Earlier this year, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis warned that Democrats would re-impose mask mandates after the midterm elections if there was a winter Covid-19 spike.
In the leadup to the midterms, Democrats denied that they ever supported lockdowns or an authoritarian response to Covid-19.
Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist accused DeSantis of being a ‘Lockdown Governor’ after he briefly joined most of the country to lock down the state, but opened it up faster than most states.
Now, just two weeks after the midterms, the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is recommending that state government’s ‘encourage’ or ‘mandate’ masks to prevent ‘long COVID’.
Already, liberal cities have started ‘strongly recommending’ that people mask up again, including Los Angeles.
A report from the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department is recommending that government officials “encourage or mandate” masking to fight against “long COVID,” conveniently after the completion of the midterm elections.
The HHS report details policies to combat the Chinese coronavirus, which has now been around for almost three years. One of the recommendations includes the reintroduction of masking, contending that it will assist those suffering from lingering effects from their infection.
“The lifting of mask mandates and indifferent attitude toward masking and social distancing typical in many public and private places further isolates people with Long COVID,” the report stated, recommending those in government “encourage or mandate policies and protocols regarding masking and social distancing in public spaces.”
This recommendation follows the conclusion of the midterm elections and comes months after President Biden declared the pandemic “over.”

Wearing a mask has no effect on transmission of a respiratory virus. If you think it does, you’re only fooling — and perhaps endangering — yourself. A mask stored in the spare tire compartment of your car provides precisely the same level of protection from a respiratory virus as does actually wearing it.

I noticed a new wave of masking at the grocery store. About 6 people out of 150 were sporting their ‘protection’.
Brandon can stumble around with his nasty, bacteria-laden mask on all he wants. His little followers can do the same. (I kind of like that they self-identify like that.)
As for me and mine, we will breathe freely.

I cannot make any sense out of how masking is supposed to help long covid? It is insane emotional non scientific bs made up by whiners who want others to be as miserable as they are.
