Former President Jimmy Carter and former first lady Rosalynn Carter’s grandson said the couple is “coming to the end,” but remain together and in love.
Carter entered into hospice care earlier this year, his charity, The Carter Center, announced in February. In May, the former first lady was diagnosed with dementia.
Jason Carter, his grandson, is the chairman of the Carter Center and told USA Today Thursday that they are happy.
“They are together. They are at home. They are in love, and I don’t think anyone gets more than that,” he said. “I mean, it’s a perfect situation for this time in their lives.”

The peanut farmer was never meant to be president. He was TERRIBLE at it. That being said, he was a kind-hearted man, not like Dims these days. I think he did a lot of good work for charity.
He and his wife had a long, good life together. It’s time for them to go home in peace.

Will he have a state funeral? Not sure if that’s going to happen, or what the family plans. But the media will give him saturation coverage, probably for a whole week, when the time comes.

Mister Carter publicly proclaimed that Trump was an illegitimate President subject to Russian influence in 2017. I have no use for the man. He was a lousy president and from what I have read, a total phony.
