Israel's largest medical centre and healthcare workers from hospitals around the country have spoken out against remarks by allies of Benjamin Netanyahu calling for a law to allow discrimination against LGBTQ people in hospitals and businesses... Two Netanyahu allies from the ultranationalist Religious Zionism party said their faction seeks to change an anti-discrimination law in a way that would permit businesses and doctors to deny service to LGBTQ people on the basis of religious belief. Orit Struck, a Religious Zionist lawmaker, seeks a change to the country's anti-discrimination law that would allow religious healthcare providers to refuse to treat LGBTQ...

As countries all around the world are seeing soaring rates of heart attacks and sudden deaths in the past two years, “experts” are now claiming that artificial sweeteners are to blame. A new study claims that artificial sweeteners may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease and “should not be considered a healthy and safe replacement to sugar.” The study, which was published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ), analyzed information on more than 100,000 people in France. “103,388 participants of the web-based NutriNet-Santé cohort,” the study stated. “Dietary intakes and consumption of artificial sweeteners were assessed by repeated 24 h...

Well, here's the medical facts that entirely explain why people with more shots get more covid. I've been paying attention to this possibility for a while but until the study work came out that proved it all there was is speculation. ADE ("Antibody dependent enhancement") is a fairly poorly-understood thing; most people believe it is confined to making a particular infection more serious than it would otherwise be. Of course having it occur when it otherwise would not fits that quite-nicely, but isn't what people tend to think about. Now, unfortunately, we have the evidence. Here's the salient graph and...

NEW ORLEANS — For the last two years, Democrats in battleground states have played defense against Republican efforts to curtail voting access and amplify doubts about the legitimacy of the nation’s elections. Now it is Democrats, who retained all but one of the governor’s offices they hold and won control of state legislatures in Michigan and Minnesota, who are ready to go on offense in 2023. They are putting forward a long list of proposals that include creating automatic voter registration systems, preregistering teenagers to vote before they turn 18, returning the franchise to felons released from prison and criminalizing...

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused Ukraine and its western allies of trying to destroy his country late Monday night, demanding Kyiv accept Moscow’s prescription for ending the war or be “eliminated” on the battlefield. Reuters reports Lavrov’s comments came against a backdrop of continued heavy fighting in eastern Ukraine and followed Russian President Vladimir Putin hinting he was open to negotiations, but only on Moscow’s terms. Putin said on Sunday the Kremlin was “ready to negotiate with everyone involved about acceptable solutions” while blaming Kyiv for the lack of diplomatic progress so far.

IN THE LAST few years, CJ Strock, a talent agent who worked with the later incarnation of the Allman Brothers Band, faced an unusual dilemma. As seen in catalog and merch sales, a market still existed for the Allmans, their quintessentially Southern rock & roll, and their improvisational live shows, but the band itself didn’t exist: They formally gave their last performances in 2014, and Gregg Allman died of liver cancer three years later. With an eye toward introducing new fans to the band, Strock had an idea — essentially a new Allmans... Thus was born “The Allman Brothers Band...

Happy Festivus! How is 2022 already coming to a close? What a year it’s been. It’s safe to say that some big changes have occurred since last year’s Festivus Report. Last Festivus, we lamented over the national debt reaching an astronomical $28.4 trillion. Shockingly, in one short year, the career politicians and bureaucrats in Washington have managed to breeze right past $30 trillion without so much as a second thought. The debt has risen so rapidly that the Congressional Budget Office projects that, within the next 30 years, there is not a single year in which the federal budget will...

The latest installment of the Twitter Files dropped on Monday afternoon, this time showing how the federal government pressured the social media platform to censor information that was contradictory to the government narrative on COVID-19. The new files show top doctors from the best medical schools in the country were censored. But the government pressure on Twitter goes beyond attempting to push a single narrative. It's a blatant violation of the First Amendment. More specifically, President Joe Biden was "angry" Twitter wasn't doing more to crack down on speech that was critical of his office and policies. Biden's directive to...

When the bureau’s own former general counsel calls the FBI’s conduct ‘odd,’ it’s clear who’s discrediting the agency: It isn’t conspiracy theorists — it’s the FBI. ********************************************************** Emails released on Saturday as part of the latest dump of the “Twitter Files” reveal that the week before the 2020 presidential election, the FBI field office investigating Hunter Biden sent multiple censorship requests to Twitter — so many in fact, a top attorney for the tech giant found it “odd.” This blockbuster detail from the weekend came mere days after the FBI issued a statement framing coverage of the “Twitter Files” as...

Florian Hartung and Dirk Pohlmann have reconstructed a previously unknown dimension of the collaboration between Nazis and the CIA in the Cold War. Drawing upon recently released documents, the film exposes for the first time a perfidious, worldwide net that reaches deep into the power structures of the Federal Republic of Germany. Lending their authority to the fact-finders’ mission are high-ranking statesmen, journalists and historians.

A massive 10-inch blood clot was removed from a live person who had received a Covid-19 vaccine. The startling discovery was reported Christmas Day by renowned entrepreneur Steve Kirsch, who indicated the specimen was sent to a lab for further research. “10” clot removed from LIVE person who was vaxxed,” Kirsch wrote on Twitter, asking, “Anyone ever seen this before vax rolled out??” In a subsequent update, Kirsch noted the 10-inch long blood clot was “Sent for analysis and SILENCE.” “I would love to know what the pathology lab thought of that monster,” commented one Twitter user. “As in… what...

Amid an ongoing labor crisis, with businesses across the country continually struggling to fill open worker slots, two economists say part of the problem may stem from roughly a quarter of all U.S. states paying citizens sky-high unemployment benefits that sharply disincentivize working. The report, published this month by the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, points to a rash of state-level policies that offer generous payouts for workers who are currently unemployed. The writers — University of Chicago economics Professor Casey Mulligan and Heritage Foundation economics research fellow EJ Antoni — argue in the paper that in 14 states, "unemployment benefits...

.... may you be forced to live outdoors in -20F weather as just punishment for what you have imposed on others, and which you claimed would not result in us having what amounts to a third-world electrical system when under stress. These idiots keep think the laws of thermodynamics don't apply to "special people." Sorry, they apply to everyone, all the time, every time, and there is nothing you can do about it. The facts are: In the winter the time of worst possible load for any electrical based heat system is before the sun contributes anything in the early morning...

Rebel Perfidy--An Outrage in the Case of a National Surgeon--Gen. Meade Assigned to the Command of the Fifth Army Corps --Christmas Goodies.CENTRE GRAND DIVISION, ARMY OF THE POTOMAC Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1862. Another instance of rebel perfidy has recently come to notice. The circumstances connected with the case are of such a nature that the Government should feel bound to demand an immediate explanation, and unless it be clearly shown that a breach of orders has been committed, retaliatory measures should at once be instituted. Surgeon N.A. HERSOM, of the Twentieth Maine Regiment, having crossed the river to Fredericksburgh on...

FAEST OF ST.. JOHN John 20:1a, John 20:2-8 Friends, on this feast of St. John, our Gospel tells of his coming to faith in the Resurrection when he saw the empty tomb. From this grave of Jesus, we learn that everything we took to be the case is not the case; that what always moved this way, now moves that way.God has shown us his power over death in the most unambiguous way; our lives should not be dominated by the fear of death, and we see the proof of this in the most vivid way imaginable. Some people think that they...

Loudoun County parents are speaking out against a resident’s petition that calls to ban hate speech from school board meetings following a school board meeting in which parents lambasted school officials over their handling of a sexual assault case. The petition, signed by several hundred county residents and started by 19-year-old Andrew Pihonak, a Loudoun County resident and member of the LGTBTQ community, calls to “ban hate speech in Loudoun School Board meetings” after a man called homosexuality “immoral” and quoted a violent Bible verse during the public comment period of the Dec. 13 board meeting. Parents present at the...
