Donald Trump voiced his opposition to biological men competing in women’s sports during his Tuesday Presidential announcement at Mar-a-Lago.
“We will not let men, as an example, participate in women’s sports,” Trump said to thunderous applause. “Is that okay? No men, no men! My people tell me, ‘Sir, that’s politically incorrect to say,’ I said ‘that’s okay I will say it anyways if you do not mind.'”
Trump continued “we have had tremendous, tremendous problems. And you know, it is very unfair to women, just very, very unfair.”
Trump went on to defend the family as the nucleus of society, saying, “We will defend the rights of parents and we will defend the family as the center of American life. But who would think, standing up here ten years ago, fifteen years ago, that a politician — and I do not like to think of myself as a politician, but I guess that’s what I am. I hate that thought.” Trump added.
“But that a politician would be up, saying ‘we will defend parental rights.’ Of course you are going to defend it. Who would think we would even have to mention this. Who would think it would even have to be a subject to be talked about. We have to defend parental rights. Can you believe this?”
Trump has voiced his opposition to biological men competing in women’s sports for some time. Indeed, his administration supported Idaho’s ban on transgender participation in women’s sports in 2020.
As PBS reports:
“A recently passed Idaho law banning transgender women from competing in women’s sports — the first such law in the nation — received backing on Friday from the administration of President Donald Trump.
The support came in the form of a court filing submitted by the U.S. Department of Justice, saying a federal judge considering a lawsuit challenging the ban should conclude that the law does not violate the U.S. Constitution.”
The American people support these measures. While we all sympathize with those who have a discontinuity in their physical and mental life, we cannot destroy women’s sports as a result.
I agree. Women shouldn’t have to compete with hairy sideburns and goatees.
Unless its the WNBA.
Here in Texas they allow child mutilation because Abbott is a fraud. That’s a bigger issue than sports.
“Donald Trump voiced his opposition to biological men competing in women’s sports...”
I agree with Trump, as do most normal people.
BUT Donald needs to control his mouth/Twitter and not say something stupid ... as he usually does.
How about beauty contests?
Is Trump a biologist?
Men who think they are women should be put into mental hospitals until such a time that they cured or their madness instead of walking around in public. They are a danger to themselves
“politically incorrect” is what real, normal America loving Americans say all the time...We don’t care what the elite politicians think about what we say...We say what we feel and know is correct...
Are you okay with women in men’s sports?
Most of what he says is the way most normal Americans feel...He doesn’t use “politispeak”...He uses down to earth honest feelings when he speaks, IMO...
Women compete against women and men compete against men...PERIOD....
“ I said ‘that’s okay I will say it anyways if you do not mind.’”
I’ll say it if they do mind. Somebody has to say it 🤪
And America’s State Department shouldn’t be running around the world to jam the homo agenda down people’s throats.
Trump is right, and America has become run by the mentally ill.
What’s wrong with an open division, where everyone competes on an even basis?
And perverse fag flags all over state department buildings including international
The situation gets dicey when you deal with Intersex athletes who were born with a genetic problem
there is an interesting claim on the Texags site about Griner when she was in high school. I find it a little hard to believe that this would have happened:
https://texags.com/forums/16/topics/3297592
Griner’s sophomore year of high school, an email went out to all of the athletic directors in the district explaining they had a hermaphrodite at a school who wanted to play on the girl’s basketball team. If any coach or athletic director objected, she’d be barred from playing. No athletic director objected because who cares about women’s high school basketball? That player was Brittney Griner. A year or so after Griner left Baylor (she did not graduate), I happened to be talking to one of those athletic directors who was now in a different town and district and he told me the story.
Women are equal, they have told me so a thousand times.
No reason for sex separate sports…
