Chairman Cole and Chairman Joyce: Since President Trump's inauguration, we have seen a dangerous trend of district court judges issuing nationwide injunctions that disrupt the implementation of federal policies.' These sweeping rulings, often handed down by a single judge, threaten the constitutional balance of power by overriding the popular will of the American people as embodied in Congress and the President.? The Committee on the Judiciary has developed legislative reforms within our jurisdiction to address this misuse of judicial authority and to restore balance between the branches of the federal government. The Committee on Appropriations is likewise charged with an...

In yet another troubling scandal, liberal judge James Boasberg, known for temporarily blocking President Trump’s deportations of violent Venezuelan gang members, faces fresh criticism after revelations linking his daughter to a far-left nonprofit that actively opposes stricter immigration enforcement and pockets millions of taxpayer dollars. Partners in Justice, the group for which Katherine Baosberg works, is a pro-illegal immigration NGO that receives over half of its funding from USAID and other government grants; it reportedly provides legal advice and representation to criminal illegal aliens; the judge’s woke daughter, Katharine Boasberg, is employed by Partners in Justice, a progressive nonprofit that...

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin is canceling a year-old museum dedicated to the EPA’s history — citing its $315-per-visitor cost to operate. The museum is located on the ground floor of the environmental agency, but recorded very little foot traffic, despite its prime location just a block north of the Smithsonian’s Natural History and American History museums on the National Mall. “The scarcely visited museum cost a whopping $4 million taxpayer dollars to build in accordance with Smithsonian standards and more than $600,000 annually to operate,” an EPA official said. “It had less than 2,000 external visitors between May...

IRAN'S twisted generals have demanded an "immediate" strike on a US military base in response to Donald Trump's continued threats to bomb the region. The US president's B-2 stealth bomber strike force has already starting massing on the island of Diego Garcia with his team now aimed directly at Iran. Trump warned Iran on Sunday that there would be “bombing the likes of which they have never seen before” if Iran continues to rejects his nuclear weapons proposal. The president set a deadline to the Ayatollah to come to the table to discuss the complete disarmament of all nuclear weapons....

Cooper Jo Fredrick, 24, was arrested in Plano, Texas, on suspicion of attacking a Tesla dealership on March 7 in Loveland, Colo., Bondi said. Frederick, a resident of Fort Collins, Colo., allegedly ignited an incendiary device and hurled it at the dealership, narrowly missing several parked vehicles. Frederick was arrested a week after the attack. Federal prosecutors are seeking 20 years in prison, Bondi said. In addition to the federal charges against him, Frederick is also facing local charges, including second-degree arson and possession of explosives or incendiary devices.

Just before Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) started their ongoing series of rallies against Elon Musk and President Donald Trump, Sanders stopped by Face the Nation on CBS and hilariously exclaimed in feigned outrage: “We’re looking at a rapid growth of oligarchy. We’re looking at a rapid growth of authoritarianism. And I fear that we’re looking at a rapid growth of kleptocracy as well. And I’m going to do everything I can to work with my supporters all over this country to stand up and fight back to make sure we have an economy that works...

These Kennedy assassination posts have generated large numbers of comments. Most of the commenters, and certainly the prolific ones, have studied up on the issue and have formed firm opinions of their view of the facts. But then there is a large gulf of disagreement between those who have accepted the “Oswald acted alone” theory and those who have rejected it. The smallest camp is those who admit they don’t know the answer. That’s my camp. Many people understandably do not feel comfortable with ambiguity in situations like this. Back in Part II of this series, I expressed the view...

Russia has warned that strikes against Iran's nuclear infrastructure would have "catastrophic" consequences, after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to bomb Iran unless it came to an agreement with Washington over its nuclear program. "Threats are indeed being heard, ultimatums are also being heard," Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told the Russian journal "International Affairs" in an interview, extracts of which were published on Tuesday. "We consider such methods inappropriate, we condemn them, we consider them a way for (the U.S.) to impose its own will on the Iranian side."

The French have been here before. In 1804, First Consul Napoléon Bonaparte, the Emmanuel Macron of his day (a short guy married to an older woman), ordered the seizure of a perceived political threat to his regime, the Duc d'Enghien. When Joseph Fouché, Minister of Police, learned that M le Duc had been executed in a moat, he observed, "C'est pire qu'un crime, c'est un faute" - it's worse than a crime, it's a mistake. (The remark is often attributed to Talleyrand, but I incline to Fouché.) Yet the cynical police chief was wrong: two months later the First Consul...

At a town hall question and answer with Elon Musk in Green Bay, Wis. on March 30 on behalf of Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel, the White House Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) revealed that since 2021, 5.5 million non-citizens have been given Social Security numbers. Of those, DOGE has already identified 1.3 million who are collecting Medicaid, a $567 billion a year program to about 79.3 million people at about $7,100 per person collecting, an apparent waste of about $8 billion a year. According to DOGE’s Antonio Gracias, “We’ve gone through on every benefit program… We found groups...

An Arizona congressman introduced legislation Monday to remove the federal judge who has blocked President Donald Trump's efforts to deport Venezuelan gang members, offering a novel path that avoids the impeachment process and the need for two-thirds support in the U.S. Senate. Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., filed a resolution that would remove U.S. District Judge James Boasberg for “failing to maintain the standard of good behavior required of judges" under Article III, Section 1 of the Constitution. “Most Americans believe that there is lifetime tenure for a federal judge. That unless impeached, a federal judge can serve until death," Biggs...

The Battle of Okinawa, code named Operation Iceberg, was World War II's largest and bloodiest battle in the Pacific Theater. The landings on the Japanese island by joint U.S. and Allied forces took place 80 years ago, April 1, 1945, lasting until June 22, 1945. It was the last major battle of the war. Army Lt. Gen. Simon Bolivar Buckner Jr., who commanded the Tenth Army, led the invasion. The Tenth Army was a composite unit comprising the Army's 7th, 27th, 77th and 96th infantry divisions, the 1st, 2nd and 6th Marine divisions, as well as a joint Army/Marine Corps...

Kilmer Armado Abrego-Garcia who has a U.S. citizen wife and 5-year-old child is currently at CECOT, the notorious prison in El Salvador. The filing is part of a new lawsuit filed by Abrego-Garcia's attorneys who are requesting that the government of El Salvador return him to the U.S. after being sent there "because of an administrative error." In response, the government has acknowledged the error...

President Trump and DOJ officials are justifiably happy with themselves for flying the 261 TDA hoodlums out of the US and down to El Salvador and that super max prison there. But they cannot hope to deport the giant numbers of people they want to get rid of with airplanes. Our biggest airplanes only carry three or four hundred people. Likewise President Trump has expressed a desire to sign major peace treaties with Russia and China and then reduce our military budget by half. One problem: at that point, what to do with our Nimitz and Ford class nuclear powered...
