Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other Democrats were loudly heckled Friday at a press conference in New York City regarding the migrant crisis there. The Democrats, speaking outside of a hotel in Manhattan that has become a relief center for asylum seekers, were drowned out by shouting protesters chanting "send them back!" and "close the border!" "My name is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I'm here alongside Representative Adriano Espaillat, and we're incredibly thrilled and excited to be here..." Ocasio-Cortez started saying as the crowd started growing in noise outside the Roosevelt Hotel. "We have geographic diversity here, including representative from California, Texas, Illinois...

Trump Derangement Syndrome is such a debilitating ailment that MSNBC is now giving psychological advice on how its liberal TDS readers can ward off horrible visions. Unfortunately, as you can see in his September 6 MSNBC piece, "How not to have a psychic meltdown when you see new Trump-Biden poll numbers," it is Waldman himself who seems to be in deep need for intensive grief counseling.

Special counsel Jack Smith’s team urged the judge in its election interference case to reject a motion from former President Trump’s attorneys asking her to recuse herself. “There is no valid basis, under the relevant law and facts, for the Honorable Tanya S. Chutkan, United States District Judge for the District of Columbia, to disqualify herself in this proceeding,” prosecutors wrote. “Because the defendant’s motion fails to establish any bias by the Court, much less the deep-seated antagonism required for recusal, the Court has a duty to continue to oversee this proceeding.”

On this date in 1921, the Mad Baron* of the Russian Civil War was shot in Novosibirsk. Were you a Bolshevik propagandist during that war, interested in portraying the tsarist rearguard as literally a gaggle of psychopathic foreigners, Roman von Ungern-Sternberg was some kind of godsend. (Here’s his English Wikipedia page | German | Russian) A German-descended lord in Estonia whose family owed its ennoblement to the exercises of the “crusaders and privateers” (the baron’s words, perhaps holding more of self-promotion than truth) up the family tree. One ancestor was supposedly a notorious Baltic Sea pirate. Ungern — he’s often...

Did we just witness the unveiling of the most amazing “alien discovery” in history, or was it all a hoax? 2023 has been a really weird year, and it just got even weirder. On Tuesday, an independent researcher named Jamie Maussan brought two small mummified specimens with him when he testified at a congressional hearing in Mexico about UFOs. The mummified specimens were contained in two glass display cases, and so they could be very clearly seen. By now, you have probably come across photos or videos of these creatures on social media. But are they actually real? According to...

Jason Carter, his grandson, is the chairman of the Carter Center and told USA Today Thursday that they are happy. “They are together. They are at home. They are in love, and I don’t think anyone gets more than that,” he said. “I mean, it’s a perfect situation for...

Pastor Rick Morrow of Beulah Church in Richland, MO, is under fire for claiming that that children with autism are demon-possessed, as God does not and would not make them that way, leaving only Satan the culprit for their condition. Morrow told his congregation during a Q & A session about ‘deliverance’: This is very crucial. If someone has a physical infirmity and you cast that demon out, you might have to pray for some things to be fixed. Let’s talk about one. Let’s talk about autism. I know a minister who has seen lots of kids that are autistic...

During a recent service Interfaith Pride Celebration, which included congregants and ‘pastors’ from other nearby UCC churches and they still couldn’t fill the room, the Rev Bailey led the church through a read-and-response call to worship, which had the bastardized phrase “We praise God, for we are queer-fully and wonderfully made.” She also laments that the church condemns trans and ‘2-spirited’ identities and then recounts the story of Noah and the flood to some children who hadn’t heard it before, and her version is about as bad as one could expect. In a move that should surprise no one, the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission board of trustees unanimously elected Pastor Kevin Smith as their Chairperson- a bold move given the disdain and contempt Smith has for so many Southern Baptists within his denomination. According to a press release from the ERLC “this is the first time a Black man has held the position in the history of the entity.” You’ll recall during 9Mark’s 2022 ‘The State of the SBC‘ assessment on the first day of the SBC General Convention, Kevin Smith, former Executive director of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware...

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican transgender rights activists Kenya Cuevas and Andrea Luna sat in front of their longtime friend Paola Buenrostro’s pink grave in Mexico City. “You don’t have to pay rent anymore. You will have your own home now,” Luna sadly joked to her late friend, a transgender woman slain in front of Cuevas in 2016. Buenrostro will be the first woman to be moved to a mausoleum a short distance away entirely dedicated to transgender women that was inaugurated on Thursday. Many of the dead transgender women were victims of hate crimes. Built in Iztapalapa, the most...

"We, the people, must hold an overreaching government accountable for violating our most sacred rights". "My position was just tell the American public the truth. There are side effects to vaccines. Tell them the truth and don’t try to package it.” That was Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control during the administration of Donald Trump. Dr. Redfield recently went on record that the government health bureaucracy tried to quash discussion about the ineffectiveness of Covid vaccines. “There was such an attempt to not let anybody get any hint that maybe vaccines weren’t foolproof, which, of course,...

Gov. Kristi Noem Wednesday denied allegations from a conservative media outlet that she is having an extramarital affair with former Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski. "These rumors are total garbage and a disgusting lie," the South Dakota Republican tweeted. "These old, tired attacks on conservative women are based on a falsehood that we can't achieve anything without a man's help. I love Bryon. I'm proud of the God-fearing family we've raised together. Now I'm getting back to work." Noem was responding to a report from American Greatness, which cited multiple unnamed sources who claimed she is romantically involved with Lewandowski, who...

A decade ago, high school football seemed doomed. Stories of retired NFL players haunted by head injuries filled the news. Participation dwindled as parents feared putting their kids in the sport. Then the pandemic further dimmed Friday night lights across the country and threatened to speed football’s decline. But the sport has staged a surprising comeback. Turnout of boys for high school football rose 5.6% last year, according to recently released data by the National Federation of State High School Associations.

VIDEO Did you know that all it takes to bribe Kristin Welker is to treat her to a steak dinner? That is the claim by Keith Olbermann as to why Welker treated President Donald Trump mostly fairly (at least compared to Chris Wallace) during his 2020 debate that she moderated and why Welker has invited Trump to appear on her premiere Meet The Press episode that will be hosted by her. It would be difficult to bribe even a normal person with income level much below that of Welker with just a steak dinner. However, if someone tried to bribe...
