The weekend mass shooting at the Colorado Springs gay bar has reignited the debate over whether anti-LGBTQ political rhetoric encourages such attacks or otherwise helps create a hostile environment given the widespread access to high-powered weapons used in similar assaults. "This comes amidst a rise of violent rhetoric and threats against the LGBTQ+ people across the country. What we don't know yet -- while we don't know yet for certain the motive of this attack, hate has no place in this country, and neither do military style assault rifles, which is why we will continue to push for an assault...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

You know what my favorite thing about conspiracy theories is? When they come true. And sure, I hear ya, us righties knew the Hunter Biden laptop story was real right when the story broke, but let me remind you of what the corporate left-wing media fed their audience once they got their memo from the totally trustworthy CIA and FBI: VIDEO AT LINK...................... "A Russian intelligence disinformation campaign." Just out-of-control comical! These people lied on purpose, and now, after more than two years, they're finally dropping the story. And boy, oh boy, is the Biden Crime Family in some big...

President Biden on Wednesday mourned the victims of a shooting inside a Walmart in Chesapeake, Va., noting it took place during the week of Thanksgiving. Six people were killed when a gunman, who was an employee of the Walmart, opened fire on Tuesday night. The gunman also died from a self-inflicted gunshot. “Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, one of our most cherished holidays that brings us together as Americans and as families, when we hug our loved ones and count our blessings,” Biden said in a statement. “But because of yet another horrific and senseless act of violence, there are now even...

Searchers have located the wrecks of five B-24 bombers that crashed into the Adriatic Sea during World War II, three of which are associated with 23 still-missing crew members. The search mission – conducted over a two-week period in August off the coast of Croatia – was a partnership between Project Recover and the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. It was the culmination of a lengthy process of researching military records and obtaining needed permits from Croatia, Mark Moline, the mission leader and a cofounder of Project Recover, said in a phone interview Thursday. Along with the B-17, the B-24 Liberator...

There was much liberal gnashing of teeth when Donald Trump appointed Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. Libs feared that those Justices would do Donald Trump's bidding without question. But it hasn't turned out that way, as underlined in the brief, unanimous decision just issued by the Court clearing the way for the IRS to turn over Trump's tax returns to the Democrat-controlled House. In reaction, Joe Scarborough went on a long spiel on today's Morning Joe, hailing the Court's conservative Justices. Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

...Last spring, Manning realized he could solve the problem by looking elsewhere -- hundreds of kilometers away from Thera -- to regions of the Aegean Sea that experienced the tsunami effects caused by the eruption. Manning incorporated dates obtained for these episodes into his model to test for, and discount, the volcanic carbon dioxide caveat. On Thera itself, he also spotted the importance of a short but clearly observed gap in time between the abandonment of the town at Akrotiri and the huge eruption, and he incorporated this previously overlooked constraint into the modeling....

Are you a Russian opposed to Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine? The Central Intelligence Agency wants you! “We’re looking around the world for Russians who are as disgusted with that as we are,” David Marlowe, the CIA’s deputy director of operations, told an audience during a recent discussion at George Mason University’s Hayden Center. “Because we’re open for business.” In his first public remarks since his appointment last year, Marlowe said that Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has been an abject failure and that Western intelligence services should make the most of it by enlisting agents from among Russians fed up...

The White House on Wednesday distributed leftist talking points for predictably insufferable supporters of President Joe Biden to use for attacking Republicans during Thanksgiving family gatherings. The list of talking points was shared by White House chief of staff Ronald Klain on social media. “One last item for your Thanksgiving dinner: some talking points when ‘that Uncle’ comes ‘at you’ about the president,” he wrote on Twitter. I try not to jump on stories the foundations of which I am uncertain, but the left has no such constraints. So consumed with hate, the left-wing media seized upon the tragic shooting in Club Q in Colorado Springs and it could not resist blaming anyone and everyone on the right. NBC reporter Brandy Zadronzy blamed "Q Anon."“The LGBT community has always been a subject of hatred for a certain brand of fringe kind of person, right? But something happened in March and April of this year,” Zadronzy told MSNBC host Chris Jansing. “In March and April of this year,...

Core Scientific (CORZ), the world's largest publicly listed miner by computing power, ended October with $32.2 million in cash and 62 BTC ($975,000) and reiterated that it may run out of money before the end of the year. The company first warned of bankruptcy risk about a month ago, sending its shares plummeting about 80% on Nasdaq. The miner had 1,051 BTC and $29.5 million in cash at the end of September. Core Scientific is one of several miners struggling to keep afloat as rising energy prices increase costs, and a stubbornly low bitcoin price slashes revenue. Compute North filed...

* FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried and Ryan Salame pumped millions into super PACs and campaigns. * The company could deem the gifts "fraudulent transfers" and sue for refunds. It's happened before. * It's also possible the money is gone. "You can't get blood from a turnip," an election lawyer said. … But in bankruptcy, nothing is sacred. The same politicians and groups that happily received FTX's donations and welcomed SBF as an influencer in Washington, including Democratic PACs like the House Majority PAC and Women Vote and lawmakers like Debbie Stabenow, could soon find themselves forced to return those funds —...

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R), who just won reelection by nearly 8 percentage points, has cut a new ad for Senate candidate Herschel Walker that will begin airing throughout his state on Thanksgiving Day. The ad is part of a $14.2 million television, radio and digital advertising campaign funded by the Senate Leadership Fund, a super PAC linked to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), seeking to boost Walker after his race against Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) went to a Dec. 6 runoff.

Earlier this year, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis warned that Democrats would re-impose mask mandates after the midterm elections if there was a winter Covid-19 spike. In the leadup to the midterms, Democrats denied that they ever supported lockdowns or an authoritarian response to Covid-19. Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist accused DeSantis of being a ‘Lockdown Governor’ after he briefly joined most of the country to lock down the state, but opened it up faster than most states. Now, just two weeks after the midterms, the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is recommending that state government’s ‘encourage’...

Celebrated filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is facing criticism for candid comments he made about actors in Marvel movies not being legitimate stars. [snip] “I don’t love them,” Tarantino said of Marvel films. “No, I don’t. I don’t hate them. But I don’t love them. I mean, look, I used to collect Marvel comics like crazy when I was a kid.” “There’s an aspect that if these movies were coming out when I was in my twenties, I would totally be f***king happy and totally love them. [But] they wouldn’t be the only movies being made, they would be those movies amongst...
