Today's military leaders fail to see what will have the worst impact on military recruiting for years to come. During my last few years in the military before I retired in 2020, it was common to hear that "the military-civilian divide is a problem that is getting worse." Whenever I heard this, it was always in the context that this divide was America's problem. "The American public doesn't understand the military," or "their kids aren't fit to properly support the military." There never seemed to be any reflection from the military. But the military has a serious problem with recruiting...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMatthew 6 Prayer 5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be...

The airwaves are full of the latest “kill shot” on Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka. In this ad, the Senate Majority Leadership Fund, run by Senate Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell, makes it appear that Tshibaka actually confesses to committing fraud when she was employed by the federal government. It’s a lie, but this is McConnell’s attempt to prop up Sen. Lisa Murkowski, and this is after all, October, the witching month when the worst of the political ads hit the airwaves. McConnell has gone against the Alaska Republican Party, which endorsed Thsibaka over 18 months ago, censured Murkowski, and asked...

Three major American medical institutions wrote a letter to the Biden administration this week urging it to go after major figures online who are promoting content that exposes some of the radical gender surgeries that are being offered at some places across the country. The American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Children’s Hospital Association all signed the letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, urging the administration to “investigate the organizations, individuals, and entities” that it claimed were “coordinating” and “provoking” outrage online directed at those providing the controversial services. “From Boston to Akron to Nashville to Seattle,...

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, said on Monday he was sending three of his teenage sons -- aged 14, 15 and 16 -- to the Ukraine front. "It's time to prove themselves in a real fight, I can only welcome this desire," Mr Kadyrov wrote on Telegram, posting a video of the young boys firing missiles in a shooting range. He said Akhmat (16), Eli (15) and Adam (14) have been trained for combat "almost from their youngest years" and insisted he was "not joking". The video showed the boys in camouflage clothing and...

FT MYERS, FL — In a desperate attempt to get help for its citizens and deal with the growing humanitarian crisis in the area, a Florida town devastated by Hurricane Ian has taken the unusual step of raising the Ukrainian flag, hoping to convince Congress to send aid. "The Ukrainian government flies this flag, and they're just swimming in billions and billions of dollars in support from the United States. We're just swimming in sewage," said Ray Valdivia, the Response Coordinator working to assess the damage in the town. "We tried going through the normal channels to get help from...

Charlie Kirk talks with John Solomon about the bombshell story of government-directed censorship during Election 2020 e Charlie Kirk: While I was getting ready to speak at the great Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, Producer Andrew was emailing me and texting me about the story that came out on the terrific website, justthenews.com. And I couldn’t quite process it in time. And then I had a chance to read it and the weekend happened and I saw Sean Hannity did a segment on this with John Solomon. And essentially, it turns out new documents show that there is a censorship machine...

SEOUL, Oct 5 (Reuters) - South Korea and the U.S. military conducted rare missile drills and an American supercarrier repositioned east of North Korea after Pyongyang flew a missile over Japan, one of the allies' sharpest responses since 2017 to a North Korean weapon test. Nuclear-armed North Korea test-fired an intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) farther than ever before on Tuesday, sending it soaring over Japan for the first time in five years and prompting a warning for residents there to take cover. The White House National Security Council called North Korea's latest test "dangerous and reckless" and the U.S. military...

The federal government has announced it will appeal the dismissal of its lawsuit against United States gun manufacturers. The government filed a US $10 billion lawsuit against gunmakers, including Smith & Wesson and Barrett Firearms in August 2021, accusing them of negligent business practices that have led to illegal arms trafficking and deaths in Mexico, where U.S.-sourced firearms are used in a majority of high-impact crimes. In a claim filed in Massachusetts, it alleged that the companies have undermined Mexican gun laws by designing, marketing and selling high-powered weapons that appeal to criminal organizations in Mexico. Chief Judge F. Dennis...

OPEC’s meeting this week takes place against a gloomy background: A global economic meltdown has caused oil prices to fall even as Russia’s war against Ukraine has made supplies more uncertain than ever. An expected production cut could combine with other factors to send prices sharply higher. In fact, it isn’t hard to see how oil could climb back to $100 even as the economy weakens. Oil prices rose on Monday, with Brent crude BRN00 –0.47% climbing to nearly $89 per barrel. Shares of oil companies also rose, with the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production XOP +5.24%...

The Biden administration has pledged to provide $1.5Bln 'a month to Kiev' to keep the Ukrainian economy afloat and is pushing the EU to commit to a similar package, Bloomberg has reported. "How will politicians explain that huge funds can be made available to Ukraine but not to support the EU citizens?" the strategic analyst said. "The attempt to justify such a choice, recalling the famous 'EU values', is dangerous because the EU Treaties never speak of 'values'. The risk is to ignite a series of 'EU exits'." Meanwhile, the EU is facing a severe economic slowdown, the Organisation for...

"He is running out of props... so he is grasping at whatever mirage might save him," University of Pitts, Prof. of Intern. Affairs Michael Brenner said "Thus, the idea of joining NATO." The fantasy that his Western masters would allow Ukraine to join NATO revealed the imaginary nature of the world Zelensky lived in, Brenner observed..... "Of course, it never will happen because it would mean all-out war with Russia. Even the lunatics in Washington are not that suicidal," he said. "He is at once script writer, director and central character. The worlds of fiction and actuality have merged in...
