An unplugged version of the song which I think is very good.
I saw Clapton at Lakeland Civic Center in 1978 on his “Slowhand” tour, but he did not play this.

My favorite live version is from ‘73 in London: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xRt81kgbDxE&pp=ygUzZXJpYyBjbGFwdG9uIHJhaW5ib3cgY29uY2VydCAxOTczIGJlbGwgYm90dG9tIGJsdWVz
Clapton, rock icon, hears a couple of JJ Cale’s records and is transformed into “Slowhand”.
But, “Cocaine” is the only song on that album that JJ Cale wrote, and maybe it is just me, but I hate it.
I don’t want to fade away…
Derek and the Dominoes-his best work.
That whole “slowhand” style is ripped off from Cale. Clapton admits how much Cale influenced his style. I never liked that song either.

I wonder how Eric is doing after his run-in with the debilitating jab?
OK, thanks.
Great rendition!
