In this woke era of ours people get fired all the time for what they say. This is considered a good thing on the left.
But now Governor Gavin Newsom has signed legislation to insure that rappers’ words can’t be held against them in criminal proceedings, making California the first state in the nation to adopt such a law, which is also being pushed on the federal level.

So if you admit to committing a crime, but sing it instead of saying it, you are good to go.
Democrats keep on decriminalizing crime - how is that working out for them?
In other words:
In California there is a New Law signed by the Governor that a CONFESSION to a crime can NOT be used against you in a court of law anymore.
Rap is for f’n morons.
Is that the kind of free speech they are talking about?
Or,did I commit a hate crime subject to being beat to within a inch of my life?
Its probably got a higher rate of death than any other occupation - even coal-mining in Borneo in the late 19th century.
I cannot understand the words. I watch everything with CC. New Year’s Eve programs on several stations. I knew none of the performers. When the rappers performed my CC was blank.
Is Michael Brown on that list?
But free speech isn’t protected in the use of pronouns. Amazing.
The problem seems to take care of itself eventually
“making California the first state in the nation to adopt such a law, which is also being pushed on the federal level.”
And this is a problem with laws from Ca. Constitutional or not, illogical or not, they are next forced on the whole country.
Rapper Speech Protected by Law... Ain’t it ironic.....
I’m trying to figure this out.
A dark pigmented person is allowed to ‘sing’ and the words are not only protected speech, but cannot not be used as evidence against them.
As a light pigmented person, I cannot even sing these words. Even mouthing the words as a dark pigmented person sings them does not protect me from being rightfully assaulted by someone offended by my actions.
How is that working out for them? Pretty damn good. In case you haven't noticed, they control the Presidency, the House, the Senate, and a lot of state legislatures and governorships. And almost all big city mayors, police chiefs, and fire chiefs are Democrats.
It's for the rest of us that it's not working out well.
Trump should have made his January 6, 2021 address into syncopated rhyme and verse.
alrighty then...lol
:: rightfully assaulted by someone offended ::
This does NOT exist.
Unless (You) allow it in your life.
Here is a list of rappers murdered through 2020.

You would think the music industry would take the hint that PEOPLE HATE RAP.
The Blacks are performing nicely under the Democratic Plan. Kill each other off, stay on the Government t*t, ALWAYS vote Democratic, and allow a few ‘privileged Blacks to exploit the rest of their own race and be rewarded for keeping them in line and fomenting dissent against white folks. That has always been the plan. And it is working well for the Democrats. And then, there are a few “Blacks who have figured it out and are rebelling against the Democrats while they get off of the Democratic Plantation. DNC - PARTY OF RACISM AND CHAOS.
So, if you kill someone, rap it and those words cannot be used against you in California. Nice.
