I am facing a large bill in a few months for a prescription drug that my doctor says I need. My insurance is currently charging me $131 per 3 months. However, the drug costs the insurance company nearly $2,000 per 3 months. In July this charge will push me into the Medicare Part D "donut hole" gap, and I will have to pay nearly $500/3 month.
