NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A transgender child and her parents sued the Tennessee Department of Education on Thursday over a law that prohibits transgender students and staff from using school bathrooms or locker rooms that match their gender identities.
The suit was filed in federal court in Nashville by a student identified only as D.H. The complaint states D.H. was assigned male at birth but identifies as female. D.H., who is now 8 years old, began living as a girl at the age of 6, according to the lawsuit.
The school initially agreed to support D.H.’s social transition but by January of this year, the “administration could not provide D.H. with the support she needed to complete her social transition,” according to the complaint. That’s because Tennessee law prevents her from using the girls bathroom at school.
The school accommodates D.H. by letting her use one of four single-occupancy restrooms, which “reinforce the differential treatment” of D.H., according to the lawsuit. This violates her Constitutional rights under the Equal Protection Clause and also violates Title IX, the 1972 federal law that prohibits sex discrimination in education, the lawsuit claims.
The situation was so stressful for D.H. that at one point she stopped using the restroom at school entirely and began limiting her food and water intake to minimize her need for the restroom, according to the lawsuit. The child has developed “developed migraines, reflux, and recurring nightmares of school,” the lawsuit states.
“Years ago, I chose to move to Tennessee because it was known as ‘the volunteer state,’ whose citizens cared for their neighbors without hesitation — not a state that legalizes discrimination against helpless children,” D.H.’s mother, identified as A.H., said in a news release announcing the lawsuit.

Here’s a solution: let the transgender kids use employee restrooms.

The rules of society were never intended to accommodate the freak.
Probably more like the boy’s mother convinced him he wants to use the girl’s shower.
Ask yourself why until the last three years did you never hear about a child wanting into the opposite sex’s bathroom.
Because nobody ever put that thought in their head, that’s why.

They need to move back to Cali or whatever Dem controlled hell hole they came from. we in Tennessee neither want or need these type of adults. I don’t blame the poor kid but the parents are unstable and need to go.

This is double talk to describe a law that protects the safety and norms of normal students who don't want boys in girls restrooms.
The school already made accommodations by letting it/him/her use unisex bathrooms but unless it/him/her is flaunting their wares in front of girls, it just isn't good enough.
No such thing as “transgender.” You are either male or female, anything else is a case of someone with a mental disease. You cannot “pretend” to be anything other than your biological sex, any more than you can pretend to be a pirate on Halloween. Do not cede the language to leftists for when you do, there is no turning back.

PS my wife, in high school, held it till she got home due to the thick smoke (tobacco) in the girl’s restroom.
Any person who believes he or she is something provably false is in need of psychiatric care and should be removed from everyday society. If there is a counter argument to that statement I would like to hear it.
Imagine the kind of political swine who “find” a “transgender 8 year old, pay or dupe the parents to get involved in a lawsuit, for the purpose of social engineering through lawfare, turning gender norms on their head, and perverting children
