With Trump picking JD Vance as his running mate, speculation rises about Vance's Senate replacement. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah: “Who else wants JD Vance’s Senate seat to be filled by Vivek Ramaswamy?” Vivek: “I have rock-solid conviction that JD will be an outstanding VP for President Trump. Former Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-AR) said Tuesday on CNN’s “New Central” that former President Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), did not support “America’s global leadership.” When asked about his reaction to the pick, Hutchinson said, “He brings the youth mix to the table but lacks executive experience. But the question is, the Nikki Haley supporters, the independent voters out there, how are they going to react to it? And right now, he really doesn’t have the national profile as many others. So, it is almost a blank slate in some ways. His speech this week will...

There’s no other way to say it: Ingrid Andress—the country singer you may or may not know from songs like “More Hearts Than Mine” and “Wishful Drinking”—gave a god awful performance of The Star Spangled Banner last night. It might not have been Fergie bad (feel free to debate that one in the comments), but it certainly joins the un-hallowed halls of performances like Carl Lewis’ and Roseanne Barr’s.

Many may remember the television series based upon Laura Ingalls Wilders’ novel, Little House on The Prairie. It’s the story of a man who moved west so his...

.....After decades of being patched up on the cheap, London’s rental homes are in a state of comical disrepair. In one flat, my housemate and I spent an entire night trying to stop our sink from flooding the kitchen, which it tended to do whenever we used the washing machine thanks to a creative plumbing job the landlord had done while cramming another bedroom into the flat. I’m 28 now, and there’s a Section 21 notice in my inbox. My current landlord has decided to raise the rent beyond what I can afford, having already bumped it up last year...

“The one who loves his brother abides in the light and there is no cause for stumbling in him” (1 John 2:10). Loving other Christians gives assurance to your own faith. Loving fellow Christians is instinctive for genuine believers. Paul told the Thessalonians, “Now as to the love of the brethren . . . you yourselves are taught by God to love one another” (1 Thess. 4:9). He further encouraged them to “excel still more” in love (v. 10) because there is always room for believers to love one another more completely. Nevertheless, if we are truly saved we will...
