Never Trumper Bill Kristol called on Republican voters to support Democrat politicians “for a while,” and said he would support a 2024 presidential ticket led by Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Kristol over the weekend addressed a crowd of disillusioned Republicans about the need to get rid of “Trump Republicans” from the party. “It turns out that once you let the toothpaste out of the tube, so to speak, demagoguery and bigotry and all that, some people like it. It’s hard to get it back,” Kristol said. “You can’t just give them a lecture.”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson responded to criticism from Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) over releasing footage of the Capitol protests from Jan. 6, 2021.While speaking on the Senate floor, Schumer accused Carlson of "lying" and "manipulating" his audience by releasing the footage. "To say January 6 was not violent is a lie, a lie pure and simple. I don't think I've ever seen a prime-time cable news anchor manipulate his viewers the way Mr. Carlson did last night. I don't think I've ever seen an anchor treat the American people and...

Close Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett said in a video released Sunday to mark the 11th anniversary of the shooting death of Black Florida teen Trayvon Martin (as he pounded George Zimmerman’s head into the sidewalk) that then President Barack Obama told her to plant a question about Trayvon with a reporter at a Rose Garden event announcing the nomination of Jim Yong Kim for World Bank President held on March 23, 2012. Video and transcript of the event shows that only one question was asked at the event, and it was about Trayvon Martin. Jarrett: “President Obama had a press...

On the first full day of her administration, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey (D) signed an executive order creating the state’s first-ever climate chief and appointing Melissa Hoffer, a former Environmental Protection Agency official, to the Cabinet-level role. Hoffer, who previously worked for Healey when she was Massachusetts attorney general, is responsible for ensuring that climate change considerations are incorporated into “all relevant decision-making” at every state agency. Her position mirrors that of White House national climate adviser Ali Zaidi, whom President Biden has tasked with ensuring a whole-of-government approach to climate change within his administration. But unlike Biden officials, Hoffer...

So-called long COVID can be listed as a cause of death even if a deceased person had not tested positive for COVID-19 for months or even years, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said in a new update. “When completing the death certificate, certifiers should carefully review and consider the decedent’s medical history and records, laboratory test results, and autopsy report, if one is available. For decedents who had a previous SARS-CoV-2 infection and were diagnosed with a post-COVID-19 condition, the certifier may consider the possibility that the death was due to long-term complications of COVID-19, even...

Up until now, I've not been particularly impressed with the U.K.'s new prime minister, Rishi Sunak, who comes off as sort of a British version of a Mitt Romney-style corporate RINO, not a leftist, but certainly no Margaret Thatcher, either. But he's come up with some surprises. Here are his tweets on how he plans to disincentivize illegal immigration, a problem that's almost as bad over there as it is here: Today we are introducing new laws that mean if you come to the UK illegally you will be banned from ever re-entering our country. This is how we will break...

frequent talking point in the gun control debate is that Americans overwhelmingly support "common sense" gun control measures, such as universal background checks and red flag laws. The Biden administration referenced these surveys last month, when it announced that $231 million will go to states that enact "red flag" laws and push gun control policies. These surveys are constantly invoked in legislative hearings and in the media. But surveys often compress complicated bills down to one-sentence summaries, and the results are often unreliable. Gun control advocates claim that over 90% of Americans support universal background checks, which would require checks...

Consent-based morality is a disasterA recent BBC documentary on the life of Bill Cosby has suggested that the comedian should have been able to pay consenting women to take drugs and simulate the act of raping an unconscious female. The corpulent “non-binary” sex therapist Sonalee Rashatwar explained to filmmakers, “Sex negativity is what causes this type of behavior” and that in a sex-positive world, Cosby would not have needed to drug and rape unconscious women because he could have purchased a similar experience from consenting prostitutes. The fact that anyone, especially a BBC documentary, would turn to such a creature for...

Billionaire investor, philanthropist and business leader Ken Langone called out the Federal Reserve under President Biden for not acting on raging inflation that’s hurting average Americans most. "Let me say this to you about Joe Biden, in my opinion, and I'm going to be very, very direct: he thinks he's the smartest guy in the room," Langone said on "Mornings with Maria" Wednesday. "If that's the case, we're really in trouble, because the American people are a lot smarter than that." Further assessing the macroeconomic picture, Langone – who also co-founded Home Depot – called the Fed under Powell a...

(NEXSTAR) – The public health emergency may soon be coming to an end in the United States, but the COVID-19 pandemic is far from over, say doctors, epidemiologists and global health leaders. “Here in the United States, there are more than 2,000 deaths per week and 20,000 to 30,000 people hospitalized at any time,” said Dr. William Moss, executive director of the International Vaccine Access Center and professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. When the pandemic started is easier to determine than when it will end. The World Health Organization officially declared COVID-19 a global pandemic...

Yesterday, 30 years ago, February 26, 1993, was my last day in service as advisor on Countering Terrorism to two Israeli prime ministers, first Yitzhak Shamir and then Yitzhak Rabin. It was a clear cold winter Friday with blue skies. On that day, I gave a final briefing at the Pentagon to the office of Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict (SOLIC). At the time, "Low-Intensity Conflict" was a moniker for what later became known as anti-Jihad activities. Aftermath of the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing. (Source: Archives.fbi.gov/archives/news/stories/2008/february/tradebom_022608). I dedicated my briefing to the threat of Islamic fundamentalism. Employing the...

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is planning to resettle immigrants across the United States. Adams, a Democrat, unveiled his plans in a policy briefing released Tuesday titled "The Road Forward: A Blueprint to Address New York City’s Response to the Asylum Seeker Crisis." In his preface, Adams implicitly admits the overwhelming nature of the crisis, saying the city is unable to solve the "asylum seeker crisis" on its own. The move comes after a large wave of immigrants, sent by bus from red states, has left the city struggling to cope. Adams admitted it himself.

“The proletariat will use its political supremacy to wrest, by degree, all capital from the bourgeoisie… Of course, in the beginning, this cannot be effected except by means of despotic inroads on the rights of property….” — Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in The Communist Manifesto One of the most distressing trends to witness in the modern era is the governments’ trajectory towards utilitarianism that leaves behind it a bloody wake of “useless eaters.” Finding a person’s value not in his/her humanity but in subjective and ever-changing standards of worth (commoditized humanity), is rampant within leftism — which is why...

British energy giant Shell ensured the pay package for the company’s CEO jumped by half last year to nearly $12 million as oil and gas companies made record profits from runaway energy costs and consumers struggled with a global cost-of-living crisis. AP reports London-based Shell paid Ben van Beurden a total of $11.5 million in 2022 as annual company profits doubled to an all-time high of $40 billion because Russia’s war in Ukraine sent oil and gas prices soaring. Van Beurden stepped down at the end of last year after 40 years at the company.

Tucker Carlson is locked in shredding the nonsense surrounding the January 6 riot, which has been sold to the public as a violent insurrection. The hyperbole knows no bounds as others have said that day was worse than Pearl Harbor or the 9/11 attacks, once again showing that liberals have no sense of history. Trump supporters killed Capitol Police officers; people took that seriously. And it’s all a lie. It’s also a lie that those arrested, indicted, and convicted are domestic terrorists. I’m not referring to the ones who attacked police officers; they deserve whatever comes to them. But folks...
