(The Center Square) – A lawsuit in Wisconsin challenges President Joe Biden’s plan to cancel student loans. The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty on Tuesday filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Brown County Taxpayer Association that argues the president overstepped his powers with his order that could cost over $1 trillion. “The problem is, for purposes of this lawsuit, that President Biden created this program unilaterally and without any legal authority from Congress. That’s not how lawmaking works in America, at least since the signing of the Declaration of Independence,” WILL’s lawsuit reads. WILL is asking for a...

In this woke era of ours people get fired all the time for what they say. This is considered a good thing on the left. But now Governor Gavin Newsom has signed legislation to insure that rappers’ words can’t be held against them in criminal proceedings, making California the first state in the nation to adopt such a law, which is also being pushed on the federal level.

WASHINGTON, Saturday, Oct. 4. We have the story brought in by deserters, that LEE is making every preparation to retreat as soon as appearances convince him of MCCLELLAN's intention to make an immediate attack. The rebel cavalry made a reconnoissance into Leesburgh yesterday, but it is not understood that they made any attempt to hold the place. PHILADELPHIA, Saturday, Oct. 4. The second edition of the Washington Star contains the following; "Deserters and prisoners coming within our lines at Harper's Ferry in the last forty-eight hours seem to agree that Gen. LEE is now making every preparation to retreat with...

A gay couple in New York is suing the Big Apple government because, under the city’s current insurance policy, they did not qualify for fertility treatments such as in vitro fertilization and surrogacy. Corey Briskin, a former assistant district attorney for the City of New York, and Nicholas Maggipinto claim they have a right to parenthood even though their biology together doesn’t allow for it…

WASHINGTON — The Secret Service says it checked again and still can’t find any records that identify visitors to President Biden’s Delaware residences — where he has spent roughly one-fourth of his presidency — outraging Republicans and prompting one congressman to say “the stonewalling and gaslighting must stop.” The agency made the baffling claim in its denial of a Freedom of Information Act appeal from The Post. Secret Service deputy director Faron Paramore wrote in a letter dated Sept. 27 that “the agency conducted an additional search of relevant program offices for potentially responsive records.” “This search also produced no...

As Vladimir Putin signed laws Wednesday formally declaring a huge swath of Ukraine part of Russia, his ambassador in Washington called the United States' plan to provide Ukraine with an additional $625 million in military aid an "immediate threat" to Russia's strategic interests. The ambassador said the ongoing provision of heavy weapons to Ukraine had cemented "Washington's status as a participant in the conflict." The latest American military aid package for Ukraine, announced Tuesday, includes additional "HIMARS" advanced rocket systems — weapons credited with helping the country gain momentum against Russia's occupying forces — as well as other artillery systems,...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is leading Democrat Charlie Crist by 11 points in race for the governor’s mansion in the Sunshine State, according to a poll released on Wednesday. The Mason-Dixon Florida poll found that 52 percent of likely voters supported DeSantis, compared to the 41 percent that backed Crist, a former governor and U.S. representative. DeSantis also had stronger support from his own party, with 92 percent of Republicans saying they would back the incumbent governor. Fewer Democrats, 84 percent, said they would support Crist, who was a Republican when he last served as governor.

Three major medical associations on Monday asked Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate and prosecute people who are allegedly threatening, coordinating or provoking violence against children’s hospitals across the nation that provide irreversible sex change procedures on minors, including puberty blockers, chemical castration, and surgical amputations. In addition to siccing the Justice Department on their detractors, the groups said they have also pressured social media platforms to censor “high profile users” who “share false and misleading information.” The increasingly woke American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American Medical Association (AMA) and the Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) wrote to Garland on Monday,...

Retired U.S. Naval lieutenant Tony Bobulinski is the former CEO of SinoHawk Holdings. And for a long time, he has said there was a partnership between the Biden family and a Chinese energy firm. He gave an exclusive interview on Tuesday night on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” Before the 2020 election, Bobulinski said he met with President Biden many times and discussed Hunter’s business ventures. “There are hundreds of data points that Joe Biden was acting in – in a capitalistic term, I would say the chairman,” Bobulinski told host Tucker Carlson. Bobulinski added, “The chairman is the figurehead…effectively that was...

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dodged answering a question during Tuesday’s press briefing on the matter of President Joe Biden praising a group of Coast Guard rescue swimmers that included a guardsman who could face termination because he has not received a COVID vaccine. Biden personally thanked a Coast Guardsman for saving a 94-year-old woman in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, but the hero expects to be fired within days for rejecting the COVID vaccine, The Daily Wire reported. Aviation Survival Technician Second Class Zach Loesch earned praise in a Friday phone call from the commander in chief for...

For months, Americans lived in fear about contracting COVID-19, hearing stories about infected patients ending up on ventilators in hospitals while constantly being told that getting vaccinated would prevent such a situation and contraction of the disease itself. From mandatory lockdowns and students forced to navigate the challenges of virtual school to businesses shut down and controversial vaccine mandates, the pandemic permeated our lives. Now, as the dust has settled, more physicians and nurses have come forward to speak about the unethical and erroneous treatment protocols that occurred–and are still occurring–inside hospitals. Despite differing experiences and roles, these healthcare professionals...

The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you people say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

Jesus is not in the drafting business; his army is all volunteer. You can be a believer without carrying a cross, but you cannot be a disciple. I see many believers have opted for the good life with its prosperity, material gain, popularity and success. I’m sure that many of them will make it to heaven. They will have saved their skins, but they will not have learned Christ. Having rejected the suffering and sorrow of true discipleship, they will not have the capacity to know and enjoy him in eternity. This is opposed to all the saints who have...
