Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong said at the end of last year the U.S. is being set up for a “nightmare fall.” Train derailments and political problems are spinning out of control, but the biggest threat is war. Armstrong explains, “They want a war, but they also need it because the monetary system is collapsing. . . . You have had interest rates at negative since 2014. So, suddenly interest rates are rising. Any bond owned by any institution in Europe is a loser. They have lost so much money, it’s incredible. What happens? Nobody is interested...

In the movies, jurors can be heroic. But on television, they might seem ditzy and self-involved. CNN This Morning played excerpts from CNN's interview of Emily Kohrs, the forewoman of Fulton County DA Fani Willis's special grand jury that investigated efforts to overtun the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. Her giddy affect seemed downright strange. And Paula Reid, chief CNN legal correspondent, calling the interview "very unusual," said: "I would expect the defense attorneys would have a field day with an interview like this."In the movies, jurors can be heroic. Here is the lunatic who led the Georgia grand jury investigation into President Trump and his perfectly normal phone call he made to Georgia officials after the 2020 election. Grand Jury Forperson Emily Kohrs: “Personally… I wanted to hear from the former president. But honestly, I kind of wanted to subpoena the former president, because I got to swear everybody in. And so I thought it’d be really cool to get 60 seconds with President Trump of me looking at him and being like, do you solemnly swear? And me getting to swear him in, I just, I kind of...

Certain American and Canadian scientists have officially proposed that the scientific community phase out the musty old terms “male" and "female” from scientific language in order to avoid any appearance of “emphasizing hetero-normative views.” Instead, these “experts” want terms such as “sperm-producing” and “egg-producing” to be employed, as they say they’re more inclusive. They also approved the use of “XY individual” or “XX individual” as tolerable alternatives. Moreover, these ass-hats scientists contend that the terms “man,” “woman,” “father,” and “mother” are “problematic,” as are those such as “primitive,” “advanced,” and “non-native.” Something called the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Language Project...

Four-and-a-half years after the destruction of 15 homes in Elazar's Netiv Ha'avot neighborhood, this morning (Wednesday) the Civil Administration's Higher Planning Committee greenlighted 433 housing units in the neighborhood. In addition, over 1,000 units were approved throughout Gush Etzion, while the eastern Gush community of Pnei Kedem was officially registered within the Israel Land Registry (Tabu). Back in 2018, Israel's Suprme Court ordered the demolition of 15 Netiv Ha'avot homes, which was carried out in June of that year. The court ordered the entire houses destroyed despite the fact that only a tiny part of the buildings, about two percent,...

The recently appointed Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean said Russia is considering taking control of Chisinau Airport to open a new front in Ukraine, confirming a claim by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. On February 20, 2022, Zelenskyy told the German media Die Welt that the Ukrainian special services have intelligence about Moscow’s plans to seize Chisinau Airport (KIV), in Moldova’s capital city, to use as a bridgehead before opening a new front in western Ukraine. “Ukraine will always be ready to help Moldova,” Zelenskyy said. How best to starve the red states? Liberal icon and strategic thinker Keith Olbermann celebrated Valentine's Day and expressed his love for his fellow Americans by calling for a civil war. He tweeted: We must have Economic Civil War. Blue States must financially starve the Red States, the Gun Lobby, the GOP, the Death Lobby, and the crooked judiciary into submission. NOW. He's concerned that we're not taking our gun problem seriously. He thinks it's time to get serious and take on: - The red states — teaching the backward flyover states a lesson in coastal wisdom - The gun...

The White House on Wednesday will unveil a plan to reduce mortgage insurance fees charged to first-time home buyers, helping an estimated 850,000 borrowers save about $800 a year on the cost of a typical loan, it said in a statement. Vice President Kamala Harris will announce the plan to lower fees on Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loans at an event in the Washington suburb of Bowie, Maryland. The San Francisco Chronicle notes that the Bay Area may also see a “very unusual” snow event, including in the city: An unusual burst of winter weather is on tap for California later this week as two powerful back-to-back storms drop strong winds and a...

She would not discuss specific indictments in the special grand jury’s report but noted that its recommendations were “not going to be some giant plot twist.” A special grand jury that investigated election interference by former President Donald J. Introduction Since becoming the world's most powerful country after the two world wars and the Cold War, the United States has acted more boldly to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, pursue, maintain and abuse hegemony, advance subversion and infiltration, and willfully wage wars, bringing harm to the international community. The United States has developed a hegemonic playbook to stage "color revolutions," instigate regional disputes, and even directly launch wars under the guise of promoting democracy, freedom and human rights. Clinging to the Cold War mentality, the United States has ramped up bloc politics and stoked conflict and...

Collaborationist French journalist Jean Luchaire was shot on this date in 1946. Fortuitously just too young for the trenches of the Great War, Luchaire (English Wikipedia entry | French) was the son of playwright Julien Luchaire, and he — the son — emerged in the interwar years as an important pacifist and advocate for French-German rapprochement. The 1939-1940 war between those countries obviously dunked this philosophy into the crucible, and not long after the Wehrmacht marched into Paris on June 14, 1940, Luchaire emerged as a friend of the Vichy government. His Les Nouveaux Temps* — founded in November 1940...
