Are you an early bird or a night owl? Our activity patterns and sleep cycles could influence our risk of diseases, such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease. New research has found that wake/sleep cycles cause metabolic differences and alter our body's preference for energy sources. The researchers found that those who stay up later have a reduced ability to use fat for energy, meaning fats may build up in the body and increase risk for type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The metabolic differences relate to how well each group can use insulin to promote glucose uptake by...

The soleus muscle in the calf, though only 1% of your body weight, can do big things to improve the metabolic health if activated correctly. Marc Hamilton has discovered an approach for optimal activation—he's pioneering the "soleus pushup" (SPU) which effectively elevates muscle metabolism for hours, even while one is sitting. The soleus is a posterior leg muscle that runs from just below the knee to the heel. Hamilton's research suggests the soleus pushup's ability to sustain an elevated oxidative metabolism to improve the regulation of blood glucose is more effective than any popular methods currently touted as a solution...

"I have decided to leave this district and continue school [at] a private Christian school online." "Some day I'm going to be a leader . . . and it's a shame that you are not going to be able say that I was an alumni [of this school]."

Billy Graham, the influential evangelist who died on Wednesday at the age of 99, used his charisma to spread the word of Christianity to millions worldwide. It also earned him friends among the world’s rich and powerful — even among royalty. Graham, the son of a North Carolina farmer, began his worldwide mission in London in the 1950s, and it was here that he met with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The pair developed an unlikely friendship, visiting one another multiple times over the following decades; on Easter Sunday 1995, Graham gave the sermon in the royal family’s private chapel,...

We’ve known for a long time the election systems are used to cheat. Kill Chain was popular on HBO long before the 2020 election where the numbers were screwed deliberately to steal the election for Biden. Democrats were very loud in their condemnation of the machines, the machines, the machines back when they didn’t like the result of elections. Many times hacking and security experts demonstrated how easy it would be to hack into a machine system and change votes. Yet, here, under oath, before Congress, we have Dominion heads lying about it. Let’s get rid of them. Use paper...

Hazmat teams with the Riverside County Fire Department were working to clear an unknown, caustic substance at a recycling center in the 2200 block of Via Cerro in Jurupa Valley. When first responders arrived, they found one person on the ground and were informed that the situation was a hazardous materials spill within the building. When hazmat teams made entry into the recycling center, they found a substance in the bottom of a container that tested positive for an unknown caustic material. “It probably off gassed as they opened it up and the gentleman was standing right there. So, he...

"Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." "And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath." "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." Revelation, Ch. 16 1 And I heard a great voice...

A Florida prosecutor suspended by Ron DeSantis for defying a new 15-week abortion law says a federal judge’s decision to send his reinstatement appeal to trial means a reckoning is coming for the state’s Republican governor. Andrew Warren, a Democrat, was removed as Hillsborough county state attorney on 4 August after saying he would not enforce the abortion ban or prosecute providers of gender transition treatment for young people. DeSantis cited Warren’s alleged “woke agenda” in reasons for his decision. At a hearing in Tallahassee on Monday, Judge Robert Hinkle denied motions from DeSantis to dismiss Warren’s lawsuit, and another...

Electronic Registration Information Center, boy, it sounded so good, and was sold to so many states as they solution to their problem of cleaning election registration databases. Sure. Dr. Anthony Fauci says shutting down schools during the COVID-19 pandemic was worthwhile. “I believe so for a number of reasons,” Fauci, the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a lockdown proponent, said on Sept. 22. Fauci said that people who note that many children do not suffer severe cases of COVID-19 disregard that “we still lost 1,400 children.” As of Aug. 20, only 722 deaths among children were determined to have COVID-19 as the underlying cause, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s WONDER database. Fauci also put forth the theory...

Yet another poll shows that the race for the U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania is close, where Democratic John Fetterman and Dr. Mehmet Oz, his Republican opponent, are running to replace retiring Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA). The race has been increasingly one worth paying attention, and likely will remain so. This latest poll comes from Muhlenberg College/Morning Call, where Fetterman is in the lead with 48 percent to Oz's 42 percent. The poll was conducted September 13-16, with 420 likely voters. That it had a margin of error of plus or minus 6 percentage points means Fetterman's lead is within...

Until now, all men who have sex with men have been required to undergo a three-month celibate waiting period before donating. Starting Sept. 11, Canadian Blood Services will screen donors based on sexual behaviour rather than sexual orientation. Under the new rules, all donors, regardless of gender, will be asked whether they've engaged in anal sex with new and/or multiple partners within the previous three months.

How many times have you heard it? The greatest threat to this country, aside from Republicans, is white supremacy (which also means Republicans, white, brown or black). Biden: "We won't ignore what our intelligence agencies have determined to be the most lethal terrorist threat to our homeland today: White supremacy is terrorism,"Mayorkas: The Department of Homeland Security has assessed that "the greatest terrorism-related threat that we face in the homeland is the threat of domestic violent extremism," (Mayorkas is on a crusade to eliminate white people in this country.) Garland: Attorney General Merrick Garland told Congress on Wednesday that violence...
