The race for control of the U.S. Senate is heading toward the home stretch and after almost all the primaries have been held, both Republicans and Democrats have a case to be made that they have a good shot at ending up with a majority of the upper chamber. Reading the tea leaves this election is especially difficult. Sabato’s Crystal Ball rates the battle for Senate control a tossup. Others think the Republicans have a one or two-seat edge. Even in a “red wave” election, winning the Senate is going to be an uphill battle for Republicans. Of the 35...

At least 7,700 such wallets are believed to be affected, the company said, while London-based blockchain-analysis firm Elliptic put the amount stolen at $5.2 million in crypto, which includes Solana tokens and the stablecoin known as USD Coin. The hack is believed to have taken hold on wallets such as Slope and Phantom. These are “hot wallets” — that is, wallets that allow for lightning-fast transactions because they are always connected to the internet, as opposed to “cold wallets,” which usually...

(Reuters) -Beyond Meat Inc lowered its forecast for 2022 revenue on Thursday and said it would cut several jobs at a time when demand for its plant-based products is fizzling out in the United States. Analysts have said alternative meat makers should improve their products' taste to attract consumers as a few restaurants including McDonald's Corp have ended U.S. tests of their plant-based menu items without confirming a broader launch. "The company is announcing a reduction-in-force affecting approximately 4% of its global workforce," Beyond Meat said in a statement.

The Left is not like Us Progressives do not want the same things as most Americans. My colleague at the National Association of Scholars, David Acevedo, recently explained that the academic left does not apply “double standards,” because they don’t share the standards they flout. Rather, he writes, their “behavior is perfectly consistent with its true standard: gain power, crush resistance, and destroy the West by any means necessary.”Acevedo is on point for all radical leftists, not just the academic variety. Their policies intentionally destabilize national security, personal safety, prosperity, the nuclear family, and religion, and are designed to cede America’s...

Newly discovered emails prove beyond all doubt that the “true purpose” of Hunter Biden’s lucrative deal with a Ukrainian energy company was for Hunter to get “high-ranking US officials” to visit Ukraine and persuade the nation’s leaders to “close down” all criminal “cases/pursuits against” the firm’s primary owner, a notoriously corrupt oligarch with ties to Russia. Documentation of this illegal scheme begins with a widely overlooked email on Hunter’s laptop in which a top executive of the Ukrainian firm describes the plan. Now, emails uncovered by Just Facts prove that Hunter and his partners: explicitly agreed to this deal. concealed...

Explanation: In 1716, English astronomer Edmond Halley noted, "This is but a little Patch, but it shows itself to the naked Eye, when the Sky is serene and the Moon absent." Of course, M13 is now less modestly recognized as the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules, one of the brightest globular star clusters in the northern sky. Sharp telescopic views like this one reveal the spectacular cluster's hundreds of thousands of stars. At a distance of 25,000 light-years, the cluster stars crowd into a region 150 light-years in diameter. Approaching the cluster core upwards of 100 stars could be contained...
