Controversial podcast host Jason Whitlock has accused black WNBA players of being racist towards Caitlin Clark and slammed networks like ESPN for not talking about it.
The No. 1 overall pick and rookie sensation has been subject to rough treatment on numerous occasions during her first season as a pro, with some accusing her opponents of being jealous of her remarkable impact on women's basketball.
The latest incident arrived on Sunday when Seattle Storm's Skylar Diggins-Smith took a cheap shot at Clark after she inspired the Indiana Fever to a 92-75 win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Diggins-Smith, an Olympic gold medalist and six-time WNBA all-star, was caught needlessly bumping into Clark at the end of Sunday's game.
Clark was hyping up the Fever fans after the buzzer when Diggins-Smith appeared to speed up her walk to purposely crash into her opponent.

Not this again…..it’s clickbait.
Black people can’t be racist. Didn’t he get the memo?
You’d think other players would worship her for what she done for ticket sales and future contract potential. Instead, other players take cheap shots at her all the time. I think it’s pure jealousy mixed in with racism because she outplays blacks.
Its actually not clickbait........
Its all true.
It’s clickbait for people who know little or nothing about basketball.
This is an old story. They missed an opportunity to really make this clickbait by saying racism AND the fact that she isn’t a lesbian.
This is just plain old jealousy. All of these WNBA players should be thanking Clark. She single handed increase the views of women’s basketball by 1000 percent. Which makes every player and the entire league more money. Increasing sponsorship opportunities for everyone.
All analogies limp.
But her dicey and isolated situation, as well as, fortunately, her indomitable spirit and mental makeup, are both similar to those of Jackie Robinson.
NFN, but racism is not the only, or frankly even the primary, “ism” apparently at play here.
Leave it at that.
And none of her black or lesbian teammates have her back.
😱😱😱😱
And none of her black or lesbian teammates have her back.
She has a multi million dollar offer from Ice Cube to join his 3 on 3 league. I really hope she leaves the WNBA and lets that league twist in the wind, stuck in obscurity.
He’s right
At all.
Sadly.
Did Clark even feel it?
Weak
Not likely. Clark is a transcendent star. She’s single-handedly lugging her team into the playoffs. I’m a believer now.
