwan, and Japan, which could produce cheaper and more competitive models.
Some TV manufacturing companies, like Zenith, were acquired by other overseas manufacturers, while others, like General Electric and Pioneer, shifted their focus to other industries after facing immense competition from overseas brands.”

2025 Liberal Party of Canada leadership election
(Bloomberg) — President Donald Trump said he spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and that the two would meet after Canada’s election, amid an intensifying tariff war between the neighboring allies and major trading partners.
“It was an extremely productive call, we agree on many things, and will be meeting immediately after Canada’s upcoming Election to work on elements of Politics, Business, and all other factors, that will end up being great for both the United States of America and Canada,” Trump said in a post to his social-media platform on Friday.
Carney released a statement saying the two men agreed to start “comprehensive negotiations about a new economic and security relationship” after Canada’s April 28 national election. But the Canadian leader also reiterated that his government plans to put retaliatory tariffs in place after the US administration unveils its new import taxes on April 2, which Trump has billed “Liberation Day.”

Ford products are about 60%-70% foreign parts. Honda, Tesla and Toyota models are among the most “American Made” vehicles:

including the original Mustangs: cool-looking cars with a little pep, but utter mechanical trash underneath the body metal ...
i should know: I owned a 1970 Mach I when i was a kid ... it would never start when it rained or was humid because of condensation under the distributor, the brakes were truly awful at stopping the car, the clutch linkage had to be replaced periodically as parts bent and the adjustment rod ran out of adjustment, and not all of the hydraulic valve lifters could be replaced without removing the engine, so one of them was always squeaky ...
eventually i sold it, but between the time i sold it and the buyer picked it up, the transmission failed and it would only go in reverse and i had to knock down the price of a transmission to complete the sale ...
i vowed to never again buy an American car, and have kept my vow ever since: once bit, twice shy ...
BUT, the media said it would add thousands to car prices...
Yesterday there was video of a Ford F 150 transmission disassembled into all of it’s parts. they were on several table tops seemingly 25 or 30 feet in lengh. All these hundreds of various parts were actually made on lots of different countries.
