Here is what NPR made of the Harris-Walz interview on CNN last night (hat tip Taegan Goddard):
“From a strictly performance standpoint, Harris was clear, calm and didn’t get rattled when pushed about changes to her positions on certain issues.”
“In some past interviews, she came across as defensive, but that wasn’t the case here. She seemed comfortable and in command, which is important for a presidential candidate who people are still getting to know.”
“She also continued to show a degree of relatability. For example, she talked about making pancakes and cooking bacon for her nieces when President Biden called to inform her of his decision to drop out of the race.”
Because Dana "Why The Long Face?" Bash is a DNC newswhore who gaslights for the Democrat Party.
You beat me to it. Good job. This clown called himself “Anonymous” in writing that lickspittle worship piece on behalf of the Clintons that led to that ghastly movie.
Am I asking too much? My fellow journalists seem inclined to give Harris and Walz and Dana Bash a pass. (See NPR, above.) But, to me, the purpose of an interview is to learn something. I learned nothing new, except that Kamala Harris knows how to make pancakes.
NPR/PBS is going balls to walls for Harris. I think they realize that if Trump wins they may lose taxpayer funding.
That and she can milk a bull
Yep, an ode to Slick Willie, made into a movie.
She definitely wanted to strap on something.
Obviously, the strategy now is a modified hangout basement strategy. Hiding in plain sight for the next 67 days. They might not be in the basement, but they might as well be for all the media access and pressure they will avoid. Hiding in plain sight. Campaign by teleprompter and media ads.
She has a lot of money, unless Trump can come close, she could win with all the media backing she’s getting.
Whether he wins or not, from now on all Repub candidates will be required by the media to condemn Trump. Almost like always having to condemn Hitler in Germany.
I would like to see Tammy Bruse interview her.
