The federal government's number-one worry is you. Long before the Department of Homeland Security attempted to justify the formal recognition of a "Disinformation Czar" to monitor Americans' speech or news broke that the State Department had been using a foreign organization called the Global Disinformation Index to censor conservative voices here at home, it was clear that the war for free speech had begun. For years, conservative websites struggled to survive financially as shadowbans and stealth blacklisting eliminated advertising revenues and throttled user engagement. Online trolls infiltrated comment sections posting inflammatory content that could be used as false flag justifications...

Now he wants to create a new GOP Party that will eliminate permanently anyone threatening the Good Old Boys in the party. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp certified the 2020 Election in the state that was uncertifiable. Hundreds of thousands of ballots showed up after election day in 2020, giving Joe Biden the lead three days after the election by 12,000 votes. Kemp certified these results, no questions asked. At that moment Americans learned that Georgia,...

FORTRESS MONROE, Thursday, April 16. A dispatch from Gen. PALMER to Maj.-Gen. DIX, just received, states that Gen. FOSTER has been relieved. A river steamer, with a regiment and supplies of provisions and ammunition, succeeded in running the batteries on the Tar River, and reached the wharf at Washington on the 14th. Filers in parts of Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi have until July 31 to submit forms and payments because of severe storm and tornado damage. The Earth’s warming climate is altering everything from animal migration patterns to when plants bloom. Tweets swirled that Lee had dropped dead from cardiac issues as suspicions turned to COVID and its vaccines. The comments section of news stories about her death was overtaken by vaccine skeptics, while tweets about her passing were also inundated with messages by vaccine doubters. At the core of the serpent’s diabolical appeal to Eve was the seemingly irresistible invitation to step outside creation to evaluate the world neutrally and objectively. How? “You shall be as gods.” God alone sees the world from an objective angle. Because the cosmos depends before everything else on the Creator-creation distinction, to attempt to erase that distinction is cosmic insurrection. The devilish temptation for Eve to succumb to “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life” (1 Jn. 2:16) appealed to an insurrectionist impulse possible within creation.

Instead of earning money through their accustomed nonstop trade, they inflated their currency and were forced to melt down the city’s inherited gold and silver fixtures. The once canny and shrewd Byzantines grew smug and naïve. Childlessness became common. Most now preferred to live outside of what had become a half-empty, often dirty, and poorly maintained city.Meanwhile they underestimated the growing power of the Ottomans who systematically pruned away their empire.
