In the first Republican presidential debate, Nikki Haley got in a pretty effective jab at Vivek Ramaswamy, the tech tyro who was informing the American people of his strange views on world affairs: “You have no foreign-policy experience, and it shows.” Never mind that Haley’s foreign-policy experience as Donald Trump’s mouthpiece at the United Nations hardly makes her Henry Kissinger. She’s right about Ramaswamy. His erratic suggestions for selling out Ukraine and Taiwan as part of some Risk-style geopolitical maneuver have now been revealed as reflecting a factually undernourished version of U.S. foreign policy that the candidate explained in a...

A California school district has agreed to pay $100,000 to a mother who accused educators of encouraging her daughter to switch genders behind her back, a deal hailed by her attorneys as a “resounding victory for parental rights.” “Today’s settlement is a clear message to schools: parents will not stand idly by as schools trample on their right to raise their children,” said the Center for American Liberty, which represents Jessica Konen and her daughter Alicia. The center announced Tuesday a settlement between the Spreckels Union School District and Ms. Konen, who claimed in a lawsuit filed last year that...

Former President Trump told conservative media personality Glenn Beck he would prosecute his political enemies if elected president again. “You said in 2016, you know, ‘Lock her up,'” Beck reminded Trump of his statements about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016 during an appearance on his BlazeTV show Tuesday. “And then when you became president, you said, ‘We don’t do that in America. That’s just not the right thing to do.' “That’s what they’re doing,” Beck continued, asking the former president, “Do you regret not locking her up? And if you’re president again, will you lock people up?” Trump,...

Vladimir Putin moved his $100m (£75m) superyacht from a German shipyard to Russia just weeks before he ordered the invasion of Ukraine, according to secret documents released in a new investigation. A Russian anti-corruption organisation set up by the jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny claims emails show that the Russian president ordered the urgent moving of the 82-metre superyacht, called Graceful, from a shipyard in Hamburg, where it was undergoing a $32m refit, by 1 February 2022. Photos show the ship being towed out of Hamburg on 7 February en route to the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, after the...

"Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. And the world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God abides forever" (1 John 2:15-17). If you love the world, you’re engaging in a love God hates. Satan, from the very beginning...

Second Amendment advocates won a big victory on Monday as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Colorado’s law forbidding gun sales to adults under the age of 21 cannot be enforced while the measure is being challenged in court, rejecting an appeal by Gov. Jared Polis, who was seeking to enforce the prohibition. Back on August 7th, just a day before the new law was set to take effect, a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction requested by Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, but Polis quickly appealed that decision. In their brief two-page order, appellate judges Carolyn McHugh and...

“Our fundamental policy is to develop relations with the Republic of Armenia. Iran always defends the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia. A train operator was beaten by an unhinged pipe-wielding man, and a straphanger was stabbed by a stranger in separate attacks on the subway system over the weekend, cops said Tuesday. The most recent of the two incidents took place at the 168th Street-Washington Heights station around 11:45 p.m. Sunday when a passenger began arguing with the subway worker as he cleared a northbound C train that was taken out of service, police said. The rider refused to get off the train and flashed a box cutter and a metal pipe at the 37-year-old male worker, who had ordered him...
