Donald Trump voiced his opposition to biological men competing in women’s sports during his Tuesday Presidential announcement at Mar-a-Lago.“We will not let men, as an example, participate in women’s sports,” Trump said to thunderous applause. “Is that okay? No men, no men! My people tell me, ‘Sir, that’s politically incorrect to say,’ I said ‘that’s okay I will say it anyways if you do not mind.'”Trump continued “we have had tremendous, tremendous problems. And you know, it is very unfair to women, just very, very unfair.”Trump went on to defend the family as the nucleus of society, saying, “We will...

The troubling wave of heart ailments in otherwise young and healthy COVID "vaccine" recipients is finally drawing legacy media attention — albeit limited and supportive of Big Pharma. Just two days ago, Selwyn Duke wrote on these pages of his personal encounters with victims of strange early deaths, and of some of the statistical data. Now, NBC News, reliably supportive of the progressive ruling establishment, is acknowledging what previously was suppressed, in an article titled "Myocarditis after Covid vaccination: Research on possible long-term risks underway." Lest any Big Pharma executives get heartburn, the sub-headline reads, "Both Pfizer and Moderna are...

Remedial classes have been standard practice at community colleges since about the 1980s. The original intent of these not-for-credit courses was to protect underperforming students from failing actual college classes. Remedial courses gave such students the extra support they needed to eventually take those classes—and succeed in obtaining a degree. However, in recent years there has been some debate over the effectiveness of remedial courses. This culminated when Governor Gavin Newsom of California signed a bill severely limiting the ability of community colleges to place students into such classes. Colleges cannot now mandate remedial courses for academically underprepared students except...

Many different species of phytoplankton are photosynthetic: They require sunlight to generate energy. When the ocean freezes over, less light can penetrate to the surface where they typically thrive. Scientists have been studying when and where the tiny organisms begin to flourish and have noted this typically occurs when the sea ice retreats. In recent years, work at the opposite end of the world, in the Arctic, has suggested masses of phytoplankton (or "blooms") can and do survive under sea ice in darker, low light conditions. [S]cientists collected data from 51 floating laboratories ("floats") deployed between 2014 and 2021. The...

The mainstream press doubled down on its efforts to paint former President Donald Trump as a threat to democracy after he announced his 2024 presidential bid Tuesday night, setting the stage for another slugfest between the corporate media establishment and the business magnate-turned-politician they love to hate. For years, prominent media outlets have portrayed Trump as an authoritarian danger to the country, especially since the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Many of the same journalists echoed that sentiment while covering Trump's campaign launch.NPR, for example, tweeted, "Donald Trump, who tried to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election and inspired a...

Friday of Thirty-third Week in Ordinary TimeLuke 19:45–48 Friends, in today’s Gospel, we see Jesus cleansing the temple. What did it mean for a provincial prophet to come into the holy city of Jerusalem and make a ruckus in the temple? Well, you can probably imagine. To make matters worse, Jesus says something that is as shocking as his actions. He says, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” No wonder it was precisely this act that led to his crucifixion. So what was he doing and why? First, in showing his lordship over even this...

A Tesla burst into flames on a Pennsylvania highway late Tuesday morning, burning so hot as to only be recognizable by its rims, firefighters said. Multiple fire departments were dispatched to a vehicle fire at Mile Marker 137 on Interstate 80 Westbound in Cooper Township just before 11 a.m. Tuesday. The daughter of the couple driving the car told WTAJ they were driving their Tesla Model S when a "large piece of debris" went underneath the car, causing it to begin to smoke. The couple, identified as "Michelle and Bob," pulled over and got out of their car. Neither were...

Trump's efforts to secure our borders, project strength across the globe, expand economic opportunity, & protect our freedoms put our nation back on track. I am proud to endorse his campaign...

As I mentioned on Varney and Company on Fox Business, housing is going to suffer when The Fed starts to tighten their monetary policy. And here we are, folks! US existing home sales fell a staggering -28.43% YoY in October as M2 Money growth grinds to almost a halt. The median price of existing home sales slowed to 6.6% YoY. Inventory of EHS remains below pre-Covid levels. Unrelated to housing, Prince Imhotep (Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari) said Friday that the whole idea of cryptocurrency is “nonsense” after the implosion of FTX revealed the industry’s shortcomings. “This...

Archbishop Viganò on Civitas Dei and civitas diaboli in contemporary societyBeatus populus, cujus Dominus Deus ejus. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. - Ps 143:15 In a world that has made democracy its founding value and revolution its supreme ideological principle, it is difficult to understand how our ancestors lived before Freemasonry decided to overthrow the Italic Kingdoms through the uprisings of the Risorgimento and the revolts organized by the Carbonari and secret societies. And it is even more difficult, for us who live in a secularized world in which even Religion is made profane by its...

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) announced on Friday that he will not run for Louisiana governor in 2023, saying that he would instead seek to advance a series of longtime legislative priorities in the Senate. “When I was elected to the United States Senate, I was given a job to represent the people of Louisiana and serve the United States of America,” Cassidy said in a statement. “For the last several years, I have been working on specific legislation that is critical for the future of our state and country. I don’t know if these solutions will pass, but I know...

Disney Announced Hiring Freeze and Layoffs as Cost-Cutting Measure. Why?: Disney Resorts may be known as the “Happiest Place on Earth,” while Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is the “Most Magical Place On Earth.” However, the magic could soon disappear for workers while many others might not have much to be all that happy about as the Mouse House announced plans to institute a targeted hiring freeze, along with some job cuts.

Republican Representative James Comer, the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, said during a press conference that the probe looked at Hunter Biden's business dealings and Joe Biden's alleged involvement in them. At one point, he alleged that one Suspicious Activity Report (SAR), a type of document that banks have to file with the Treasury Department, "connects Hunter Biden and his business associates to international human trafficking, among other illegal activities." "The SAR shows that Hunter Biden was conducting business with suspected human traffickers," Comer said. "The money gained through influence peddling was funneled to a...

(Daily readings from the USCCB)Jesus entered the temple area and proceeded to drive out those who were selling things, saying to them, “It is written, My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.” Luke 19:45-46This passage reveals not only something that Jesus did long ago, it also reveals something that He desires to do today. Additionally, He desires to do this in two ways: He desires to root out all evil within the temple of our world, and He desires to root out all evil in the temple of our hearts.In...

Likely very woke — yet the organization that helps oversee medical schools thinks it’s not woke enough. So says the Association of American Medical Colleges, which last week released the first-ever analysis of the extent to which “diversity, equity and inclusion” have infected the institutions training future physicians. I’ve covered this trend for years, but even I didn’t realize just how much patients should worry about the decline in standards and, in time, the quality of their own care. The AAMC surveyed 101 institutions, representing almost two-thirds of American medical schools (two are in Canada), asking for audits of their...

The Turtle, Mitch McConnell, is perhaps the most unpopular American politician in the country at present. Yet, he won the job of Republican Senate leader 37-10 with one abstention. This RINO won, and won big, despite sabotaging Republican chances in AZ and AK, NH, and probably somewhere else that I am missing. How did he do that? Many have noted that the Turtle controls the money for Republican Senate candidates. That is the simple answer. Well, Trump also controls large sums of political money. Trump is more than capable of supporting MAGA Senate candidates, and holding rallies, which may be...

Perhaps the most intriguing passage in all of St. Paul’s writings is his description of an inner struggle in Romans 7. “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.” (Romans 7:18-20)...
