A January 2024 court-authorized operation has neutralized a network of hundreds of small office/home office (SOHO) routers that GRU Military Unit 26165, also known as APT 28, Sofacy Group, Forest Blizzard, Pawn Storm, Fancy Bear, and Sednit, used to conceal and otherwise enable a variety of crimes. These crimes included vast spearphishing and similar credential harvesting campaigns against targets of intelligence interest to the Russian government, such as U.S. and foreign governments and military, security, and corporate organizations. In recent months, allegations of Unit 26165 activity of this type has been the subject of a private sector cybersecurity advisory

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A cyber-security expert says it could take months before Fulton County fully recovers from a ransomware attack. It’s been nearly three weeks since the county government’s computer system was hacked, disrupting many services. Channel 2′s Bryan Mims was in Roswell where county officials are also saying some personal information may have been leaked. They haven’t said whether it was county employees or residents whose information may have been compromised. Many services are still down. The East Roswell Library is open, but all the computers are out of service.

President Biden lashed out at critics who questioned his cognitive ability Thursday, telling reporters at the White House that he can't remember a single time when his memory failed him. "Don't you think I would know if I were having memory problems?" the president asked. "I'm as sharp as a tack, Jack. I've got no cognitive issues whatsoever. My memory is as perfect as it was back in 2024 when I was president." "Also, don't you think I'd know if I were having memory problems? People with memory problems mix up names, dates, and places," he noted. "They wander around...

Almost $60 million in debt backed by 1515 Market St. was transferred to special servicing in December, adding the 20-story building to the growing list of distressed office properties surrounding City Hall. The building's owner, Florida-based Accesso Partners, has a $59.4 million balance on the loan it took out to acquire 1515 Market for $85 million in 2014. The loan, which was originated by JPMorgan Chase & Co. before being converted into a commercial mortgage-backed security (CMBS) and sold to investors, is set to mature in January 2025. Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) has not ruled out voting for President Biden while vowing to not back former President Trump as the two head toward a likely rematch in November. Christie was asked in an interview on Crooked Media’s “Pod Save America” podcast on Wednesday whether the choice between Biden and Trump matters in next November’s election as the two remain the front-runners of their respective parties. He did not commit to voting for Biden, suggesting that he would likely support a potential No Labels bid by Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) instead.

Democrats are eying a plan to bypass House Speaker Mike Johnson and force a vote on a sweeping foreign aid package, but it’s quickly running into hurdles — and not just from Republicans.Progressive firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. told Semafor Tuesday evening that she would not sign onto a discharge petition to force a vote on the national security package in part because of the assistance it would provide to Israel. “Am I signing it? No,” she said. The foreign aid bill combines billions of dollars in aid for Ukraine, Israel, and allies in the Asia Pacific.Ocasio-Cortez is one of multiple...

Illegals are a greater threat to democracy than anyone supposed, yet not quite in the way many had predicted. Up until now, I'd always thought the 'great replacement' theory to remove the current Western electorate and replace them with third-world illegal migrants was some nutty fringe-right conspiracy theory. The idea has been roundly denounced by the establishment as racist, although the French novelist who invented the theory in 2011, Renaud Camus, insisted that his theory was about civilizational values, not skin color. These days, based on how the migrant crisis is unfolding in a couple of developments, it's possible to...

Russia has concentrated more troops on the Orikhiv front than on the Avdiivka front. It is likely that the Russians will try to make progress towards the liberated village of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.Source: Dmytro Lykhovii, spokesperson for the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group, on air during the 24/7 national joint newscastQuote: "The enemy group that has concentrated on the Orikhiv front (Zaporizhzhia Oblast – ed.) over the past few days or weeks is larger in size than the group that is currently involved in the Avdiivka front. It is obvious that the Muscovites did not go there for a stroll in...

VIDEOOnly one person had more at stake inside the hearing at Judge Scott McAfee's courtroom than Fani Willis today. That was Michael Isikoff because he just spent two years of his life writing, along with co-author Dan Klaidman, "Find Me The Votes" whose premise went on life support almost at the very moment of publication when the Willis-Wade scandal broke. It would be no surprise to see his book soon appearing on Dollar Store shelves based on what happened on the first day of the hearing.

"William would be upset that Harry yet again has chosen to make this visit to see his father a PR opportunity," Seward added. "As far as William is concerned, he has absolutely no interest in speaking to Harry until Harry behaves like a gentleman and apologizes for the years of rudeness and slurs he has aimed at William and the Princess of Wales."T

On this date in 1673, Indians named Kaelkompte and Keketamape were sentenced to hanging and gibbeting for the murder of an English soldier near Albany, New York. (The date this sentence was executed, if it was not immediate, has been lost to history.) This place had been known as Beverwijck up until a few years prior, when the English gave it its new and still-current christening* after taking it away New Netherland during the Second Anglo-Dutch War. The transition of its legal organs was a more gradual process — with a long survival of Dutch practices upon which the English...

ATLANTA, Georgia — Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis fought back against allegations about her personal life during a Thursday court hearing on whether she misrepresented her relationship with Nathan Wade, the prosecutor hired as lead lawyer in the Georgia election interference case against former President Donald Trump. "You're confused. You think I'm on trial," Willis quipped to a defense attorney. "These people are on trial for trying to steal an election in 2020. I'm not on trial, no matter how hard you try to put me on trial." An attorney for Willis made one last attempt to keep her...

A plan to integrate two nearby Washington, D.C., schools with vastly different racial backgrounds is sparking fierce debate among parents in the predominantly liberal community. Nearly 6 in 10 of the 500 children at Maury Elementary School are White. At Miner Elementary School, 80% of the kids are Black, many of whom are in foster care, receive public assistance or are homeless. Enrollment at the school has been declining, according to The Washington Post. District officials have put together a plan where children would spend their early education at one school and later transfer to the other. Their goal is...

Age matters, but so do words. While pundits debate President Biden’s cognitive fitness for office and the possible motivations behind prejudicial language contained in special counsel Robert K. Hur’s classified documents report, the rest of us have a different problem: the “elderly.” Older people themselves aren’t the issue, but the way we talk about them is. We must change the language our society uses to describe older adults. Read more: Calmes: Will that special counsel report light a fire under Biden the Elderly? Among the ageist stereotypes in Hur’s characterization of Biden as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a...

@TuckerCarlson Lindsey Graham’s latest scheme is convincing Republicans that it’s somehow better to loan Zelensky $60 billion, rather than give it to him. Some are falling for this. But it’s fraudulent. Ukraine will never repay the debt, and we’ll never make them. This is just a more dishonest way to send more unaccounted for weapons to the region, delay the inevitable peace deal and kill more forcibly-conscripted Ukrainians, some of whom are nearly Lindsey Graham’s age. It’d be easier to take if he’d join them on the battlefield.

The Walt Disney Company has been hit with a federal civil rights complaint alleging the company’s DEI policies are unlawful and discriminate against white American men, Christians, and Jews.America First Legal filed the complaint against Disney on Wednesday. The group cited publicly available documents published on Disney’s official sites as well as leaked internal documents showing how executives have made diversity, equity, and inclusion a central part of Disney’s hiring practices.“It is sad and tragic that a company whose name was once synonymous with wholesome and charming childhood fantasies is now dedicated to spreading divisive bigotry. We urge Disney to...

"And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; "And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his...
