Heart to Heart Dear Father John, colleagues, political, social leaders, faculty, staff, parents, family, students, and dearest graduates. How are you doing today? Make some noise! I’m incredibly moved by your hospitality and your singular solidarity. I want to tell you, millions of Ukrainians will see you waving these flags today. They will be heartened by your prayer, your love and your commitment to truth. My hat is off to you dear graduates. As a boy, (and here I’ll date myself) watching Ara Parseghian’s championship football teams and mimicking Adrian Dantley’s moves on the basketball court, I dreamt of appearing...

“‘Pray, then, in this way: “Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]” For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not...

WILLIAMSPORT – A former Donald Trump supporter has accused the former president of throwing Republican gubernatorial candidate Lou Barletta “under the bus.” Former U.S. Rep. Thomas A. Marino, who was Trump’s pick for drug czar, went further saying at this time he is not supporting anyone who has the former president’s endorsement. Marino, who also served as U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, made some of his comments about Trump at a Barletta event in Williamsport on Saturday then amplified them Sunday. He had not planned to get involved in Tuesday’s primary election until Trump endorsed state Sen....

Finish President Sauli Niinisto claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s responded "calmly" when told that Finland would apply for NATO membership. "Altogether the discussion was very good," Niinisto said on "State of the Union" on Sunday. "And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Revelation, Chapter 18 1 And after these things I saw...

Right now as I write this there are significant elements of the Ukrainian forces located within 40km of the strategic Soviet city of Belgorod. This city is a critical transshipment and distribution hub for all manner of logistical support for the Soviet Army that is currently trying to steal more land from Ukraine. The foolish Soviets have left this city all but undefended as they've moved their forces to concentrate on preventing the encirclement and capture of 20,000+ orc forces at Izyum, Ukraine. The Ukrainians don't have to even seize the city. They may not even need to cross into...

It’s just the flu, bro. Worst Covid news lately in my life is that my office ban for being unvaccinated will soon be lifted. Soon I will need to go into the office again instead of working from home. So what I am saying is that lately Covid restrictions and mandates have actually significantly improved my quality of life. But this may have lulled me into ignoring the story of the proposed WHO Pandemic Treaty. Most countries will likely adopt this treaty which will, of course, create a global biosecurity state to eliminate national sovereignty. I have not been able...

Please Follow us on Gab, Minds, Telegram, Rumble, Gab TV, GETTR If an election were held in Ukraine today, Victor Medvechuk would stomp Volodymyr Zelensky by a larger margin than the 70%+ Zelensky beat Poroshenko by.Until Victor Medvechuk became a political rival, he and Zelensky were friends. Medvechuk gave Zelensky’s career in show business a start early on.His great crime is believing Ukraine should remain neutral and concentrate on its own development. For this, Zelensky offered Russia a prisoner exchange or Medvechuk. This is unparalleled in history. A president of a country offering his political rival to a foreign country...

It’s no secret that the Democrats are in trouble with Latino voters in the run-up to the midterm elections. Polling from last month showed that the president’s approval ratings are at their lowest among Hispanic voters. The Democrats’ border crisis, their leftward shift on cultural issues, and the economy have all prompted Latino voters to break toward the GOP. The Democrats are aware of their issues with Latinos, and they’ve launched a new strategy to reach them. There’s one problem: the slogan. This new initiative to reach out to Spanish-speaking voters uses the slogan “Adelante,” which means “onward” or “forward.”...

America’s baby-formula shortage has gone from curious inconvenience to full-blown national crisis. In many states, including Texas and Tennessee, more than half of formula is sold out in stores. Nationwide, 40 percent of formula is out of stock—a twentyfold increase since the first half of 2021. As parents have started to stockpile formula, retailers such as Walgreens, CVS, and Target have all moved to limit purchases. The everything shortage isn’t new. But rationing essentials for desperate parents? That’s a twisted turn in the story of American scarcity. Three factors are driving the U.S. baby-formula shortage: bacteria, a virus, and a...

Fifth Sunday of Easter John 13:31-33a, 34-35 Friends, today’s Gospel instructs us in the way of loving others with God’s love. We find joy in God alone, for our souls have been wired for God. But here’s the trick, and the whole of the Christian life is on display here: God is love. . . . Love is God. God is self-emptying on behalf of the other. But this means, paradoxically, that to have God is to be what God is—and that means giving one’s life away. Now we see the link between joy and commandments: "I give you a...

Many people have been at a loss as to why freedom-loving Americans, especially conservatives, are not fully on board with Ukraine. Can’t they see this for what it obviously is? – a clear-cut case of an aggressor, invading a sovereign country, without provocation? – a pure and simple case of good versus evil?Well,…After six years of nonstop hoaxes and hysteria; After six years of being cynically subjected to the politics of panic-porn, where everything is a potentially world-ending catastrophe, and one “unprecedented crisis” after another is breathlessly rolled out to keep people terrified and on edge; After two years of censorship, deception,...

The U.N. wants manufacturers of ammo to number their bullets. Then, the U.N. wants to track where and to whom every bullet in the world is sold or sent. (Photo: Jason Connolly/AFP/ Getty Images) More than two decades ago, the United Nations created a program to curb the trafficking of small arms. It’s done nothing but fire blanks. So now, the U.N. wants to control bullets. In 2001, the United Nations started the Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat, and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects. Its next meeting will be held...
