Clearly, there are a lot of people out there who don't understand the meaning of diversity and tolerance. Unfortunately, quite a few happen to attend our prestigious university. And lately, diversity and tolerance have become part of a feeling of negativity that is gaining strength on this campus. What I wish to do is point out the misunderstandings about the D&T combo that have become evident over the past few weeks. First off, let's try and define diversity. Grouping together a bunch of definitions on dictionary.com, I'd say that diversity is the existence of a state of hetereogenioty at a...

A 15-year-old boy was slashed in the face, possibly with a box cutter, inside his Bronx charter school Thursday — the third burst of Big Apple student violence in as many days, according to cops and police sources. The unidentified student was rushed to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition following the attack at the AECI Charter School in Melrose, cops said. Another 15-year-old boy was taken into custody, but no further details are immediately available, police said. The two students were “fooling around” when one of them pulled out what’s believed to be a box cutter and slashed the other’s...

Good morning all from Pearl Harbor, where the 82d anniversary ceremony has just concluded. It’s a beautiful morning here, just as it was that terrible Sunday when the attack began at 7:55 a.m. A moving ceremony, with all branches of the services represented, a fly by with missing man formation, and the guided missile destroyer USS Decatur passed in review and rendered honors. Six Pearl Harbor survivors were in attendance and honored this morning. Unfortunately, my friend Lou Conter, last survivor of the USS Arizona, aged 102, was not able to attend, though his grand nephew, Ray Hower, delivered stirring...

The co-founder and executive director of a major American Muslim civil rights organization characterized Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attacks in Israel in which more than 1,200 were killed as Gazans “break[ing] the siege, the walls of the concentration camp.” “Yes, I was happy to see people breaking the siege and throwing down the shackles of their own land and walk free into their land that they were...

The United States said it will carry out military flights in Guyana on Thursday in a joint operation as the South American country faces soaring tensions with neighboring Venezuela over a contested oil-rich region. "In collaboration with the Guyana Defence Force, the U.S. Southern Command will conduct flight operations within Guyana on December 7," the American embassy in Guyana said in a statement, noting the flights are part of "routine engagement" to enhance a security partnership between the two countries.

As President Trump continues to dominate the 2024 GOP presidential primaries, attention has turned to who he will pick as his running mate. Now, we have a list of names Trump and his team are reportedly considering, but a potential wild card lurks. On Thursday, Axios published an extensive piece detailing the potential makeup of a Trump Cabinet in a second term. The 45th President and his team’s primary focus is ensuring all positions in government will be filled with people loyal to the America-first agenda and Trump. As Gateway Pundit readers know, Trump’s first term was marred by disloyal...

A long courtship President Vladimir Putin repeatedly invited Hamas’ political and military leadership back to the Russian capital. Hamas officials and commanders secured high-level meetings with then-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and Russia’s special envoy for the Middle East, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, among others. Bogdanov’s role in the link between Russia-Hamas is central. He has been in charge of the relationship on a day-to-day basis for many years, regularly meeting its leaders in Moscow and Qatar. Bogdanov has also been entrusted by Putin to undertake sensitive diplomatic missions with China, among other major actors, to...

FAYETTEVILLE, AR — As the December days began to tick away, a local man grew so desperate in his attempt to buy his wife a great Christmas gift that he decided to reach out to the National Security Agency to find out what she wants. "I figured it's my best shot," said Willard McBane. "She's always so difficult to buy for, and she doesn't ever give me any hints, so I knew I needed to bring the NSA in on this one." At first, Willard's attempts to ask for help were subtle. "I just started speaking out loud whenever I...

University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill has issued a groveling apology for her refusal to condemn calls for the genocide of the Jewish people on campus in her remarks to Congress — as Harvard University President Pauline Gay backtracked on her testimony. In a video posted on the Ivy League’s website Wednesday, Magill tried to explain her failure by saying she was not “focused” on the issue, and said that she wanted to “be clear” that calls for genocide were “evil, plain and simple.” But she also seemingly blamed university policies and even the US Constitution for allowing the calls...

Daily Readings from the USCCB“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.” Matthew 7:21It’s frightening to think of those of whom Jesus is speaking. Imagine arriving before the throne of God upon your passing from this earthly life and you cry out to Him, “Lord, Lord!” And you expect Him to smile and welcome you, but instead you come face-to-face with the reality of your ongoing and obstinate disobedience to the will of God throughout your life. You suddenly realize that...

Two out of New Mexico’s three congressional representatives refused to vote to condemn and denounce “the drastic rise of antisemitism in the United States and around the world,” with Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury (D-NM-01) being the only member of the delegation to vote for the measure. The measure read that the U.S. House “strongly condemns and denounces all instances of antisemitism occurring in the United States and globally; (2) reaffirms and reiterates its strong support for the Jewish community at home and abroad; (3) calls on elected officials and world leaders to condemn and fight all forms of domestic and global...

The Democratic governor of Wisconsin has vetoed a bill that sought to outlaw gender transition treatments for minors. The veto from Gov. Tony Evers was expected, according to The Associated Press, as he previously vowed to strike down any proposals from the Republican-controlled Wisconsin legislature that he deems harmful to LGBTQ+ youth. The bill was passed by the state legislature in October. It would have banned gender transition surgeries, as well as all forms of transition treatment for minors in the Badger State, which includes puberty blockers and hormone treatment using estrogen and testosterone.

For those who don’t believe in a bureaucratic deep state, look no further than the outrageous conduct this week of the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board. Just who do these people think they are? Despite the majority of the air board being publicly fired Monday night by the Albuquerque City Council, the unelected air board is merrily moving along this week with a proposed regulation that advocates consider the “holy grail of environmental justice organizing,” but which business leaders consider a job-killer, military folks consider a national security threat and many others simply consider environmental extremism. The so-called Health,...

The White House on Thursday knocked the House GOP’s resolution to formalize its impeachment inquiry into President Biden, calling it a waste of time. “This baseless stunt is not rooted in facts or reality, but in extreme House Republicans’ shameless desire to abuse their power to smear President Biden. Fox News already reported that the only reason they’re having this vote is to ‘put a GOP win on the table for the base,’ which is sad, pathetic, and a waste of everyone’s time,” Ian Sams, White House spokesman for oversight, said in a statement.

After breaking down the gate, at least a dozen suspects were able to break in. Moments later, the thieves were seen fleeing the scene with expensive items including instruments and equipment, ditching the Kia and...

CTV’s BC bureau has found a potential cause célèbre on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, where enterprising YouTube documentarians sometimes like to stroll around with their iPhones and capture footage of the filth-strewn drug-zombie wasteland, putting themselves at obvious risk of robbery and violence (and occasionally depicting both) as they do so... Most of these videos have hit counts in the thousands, but one made by an American, Tyler Oliveira, has become an especially big hit. Oliveira has an entire online oeuvre of frightening mini-tours of skid rows and tent cities across North America... Well, CTV’s Isabella Zavarise heard about this extremely...
