Sometime in the mid-'80s, I remember going to Atlanta with a group from my church to see the Shroud of Turin, the linen cloth that some have claimed was the cloth that Joseph of Arimathea used to bury Jesus and place Him in the tomb. I remember images and videos in that crowded exhibit hall that told the story of the shroud, and of course, the shroud itself was on display in a glass case. I was probably 12 or 13, so I wasn’t mature enough in my faith to be able to conclude whether it was real. I do...

I really don’t like politics. But as Christians, we must not distance ourselves from politics because it’s politics and politicians that direct our public discourse, and it’s what we do as Christians, regarding politics, that determines the trajectory of our society and culture. We must not be ignorant of the devil’s devices. Will we continue to allow God and Jesus Christ to be erased and minimalized, or will we stand boldly for the One we claim to serve? Will we continue to bow the knee to “Caesar” or is there no king in America except King Jesus for us? Will...

When Kamala Harris became the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party, it undoubtedly caused a jolt of enthusiasm for her party, which had been looking at a landslide defeat with Joe Biden on top of the ticket. She took the lead in the polls as well as in the political markets. Harris had as much as a seven-point lead in Polymarket in the days leading up to the Democratic National Convention. Between the wall-to-wall glowing coverage from the media and the convention coverage, Harris would maintain that lead, if not expand on it. However, the lead she had before the...

As Steely Dan might say, the things that pass for knowledge today, I can’t understand. It’s all lies, falsehoods, and misdirection on tap, served fresh 24/7/365. Lie #1: Joe Biden was a great president, a dedicated public servant who put country first and stepped aside so that Kamala Harris’s brilliance could save our democracy. Well, that’s five lies all tied up in one bundle! Joe Biden is easily the worst president in my lifetime, possibly ever. He and his family got rich, not by serving anyone, but by grifting on his various political offices.

We knew that the Democrat party had no respect for the dead, exploiting their “unalive” status for votes, but dragging Joe Biden’s corpse out onto a public stage late at night for appearance’s sake is really just cruel—get this poor dude back to his casket where he belongs!Last night, Biden took the Monday night stage spot (a slot that President Trump rightly acknowledged as “Death Valley”) at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, to deliver his “boring as hell” farewell address of sorts, where and his brain-dead cognitive function was on full display—at one point, Biden actually declared that under...

Two brutes accused of randomly pummeling an 82-year-old woman on a Bronx street have been released without bail — even though the violent pair has a combined 18 prior arrests, The Post has learned. William Ballinger and Tammie Moore — both of whom have lengthy rap sheets — were busted by cops last week and charged with second-and third-degree assault for the vicious Aug. 2 attack on the elderly home health aide in Olinville, police said. Prosecutors asked that each of the 32-year-old defendants be held on $30,000 cash bail or $90,000 bond during their arraignments in Bronx Criminal Court...

Let’s be honest: RFK Jr. may just be another opportunistic politician, but he does happen to get a few things right, like his smart, common-sense stance on COVID and the vaccine, among other issues. Recently, we covered a story where RFK Jr. reportedly approached Team Kamala, looking to trade an endorsement for a high-ranking cabinet position, and we didn’t hold back.Word has it, Team Kamala told him to “put an egg in his shoe and beat it.”

Former President Barack Obama made it abundantly clear during his DNC speech Tuesday evening that former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for president, is living rent free in his head, going on and on about him in his divisive diatribe before later suggesting that it is the political right that lacks tolerance. Obama opened up his speech by praising President Joe Biden, whom he identified as a friend. But it did not take long for the 44th president to devolve into a long attack on Trump, perhaps signaling that he is truly concerned there could be a second Trump...

Is this in the same vein as his “stolen valor” lies? Or, is he just demonstrably uneducated and uninformed? Well, we’re talking about Tim Walz, so it’s hard to know. Now, Walz has been claiming that he and his wife used in-vitro fertilization, or “IVF” in order to have children; as it turns out though, this is entirely untrue. Walz and his wife reportedly turned to intrauterine insemination, or IUI, when they apparently struggled to conceive—is that because his wife is a beard and the mechanics needed for procreation aren’t part of the relationship equation? I myself am not convinced...

[Catholic Caucus] Archbishop Viganò: Bergoglio owes his ‘election’ to McCarrickIn a new interview given to Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò asserts that Francis 'owes' his 2013 election to the once-influential but now-laicized ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick. In a new interview given to journalist Franca Giansoldati of the Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò claims that Francis “owes” his 2013 election to disgraced ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick. And therefore should not exist. The DNC 2016 party platform began by claiming that “Democrats meet in Philadelphia with the same basic belief that animated the Continental Congress when they gathered here 240 years ago.” Four years later, out went the Continental Congress and all of America. The 2020 DNC platform began with a politically fashionable ‘land acknowledgement’ asserting that America was an illegitimate entity operating on stolen land “built on Indigenous homelands.” The 2024 platform likewise begins with a ‘land acknowledgement’ claiming that Chicago properly belongs to 13 different Indian tribes. Once again, the DNC asserts that they “recognize...

By the end of Biden’s term in office, his DHS will have arrested and released or allowed into American via the CBP One App and released over 1,000,000 illegal alien Venezuelans. It has been reported beyond argument that Venezuela has emptied her insane asylums and prisons and directed those individuals to America. What has happened to Venezuela’s murder rate? Well, Venezuela now claims the lowest murder rate in the last 22 years! I wonder what the number of murders of American citizens are at the hands of illegal alien Venezuelans. I would need a lot more space on Substack to...

The latest incident arrived on Sunday when Seattle Storm's Skylar Diggins-Smith took a cheap shot at Clark after she inspired the Indiana Fever to a 92-75 win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Diggins-Smith, an Olympic gold medalist...

Other anti-Trump Republican voices are scheduled to speak later this week in former Rep. Adam Kinzinger, who served on the House Jan. 6 panel, and former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan, who has already endorsed Harris. *** Grisham lambasted Trump’s character and said he mocks his supporters in private. Behind closed doors, Trump mocks his supporters. He calls them basement dwellers,” she said. “He has no empathy, no morals and no fidelity...
