The group’s Swifties for Kamala says it raised over $140,000 for her campaign and its virtual rally this week. There was no Taylor Swift there. Trump, though, is claiming the pop star supports...

Here is what NPR made of the Harris-Walz interview on CNN last night (hat tip Taegan Goddard): “From a strictly performance standpoint, Harris was clear, calm and didn’t get rattled when pushed about changes to her positions on certain issues.” “In some past interviews, she came across as defensive, but that wasn’t the case here. She seemed comfortable and in command, which is important for a presidential candidate who people are still getting to know.” “She also continued to show a degree of relatability. For example, she talked about making pancakes and cooking bacon for her nieces when President Biden...

Bush in 2004, saying that the incident was ultimately what inspired him to get involved in politics, according to the Examiner. However, Walz himself was not refused entry, according to a source who spoke anonymously with the...

This is a garbage research paper by a UK-based company using California institutes to come to the conclusion that MAGA adherents are the primary threat for political violence. You read that right. Read the paper and come to your own conclusion; but the design of the study funnels respondents to groups that would presumably have MAGA followers. Goebbels would be so proud. If you ever wanted to know why our governmental institutions are targeting conservatives, it is BS like this that passes itself off as peer-reviewed research; then goes into PubMed and elsewhere. What's the big deal, it's just a...

Shawn Theirry, a Texas state representative, has announced her departure from the Democratic Party to become a Republican. She did so on stage at the Moms for Liberty event in DC on Friday. After being stranded on the International Space Station since June, two astronaut castaways may still be months away from returning to Earth—in part because of incompatible space suits. The two astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, have had to extend what was supposed to be an eight-day trip on the ISS, because of a helium leak and thruster malfunctions on their Boeing-made Starliner spacecraft. NASA and Boeing are testing to see if it’s safe for the astronauts to return on the Boeing Starliner, but are also considering alternatives given the possible risks. NASA has yet to make a decision, but...
