Attorneys for Donald Trump have notified a Fulton County court that the former president will not seek to have his Georgia election interference case removed to federal court. The move comes three weeks after a judge denied a bid by co-defendant Mark Meadows, Trump's former chief of staff, to have his case moved. Meadows had sought the move to federal court on the basis that his alleged actions were all performed while he was acting "under color" of his role as chief of staff. Trump, Meadows, and 17 others have pleaded not guilty to all charges in a sweeping racketeering...

Unfortunately, under the Biden administration, instead of focusing on winning battles, the military has been preoccupied with pushing leftist talking points and agendas -- such as the LGBT ideology. So naturally, a rallying cry among conservatives in the past two years has been to get the military back on track and in shape to defend the nation against hostile forces. That's why Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas proposed an amendment to the House spending bill that would strip federal funding from drag shows and "pride" events at the Department of Defense.

When I was 17, I became a feminist campaigner because I wanted to fight for a future where women feeling safe and being heard were considered everyday norms. I’m 61 now and still fighting as hard as ever for those basic rights, which remain infuriatingly beyond our reach. The fact that, even today — especially today — I would find it incredibly difficult to advise a woman who has been raped to go and report it to the police breaks my heart. My younger self would, rightly, be appalled. But I know that unless a woman fits the profile of...

According to the portly 1% fellow of no political significance, we are all supposed to think “Donald Ducks” is some brilliant labeling by the jerk from Jersey. But in reality, it only shows the complete dissonance of the professional republican class who have hired him to take shots at the leading GOP candidate. If there is a better word than pathetic, use it here. What the hell did Ramalamadingdong have on top of his head last night? Good grief, if smuggling a Quokka onto the debate stage was a skillset for POTUS, Ramaswamy leads the furriers. Perhaps having to stand next...

Luke 9:7-9 Friends, in today’s Gospel, we see Herod interested in and perplexed by Jesus.Political rulers don’t come across well in the New Testament. In Luke’s Christmas account, Caesar Augustus is compared very unfavorably to the Christ child. And in Matthew’s account, that child is hunted down by the desperate Herod. Later, Herod’s son persecutes John the Baptist and Jesus himself. More to it, the Jewish authorities are seen in all of the Gospels as corrupt. And Pontius Pilate is a typical Roman governor: efficient, concerned for order, brutal. Like the other rulers of the time, he perceives Jesus, quite correctly,...

Jagger teased that the money should go to charity instead of his offspring. “The children don’t need $500 million to live well. Come on,” he joked to the publication.

Georgia Republicans have removed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' biggest threat. State Senator Colton Moore announced on Thursday that the state GOP voted to oust him over his calls to defund and investigate the district attorney in the wake of her sweeping RICO indictment that named former President Donald Trump and 18 of his allies as co-conspirators in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. "Today's removal is a direct result of me calling on my Republican colleagues in the Senate to do their job and sign onto an emergency session to investigate Fani Willis," Moore...

The Georgia Senate Republican caucus voted on Thursday to remove State Sen. Colton Moore from the caucus for taking a first step in August to defund, investigate, and possibly impeach Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who levied 13 counts against former President Donald Trump. An emergency legislative special session can come about two ways in Georgia: The governor can call an emergency session, or one can be called if...
