Naked Florida man hurls urn full of ashes during argument

SEBASTIAN, Fla. (CBS12) — After throwing an urn containing a family member's ashes at someone, a naked man from Sebastian was arrested early Saturday morning.

According to the Sebastian Police Department, 46-year-old Scott Cornwell got into a heated argument with the victim—which escalated when Cornwell threw a glass-style urn at their head.

As officers arrived on scene, they found the victim at a neighbor's house—their face had multiple swollen bloody masses bursting open. The victim was transported to the Sebastian Hospital, where it was later discovered they had a fractured nasal cavity.

I ran into Florida man when I lived there. Actually two of them both high as a kite on something, it wasn’t alcohol or weed. They kept trying to steal things from a convenience store until the owner threw them out.

The owner was from somewhere in the middle east. I told him not all Americans are like that.

I use their/they for a singular person when gender is not known, or gender is not important.

“Where is their dog?” Instead of where is his/her dog?

And I think that is common, but has been perverted.

Their/They is used when the gender is singular and known, and it makes for confusing communication.

But that is the goal it seems.

No laws were violated in this case.
