The ads, which ran Friday in the Austin-American Statesman, the Houston Chronicle and the El Paso Times, feature a modified quote from Abbott about Senate Bill 8, which bans abortion in Texas after six weeks. The quote from Abbott reads "Our creator endowed us with the right to life. And yet…children lose their right to life every year because of abortion. In Texas, we work to save those lives." CROWELL, Texas - A North Texas wind farm is one turbine down thanks to what officials believe was a devastating lightning strike to one of the massive structures on Friday afternoon. Videos from witnesses and firefighters showed the wind turbine generator ablaze and disintegrate in the sky over Crowell, Texas. Doppler radar indicated there was plenty of lightning strikes around the Foard City wind facility before firefighters received the call about the high-altitude fire. Crews with the Crowell Volunteer Fire Department responded, but Fire Chief Perry Shaw said there was little his firefighters could do to put the fire out....

Wisconsin State Representative Janel Brandtjen, Chairman of the Committee on Campaign and Elections, declared her request for the decertification of the November 2020 presidential election. Senator Brandtjen joined in on Rep. Timothy Ramthun‘s statement to decertify the election following several investigations revealed tens of thousands of suspect ballots. There was massive fraud in the 2020 Wisconsin election. Senator Brandtjen released this statement earlier today. This comes after the Wisconsin Election Commission announced they will ignore a new ruling and allow election clerks to cure and count incomplete mail-in ballots.

Mark Aungst, who was facing up to six months in prison and a $5,000 fine, killed himself on July 20, according to his obituary. Aungst was among the many Jan. 6 demonstrators caught up in a protracted legal process stemming from the chaos of that day. He had pled guilty to a charge of demonstrating or parading in a restricted building and was due to be sentenced in September. The deceased reportedly walked through the Capitol building taking photographs during the incident.
