Devon Wylie, a 2012 fourth-round pick of the Chiefs who had a brief NFL career as a receiver and return man, has died at the age of 35.
Fresno State, where Wylie played his college football, confirmed that he died. No cause of death has been reported.
Wylie was born and raised in the Sacramento area and played at Granite Bay High School before attending Fresno State.

I don’t remember so many reletively young athletes dying suddenly, if they did 40 years ago it was from a car crash, fight at a bar, or drug overdose.
My daughter and I didn’t get the clot shot.
I was told to shut up by damn near everyone here in Northern CA, both friends, family, and strangers alike, so what happens to them now? Doesn’t concern me really. You reap what you sow.
It could have been much worse.
A lot of probably clot shot cardiac related, but a lot of it is fentanyl related too. Toss in some suicidality related to TBI/CTE and its easy to see how we get to these numbers.
Safe and effective.
It used to be one could look forward to an enjoyable old age in retirement. Not so much anymore, with many never reaching that point. Still, there is an insane silence and denial surrounding the killing fields of young and middle-aged dead bodies piling up every day and everywhere. It’s like we have lost all compassion for humanity, along with any curiosity to determine why this abnormal dying is occurring. It’s grievously sad and heartbreaking for sure.

Excess deaths dropped to very low levels, even lower than in 2020, in the spring of 2021 and 2022.
This would not have happened if the fax was the cause.
Wylie started a musical career after leaving football and could be found at open mic nights around San Francisco. I’m thinking a needle was probably involved but it may not have involved a vaccine.
Campbell overlooks that excess deaths in the U.S. are lower in 2023 than they were in 2020-2022.
