United Nations alarmist-in-chief António Guterres laid into fossil fuel companies Wednesday, calling for a ban on their ads and increased taxes on energy firms. “Climate change is the mother of all stealth taxes paid by everyday people and vulnerable countries and communities,” Guterres said in a special address on climate action delivered in New York City. “Meanwhile, the godfathers of climate chaos — the fossil fuel industry — rake in record profits and feast off trillions in taxpayer-funded subsidies.” The Portuguese socialist amped up his already heated rhetoric, insisting that the world is on a “highway to climate hell” and...

"I think that the US administration will compel the leadership of Ukraine to make these decisions - to lower the draft age to 18, and then get rid of Zelensky... To accomplish all of this, I believe it will take a year," Putin stated. Speaking about monthly losses in the conflict, Putin said that Ukraine's losses amount...

Beloved, it tears at my soul and nauseates me full score to witness the horrific destruction and death, including mere babes and children, in the wake of what I describe is the wickedness of any and all aspects of tornadoes. I believe they are indeed responsible of the supernaturally evil sort, spiritual wickedness that is striking our once Great Nation with unrelenting fury. Again, Beloved, we are in what is called The End Times before Christ Jesus’ Return. We are under attack by the Enemy. There have been miraculous accounts from those who have emerged from twisted wreckage of their...

During a conversation with "Kill Tony" comedian Tony Hinchcliffe on Wednesday, podcast host Joe Rogan discussed his view of the political ramifications of the prosecution of Donald Trump. "What's scary is how many Democrats are willing to allow this kind of stuff to happen. A lot of them are aware of it," Rogan said. "Especially if you wanted to look at past presidents with the same scrutiny... Imagine if, when Obama got into office, he decided to prosecute Dick Cheney and George Bush for crimes against humanity... Even what Obama did -- during the administration, they dropped a drone on...

Americans nibble their way through more than 3 million tons of chocolate each year, savoring the aromatic bitterness that only the seeds of the cacao plant can deliver. To make the signature flavor palatable as a sweet treat, chocolate manufacturers combine a paste made from cacao seeds with sugar. Lots and lots of sugar – often enough to rival all the other ingredients combined, in fact. Together with significant amounts of saturated fatty acids, provided by the addition of cocoa butter from the fruit, the few health benefits provided by the chocolate bean are swamped by ingredients that increase the...

A former FBI staff operations specialist who had his security clearance suspended over "security concerns" about his "allegiance to the United States" has won a settlement with the bureau, his attorneys said on Tuesday. Marcus Allen had his security clearance revoked in 2022 when the FBI claimed Allen had withheld "relevant information" related to the Jan 6. defendants. The bureau cited concerns over how his views of the Jan 6. protests were affecting his work, according to a letter the FBI sent Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio. Allen was one of three men who accused the FBI of overreach and retaliation...

Gov. Katie Hobbs has been caught red-handed violating state law by appointing 13 agency heads without the Senate’s approval, according to a ruling by Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Scott Blaney. This move was an attempt to bypass the traditional cabinet approval process, which Hobbs described as a “political circus” orchestrated by the Republican-controlled Senate. This ruling could ignite a new round of political gamesmanship as Hobbs tries to get her agency heads past the Senate’s scrutiny. It also raises questions about the future leadership of state agencies that manage critical programs like unemployment, housing assistance, and Medicaid. Hobbs had...

On Monday, May 27, a cinnamon color phase of the common black bear entered the home of a long-time resident of Lake Tahoe, California. The bear has been reported to be a yearling. Yearling bears, recently separated from their mothers, have a difficult time establishing a territory of their own. Sometimes, sows, cubs, and young bears will keep close to human habitations to avoid being killed and eaten by adult male bears. A majority of young bears who do not reach adulthood are killed by mature male bears. It appears this young bear disputed the ownership of the house with...

“Now God granted Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the commander of the officials” (Daniel 1:9). God’s favor is the rich reward of obedience. God delights in granting special grace and favor to those whose hearts are set on pleasing Him. For example, “Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord” and was spared the ravages of the Flood (Gen. 6:8). Joseph found favor in His sight and was elevated to prominence in Egypt (Gen. 39—41). God granted Moses and the children of Israel favor in the sight of the Egyptians, and they were able to plunder...

It is past time for the media and Democrats to drop the ruse of Biden’s “neutrality and admit that they are terrified of the will of the people in November and so are conniving to silence them. The five criminal and civil prosecutions of Donald Trump all prompt heated denials from Democrats that President Biden and Democrat operatives had a role in any of them. But Joe Biden has long let it be known that he was frustrated with his own Department of Justice’s federal prosecutors for their tardiness in indicting Donald Trump. Biden was upset because any delay might...
