I am facing a large bill in a few months for a prescription drug that my doctor says I need.
My insurance is currently charging me $131 per 3 months. However, the drug costs the insurance company nearly $2,000 per 3 months. In July this charge will push me into the Medicare Part D "donut hole" gap, and I will have to pay nearly $500/3 month. I cannot afford that.
I am thinking my best bet for lower prices is a reputable source outside the USA, such as a pharmacy in Canada, such as Claymans Pharmacy.
Does anyone have experience or knowledge about ordering prescription medicine from foreign sources?
Let us know if you find a good one that delivers. We’re taking it in the shorts here thanks to our bought off Congress.
sure, and I want one with a .Indian doctor on call so I can get anything I want approved, even Hcg and like all kinds of other strange but totally pure stuff from the best and most trustworthy source of Drugs except for China of course.
I tried buying all my drugs from the royal family of Nigeria but they never delivered, then I decided to take a Passage to Bancock cause I heard they only had the best.
So yes please everyone help :)
Check out “Your Canada Drug Store”. YCDSCC.COM. Cat needs inhalent. I buy from them at 1/3 the price.
Have you tried stuff like GoodRX? I see a lot of this as a pharmacy tech, and it doesn’t always help, but it’s worth looking.
We also use oscorxsavingsfinder.com, but often some of the coupons don’t work.
Long shot, but for that kind of money worth a few phone calls.

I’m in the donut hole by April every year. The copays are killing me. Good luck
Mark Cuban has a company that gets huge discounts for people like you. Might be worth checking it out

I was using this company out of Canada in 2020.
It was MUCH MUCH cheaper than US.

I’ve looked at GoodRX, but my med actually cost more there.
I am off all drugs except very cheap Lisinopril 10 mg.
At age 55 I needed a shelf full of drugs to make it through the day. Now better shape at age 83 than I was at age 55. Amazing how daily exercise has helped. My favorite exercise was walking 30 miles every week on a hilly golf course playing 5 rounds of 18 MON-FRI. Now it is boring treadmill due to move to FLorida and do not want to join another private golf club with those crazy high joining fees.
Ahhhh..a Rush fan...outstanding.

(Yes, the first one says "Canadian," but the products are drop-shipped from India.)
That is excellent that you were able to get off all your rx’s except for the bp med. I have been looking for a source where the meds aren’t made in China. What company manufactures your lisinopril?
India mart?
I was off all but one. Felt better at 72 than I did at 40. I’d gotten some physical therapy and was doing pretty good even with the results of a bad car accident until the Alameda fire in 2020. I was a homeless refugee living in a car. I got emphysema from living in smoke for 2 months, then severe pancreatitis, covid twice. Got down to 81 pounds. It was impossible to get medical care...I was always in the wrong county for Medicare advantage. It was a nightmare.
Now it’s just trying to keep me alive. I never did get back to my own community and fear I never will.
