The 15-year-old boy shot dead at a chaotic Juneteenth concert in Washington, DC, was identified Monday — as police continued to investigate a motive for the shooting that also left three people injured. The teen gunned down in Sunday night’s chaos was identified by cops as Chase Lorenzo Poole. Police found a gun on Poole in the wake of the shooting, but it wasn’t the firearm used to fatally injure him, law-enforcement sources told the Washington Post. After Poole was shot, an eyewitness told WTTG that the teen could be heard “screaming out for his mom” as he lay dying...

For going on 17 long months now, a fake narrative has been furiously pushed on the country by people desperate to deny and to hide the facts about the 2020 Presidential election having been rigged and stolen. This fake cover narrative is that President Donald J. Trump inspired, whipped up and then unleashed an insurrection at the Capitol Building in Washington DC on January 6 in an illegal and treasonous attempt to stop the count of the electoral votes by the United States Congress. Of course, because this is a fake narrative, that’s not really what happened, as anybody who’s...

IPray For The Peace of JerusalemGenesis 24Isaac and Rebekah 24 Abraham was now very old, and the Lord had blessed him in every way. 2 He said to the senior servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had, “Put your hand under my thigh. 3 I want you to swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living, 4 but will go to my country and my own relatives and...

President Trump recently lost an appeal and must testify in a civil investigation by New York State attorney general Letitia James. Her action was taken based on testimony and evidence given by former Trump attorney Michael Cohen. This is the same Michael Cohen who pleaded guilty to eight counts, including criminal tax evasion and campaign finance violations. While we may not be privy to the inner workings of our justice departments in the United States, it seems rather convenient that the government could take evidence from Michael Cohen regarding his claims of the improprieties of President Trump's financial records after...

Texas A&M has failed to report over $100 million in research funds it received from Russia and Qatar according to a report by The Wall Street Journal. The unreported funds were used to pay for research at the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, which focuses on engineering and technology research on cybersecurity, nuclear nonproliferation and artificial intelligence. The report comes after the Department of Education found over $6.5 billion in unreported foreign gifts and grants in a report released in October 2020. “The threat of improper foreign influence in higher education is real,” said then-Education Secretary Betsy DeVos in a...

The outstanding feature of the Democrat Party is how well it mirrors the descent of the culture. Check that -- Democrats don’t just mirror our rotting culture, they’re leading the race off the cliff. That’s what progressivism -- the Democrats’ defining worldview -- does: it daily leads a once godly and moral nation toward a Grand Canyon-sized hole. Sometimes in tiny steps, other times in sprints. Lately, it’s a sprint. Progressivism is a catchall for modern decadence -- rationalized, deemed fashionable, and pimped by elites. Democrats have become updated versions of debauched Roman emperor Caligula and his court. The list...

Inflation is dominating the news as prices hit 40-year highs. While the price of everyday goods, including food and energy, is the most widely cited type of inflation, other forms exist across the broader economic system. In this Markets in a Minute from New York Life Investments, Visual Capitalist’s Dorothy Neufeld charts three types of inflation and the macroeconomic factors that influence each type. 1. Monetary InflationMonetary inflation occurs when the U.S. money supply increases over time. This represents both physical and digital money circulating in the economy including cash, checking accounts, and money market mutual funds. The U.S. central...

If the elite's computer models can't do a decent job on forecasting inflation, how come we should put any faith in your climate models or your accusations of "disinformation?" Wouldn't you know, the august central bankers at the Bank of England just admitted that they "underestimated" inflation, as inflation in the UK heads north of 11 percent. Just like our own august central bankers at the Federal Reserve Board who were telling us that inflation was "transitory" until the day before yesterday. I have a question for you noble rulers. If your computer models can't do a decent job on...

«This war has been lost a long time ago» Before critics denounced him as “the voice of Vladimir Putin,” United States Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor was known for his daring military exploits. During the first Gulf War, his squadron famously demolished nearly seventy Iraqi Republican Guard vehicles in 23 minutes. Now, the West Point graduate is battling the diplomatic establishment over Russia and its war against Ukraine. Urs Gehriger 16.06.2022 Retired United States Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor does not suffer fools. In the West’s efforts to assist the Ukrainians in repelling Russia’s invasion, he sees a motley crew. Once regarded...

The 1973 Roe v Wade ruling that guarantees the federal right to an abortion could be scrapped as early as today as the Supreme Court hands down multiple new opinions. The Court does not announce in advance which decisions will be made public, and instead only says that decisions will be declared. This week, the opinions are being released on Tuesday and Thursday. There are 18 cases that need final rulings before the justices depart for their traditional summer break, which usually happens by the end of June or early July. The case in question that the Supreme Court will...

Rep. Tom Rice’s loss to state Rep. Russell Fry last week marked the first primary defeat among the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach former President Trump, invigorating other Trump-backed challengers as the political futures of four more incumbents who voted to impeach hang in the balance. The marquee race will be Rep. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) versus Trump-endorsed candidate Harriet Hageman, an attorney and former national committeewoman for the Republican National Committee who also has the support of more than 100 House Republicans, including Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.). But before the Cheney-Hageman race on Aug. 16, primaries on...

This part of the New Yorker‘s profile of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is saying the quiet part out loud: For decades, the Democratic Party had commanded a majority of Florida’s registered voters. But the state was changing, as Trump’s election helped energize a shift in political affinities. The Republican Party’s rank and file became increasingly radical, and G.O.P. leaders appeared only too happy to follow them. “There was always an element of the Republican Party that was batshit crazy,” Mac Stipanovich, the chief of staff to Governor Bob Martinez, a moderate Republican, told me. “They had lots of different names—they...

Why Uvalde Cops Were Too Cowardly to Charge a Mass Shooter American police are taught first and foremost to fear for their own lives. BY RYAN COOPER MAY 27, 2022 To the layman, it might seem strange to read an Associated Press story about how, when a mass shooter invaded an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, the local police refused to attack him for about 40 minutes despite the urging of nearby parents. “Go in there! Go in there!” one said. The police instead waited for a tactical unit from the Border Patrol (which reportedly got another student killed by...

Ukraine War Blows Up EU's Superpower Delusion by Soeren Kern June 21, 2022 at 5:00 am As the war has dragged on, European unity has collapsed and efforts to transform the European Union into a European superstate — a United States of Europe — have been exposed for what they are: delusions of grandeur. The EU's largest member states — France and Germany — have sought to appease Putin at the expense of Ukrainian sovereignty. French President Emmanuel Macron, the strongest backer of European strategic autonomy, insists that Putin should not be "humiliated" and has even called on Ukraine to...

The Jan. 6 hearings attracted 20 million live viewers on opening night, 11 million for the next session and nearly 9 million for Thursday's third installment. Those yardsticks don't begin to measure the true reach of what is said there. Memorable moments are sliced for quick consumption on countless news programs, comedy shows and online. It's the first congressional hearing in memory that seems specifically designed with modern media needs, said Jeff Jarvis, City University of New York journalism professor. There are already breakout moments. GIULIANI AND ALCOHOL Liz Cheney says Rudy Giuliani had too much to drink before advising...
