More whistleblowers have stepped forward to tell Congress that high-ranking FBI officials are targeting agents, specifically former military members, for their political beliefs and trying to force them out of the bureau. A Marine and other military veterans at the FBI have been accused of disloyalty to the U.S. because they fit the profile of a supporter of former President Donald Trump, according to two disclosures sent to lawmakers on the House Judiciary Committee. The Washington Times obtained copies of the disclosures. The whistleblowers said Jeffrey Veltri, deputy assistant director of the bureau’s security division, and Dena Perkins, assistant section...

Instead of a repeat of the “Roaring 20s” from a century ago, this decade is now looking more like a no-recession 1990s boom economy, according to UBS Global Wealth. For a brief patch in 2021, markets were awash with talk of another “Roaring 20s” playing out. But that bullishness faded as inflation climbed above 5% and the Federal Reserve pivoted away from talk of “transitory” inflation to warning of the risks of it becoming trenchant. Then came the rate shocks of 2022, which left the S&P 500 SPX with a 19.4% loss, its worst yearly losses since 2008. The roughly...

[Catholic Caucus] Edward Pentin Exposes the Synod on SynodalityEdward Pentin is one of the most important Vatican journalists of the Francis era. He is the author of the book The Rigging of a (2014) Vatican Synod?: An Investigation of Alleged Manipulation at the Extraordinary Synod on the Family. That book exposed the underhanded efforts to sideline traditionalists and conservatives at the 2014 Synod on the Family. Last week, in his speech to the Arlington Latin Mass Society, Mr. Pentin gave an impeccably-sourced, inside account of the manipulations in the first session of the Synod on Synodality last month. His speech...

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), originally perceived as the toughest Republican primary challenger to former President Donald Trump, is falling from grace in key battleground states such as New Hampshire, with more candidates ahead of him in the polls than just Trump. A new poll from 7News/Emerson College released on Wednesday found that 7% of voters would support DeSantis in the 2024 GOP primary, a significant decline from polling at 17% in March. Even former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who has maintained relatively low polling numbers in most GOP battleground states, has surpassed DeSantis, with 9% of voters stating they...

President Joe Biden’s Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen reverently welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping by applauding his arrival at the San Francisco Airport on Tuesday. Yellen’s display of veneration appears to confirm White House critics who believe the Biden administration consistently kowtows to China. The incident occurred as Xi slowly walked down the airstairs to meet Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) Tuesday afternoon, footage posted on X by the Republican National Committee’s War Room revealed. As he did so, the video pans to capture Yellen clapping Xi’s descent, while individuals who appeared to be of Asian ancestry clapped next to her.

[Catholic Caucus] In Defense of Bishop StricklandEmail from a Catholic Monitor reader: In Defense of Bishop StricklandThought you would appreciate this...To Whom It May Concern:Our apostles also knew, through our Lord Jesus Christ, that there would be strife on account of the office of the episcopate. For this reason, therefore, inasmuch as they had obtained a perfect fore-knowledge of this, they appointed those [ministers] already mentioned, and afterwards gave instructions, that when these should fall asleep, other approved men should succeed them in their ministry. We are of opinion, therefore, that those appointed by them, or afterwards by other eminent...

Florida Governor and Republican presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis has been left with egg on his face after claiming New Hampshire business owner Thomas Estey had endorsed him, only for Estey to deny it and announce his support for Donald Trump.“Ron DeSantis’s team kept bugging me for my endorsement, but I am 100 percent voting for President Trump,” said Estey in comments to local media this week.“[Trump] is the only one who can save our country from Joe Biden.” Estey added.Several recent polls support the businessman’s assessment, with Trump beating Biden in five out of six of the nation’s key swing...

Nov. 14 (UPI) -- A cargo plane that departed New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport had to turn around shortly after take-off when a horse got loose on board. A recording of air traffic control communication features the pilots of the Air Atlanta Icelandic plane explaining to JFK controllers that they had to return to the airport because a horse was loose on the aircraft. "The horse managed to escape his stall. We don't have a problem flying-wise, but we need to return back to New York; we cannot get the horse back secured," a pilot says in the...

Meanwhile in the Democrat hellhole of California… Another fire broke out underneath a Los Angeles freeway just days after the 10 freeway was closed down indefinitely due to a massive fire. A fire broke out underneath the 105 and 110 freeway interchange in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning. The blaze spread from a homeless encampment, according to reports. “From what we’re seeing here from Sky5, it would appear that it is some sort of encampment that is burning under the overpass,” KTLA 5’s Rich Prickett said. “For right now it’s contained in that one little area.”

On the 22nd and 23rd of Tishrei, 5784 according to the Jewish calendar, corresponding this year to October 7 and October 8, 2023 CE on the secular calendar, Jews around the world were celebrating the holiday of Simchat Torah, marking the annual completion of the reading of the Torah (The first part of the "Bible" in English) while starting again from the beginning. In Israel itself, thousands of mostly young Israeli Jews, along with some Christians and Muslims and others from around the world, were joyously attending a music festival in the southern part of the tiny country when Total...

Muy Macho Joe Scarborough thinks he is one tough hombre. And Scarborough's manly uber-manliness isn't confined to the serene byways of 30 Rock. To the contrary, Scarborough's machismo extends, quite literally, to the halls of the Capitol! As we noted last year, Scarborough fantasized about beating up a Capitol tourist taking photos somewhere Joe didn't like, making him "eat his camera." Tough stuff! The kind of thing Scarborough no doubt learned while summering on the hardscrabble streets of Nantucket. So it was paradoxical, to say the least, to find Scarborough clutching his pearls this morning over others engaging in tough...

On October 17, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), students taking a communications class were told:“The majority of Palestinians are children. They are seen as legitimate targets of violence.”“Israel and the United States do not give a shit about international law or war crimes.”“White nationalists like Richard Spencer see Israel as a model to be emulated.”“The attack by Hamas was not senseless, there is context.”These are just some of the things that professor E. Chebrolu said during a class titled, “Rhetoric and Public Issues” (COMM 170).Chebrolu told students, “What has been happening in Gaza and the...

The Senate Rules Committee advanced a resolution that could allow the consideration of 350 nonpolitical military promotions at one time, bypassing Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s (R-AL) blockade of nominees in protest of the Pentagon's abortion policy. The vote was 9 to 7, with all Democrats voting to advance the proposal and all Republicans voting against it. One Republican voting via proxy was not counted in the final breakdown. The plan would allow senators to change procedure temporarily without making a permanent rule change and could allow most of the stalled promotions to be considered on the floor in large batches. Major...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then...

Hunter Biden requested on Wednesday to subpoena former President Trump and three senior officials who served in his administration’s Justice Department, seeking evidence that Biden’s criminal prosecution is politically motivated. Biden, who faces three federal gun charges, is demanding Trump and former Attorney General Bill Barr turn over communications and documents concerning the president’s son or his criminal investigation. The demands for documents, which must be approved by a judge, also extend to former Deputy Attorney General Richard Donoghue and former acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen.

The media in America is destructive, inhumane, utterly immoral, and has no conscience as a group whatsoever, and they are tearing this country apart through their lies and projection. Donald Trump has been the greatest friend Israel and the Jewish people have ever had in the Oval Office, and the only president to have a Jewish family, but to people who don’t like him, he is Hitler. Democrat media outlets like Media Matters and people like Joe Scarborough make a mockery of the Holocaust by calling their political opponents Hitler as they do to Donald Trump, while they repeat Hamas...

Firstly, I want to start with a disclaimer. This is a short piece. But this topic could easily be the subject of a long essay or even a book, so I’ll just concentrate on what I think are some key points. Western culture is often seen as arising with the ancient Greeks, with Socrates, Plato and the others who gave us philosophy, geometry and democracy. Move forward and we reach the end of paganism and the beginning of organised religion. Christianity gave us original sin. This concept didn’t come from Jesus, although some Christians believe it originated in the Garden...
