The Biden administration’s monthslong effort to avert a full-blown war between Israel and Iran is now being put to the most difficult test yet after Tehran on Tuesday launched a barrage of ballistic missiles at Israel. The administration has worked around the clock for the past year trying to avoid a direct clash between its ally Israel and Iran. But now, administration officials are facing a potential worst-case scenario, as the latest attack by Iran will inevitably trigger a retaliation by the Israeli military. Such a chain reaction could possibly pull in the United States, as it helps to defend...

CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour has sparked outrage as she insisted that Iran does not want conflict at the exact moment the nation was raining missiles on Israel. The British-Iranian journalist claimed live on air that the Islamic Republic does not want its conflict with Israel to 'escalate,' and suggested the Jewish state is to blame for Tuesday's attack. 'Nobody, nobody, not the Lebanese nor the Iranians want this to escalate even further. Iran does not want an Israeli or a U.S. war against it. Sean “Diddy” Combs was accused of sexually assaulting 25 minors — including a 9-year-old — during a shocking press conference. Texas-based attorney Tuny Buzbee announced Tuesday that he is representing 120 individuals in civil lawsuits for allegations spanning the last three decades. “I want to focus on the ages of these victims. When we talk about the ages of these victims when the conduct occurred, it’s shocking,” Buzbee warned. "We know how things work with this administration," said North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. "While we're certainly grateful for the president's willingness to provide us with the assistance we...

For years, Americans have watched as our country has been stripped of our jobs and stripped of our wealth. We've watched our companies get sold off to foreign countries. But with my plan for the American economy, this will stop immediately. When I am president, we will begin to take other countries' jobs and factories, bringing businesses and trillions of dollars back to the United States. Under my plan, American workers will no longer be worried about losing their jobs to foreign nations. Instead, foreign nations will be worried about losing their jobs to Americans. German car companies can become...

The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB)’s chairwoman, Jennifer Homendy, said that 271 impacted parts could be installed on aircraft in service operated by at least 40 foreign air carriers. Sixteen of the impacted parts may still be installed on U.S.-registered aircraft and up to 75 such parts may have been used in aftermarket installation, she wrote in a Sept. 30 letter to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Explanation: How far can black hole jets extend? A new record was found just recently with the discovery of a 23-million light-year long jet pair from a black hole active billions of years ago. Dubbed Porphyrion for a mythological Greek giant, the impressive jets were created by a type of black hole that does not usually create long jets -- one that is busy creating radiation from infalling gas. The featured animated video depicts what it might look like to circle around this powerful black hole system. Porphyrion is shown as a fast stream of energetic particles, and the bright...

Theologian participating in Synod on Synodality heralds heterodox viewsSpanish theologian Cristina Inogés, appointed by Pope Francis to participate in the Synod on Synodality, argues in a recently released document that “Christianity should never have become a religion.”In a September article titled “Del Sínodo al jubileo: construyendo comunidad en diálogo” (“From the Synod to the Jubilee: Building Community in Dialogue”), Inogés argues that Jesus sought to hand on a way of life and human relationships based on fraternity, not to found an institutionalized religion with hierarchies and “to separate a small part from the rest, the priests — the clergy —...

Vice president and Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris has set an impressive bar for word salad. But in one recent, exceptional statement, she was crystal-clear in her ignorance: Vice President Kamala Harris declared on a debate stage in Philadelphia that “as of today, there is not one member of the United States military who is in active duty in a combat zone in any war zone around the world, the first time this century.” In addition to ignoring U.S. troops offshore serving in combat situations, she and her MSM cheering squad have overlooked the most direct threat from a nation-state...

Eight migrants were picked up by the cops and charged with burglary and aggravated burglary inside an inhabited residence. Americans are pulling together to help the victims of the Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, Georgia, and Florida, moving swiftly ahead of the Harris-Biden administration's slow, pokey, bureaucratic response, with food, water, Starlink, generators, transport, GoFundMe campaigns and other ways to help amid the devastation of the storm. President Trump is among them. It's just like what Mr. Roger used to say amid disasters: "Look for the helpers." But then there are those who'd rather take...

Volker Türk, the UN high commissioner for human rights, called Israel's use of exploding cell phones and pagers to attack Hezbollah terrorists "a war crime. This unprecedented method of warfare violates both the expectation of privacy and safety one expects from modern electronic devices. Thousands of jihadis ultimately were injured, castrated, maimed, or killed in coordinated explosions. It also unreasonably endangered nearby civilians who were innocent of any aggression against Israel." Turk went on to deny that Israel's attack was justified by Hezbollah's repeated launches of missiles into the homes and businesses of Israelis, saying "Israel is unlawfully occupying lands...
