SEATTLE - While many parents are feeling anxious as the nationwide baby formula shortage continues, some mothers are stepping up to donate their breast milk. "With my first, I struggled with not having a proper supply," said Isabelle Praget, a West Seattle mom. Knowing the stresses that new moms experience, Praget decided to help ease what they're going through now with the nationwide shortage. When FOX 13 talked to her Monday, Praget had already made at least three trips to drop off donated breast milk at Nurturing Expressions in West Seattle.

PARIS -- With Joe Biden's seemingly tenuous grasp on the cockpit controls, we're currently witnessing the result of U.S. foreign policy governance piloted by establishment civil servants. Is anyone really surprised that we're caught in a death spiral? Sometimes pejoratively referred to as the "deep state", the U.S. foreign policy establishment tends toward interventionism, with few who rise to senior positions favoring a hands-off approach to the rest of the world. It's precisely that attitude -- that the U.S. has to constantly intervene militarily everywhere -- that contributed to the election of former President Donald Trump. The former Oval Office...

Imagine a computer that can think as fast as the human brain while using very little energy. That's the goal of scientists seeking to discover or develop materials that can send and process signals as easily as the brain's neurons and synapses. Identifying quantum materials with an intrinsic ability to switch between two distinct forms (or more) may hold the key to these futuristic sounding "neuromorphic" computing technologies. Yimei Zhu, a physicist at the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Brookhaven National Laboratory, and his collaborators describe surprising new details about vanadium dioxide, one of the most promising neuromorphic materials. Using...

Back in March of this year, Anthony Fauci backtracked on his own hints that he would retire soon, asserting that the COVID pandemic is not yet over.A day after he said ‘I can’t stay in this job forever,’ Fauci seemed determined to stick around when asked on ABC’s This Week if he was thinking of leaving.(snip)At a town hall, Vance said term limits should be imposed on public servants and referenced the long-time advisor.“We need term limits not just for the legislators but for bureaucrats because ladies and gentlemen, all this talk about experts losing their expert status but there...

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the No. 2 Democrat in the Senate, on Tuesday called the protests outside of Supreme Court justices’ homes “reprehensible” in an interview. “I think it’s reprehensible. Stay away from homes and families of elected officials and members of the court,” the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman told CNN when he was asked about his thoughts on the protests.

Fentanyl Is Killing Our Young PeopleThe statistics are shocking, even devastating. In 1968, in the thick of the counterculture revolution and the heyday of “sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll,” there were 5,033 recorded deaths by drug overdose in America, amounting to 2.5 deaths per 100,000 people. In 2019, there were 70,630 recorded deaths by drug overdose, amounting to 21.6 deaths per 100,000 people. And according to the Families Against Fentanyl website, fentanyl deaths have almost doubled since 2019, now accounting for more than 100,000 U.S. deaths per year. But what makes these figures all the more devastating, even agonizing, is that these...

@marklevinshow 1. For the Putin a*s-kissers out there who say why don’t we focus on the baby formula crisis rather than Ukraine, the baby formula problem pre-dates the Russian invasion of Ukraine. And it’s not about federal funding but government incompetence. Damn fools. 2. Some are confusing America First with a pro-Putin propaganda operation and Bernie Sanders hate-America foreign policy doctrine.

After March’s surge in consumer prices, analysts’ consensus is that CPI has peaked and April was expected to show a big slowing from +8.5% YoY to +8.1% YoY, however, CPI printed hotter than expected at +8.3% YoY… Source: BloombergBear in mind that headline CPI is still at its second highest since 1982. Core CPI was expected to rise 6.0% YoY in April (down from +6.5% YoY in March) but rose a hotter than expected 6.2% YoY Along with indexes for shelter, airline fares, and new vehicles, the indexes for medical care, recreation, and household furnishings and operations all increased in...

April’s inflation numbers are out and, at first glance, inflation seems to be cooling from 8.5% YoY in March to 8.3% YoY. But the headline inflation numbers do not accurately reflect the pain and suffering of American households. Food is up 9.4% YoY and gasoline is up 43.6% YoY. The strange way the BLS measure “shelter” shows that housing only grew at 5.1% YoY. That’s odd since home price growth is almost 20% YoY and rent growth is near 20%. Runaway home prices and rents are especially painful given that inflation is destroying the purchasing power of the dollar for...

The proposed plant would operate like Poseidon Water’s site in Carlsbad, where ocean water is put through a process that includes using thousands of pressure vessels and reverse osmosis to remove the salt. Poseidon officials say that from the time the water comes in from the ocean, it takes just about two hours to get it to the point where people can drink it. In California, where water sources are shrinking, proponents of the project say the plant will provide a great drought-proof source of water. In Huntington Beach, about 107 million gallons of seawater a day would be used...

This column is co-written by John Hantz. In a September 1, 1935 article entitled Notes on the Next War published in Esquire magazine, American literary icon, Ernest Hemmingway, wrote: “The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists.” Considered a socialist politically, the above quote shows promise – leads us wishing Hemmingway’s writings explored economics in greater depth and/or he had lived long enough for us to have invited him to dinner. Renowned economist...

it will be Alaska’s first ever statewide mail-in primary election. That is, there will be no in-person voting at all. Every single voter on the state’s bloated and error-riddled voter rolls was automatically mailed a blank ballot. What’s more, there will be no verification requirements for these mail-in ballots. Voters will simply need to fill out their ballot and have a witness observe them sign the envelope. The state’s Division of Election has explicitly said it will not verify the authenticity of the signatures on the ballots.

NEW YORK - The NYPD is hunting for a man on a motorcycle accused of ripping necklaces off of women across New York City. According to authorities, on May 2, a 22-year-old woman was walking at the corner of Grand Concourse and East 150 Street in the Bronx when the suspect, riding a red and black motorcycle, snuck up on her from behind before grabbing her gold necklace valued at $800 and escaping.

Green Beret Peter Chambers has been giving vaccine-injury cases directly to Sen. Ron Johnson to aid Wisconsin Republican's efforts against military vaccine mandate. Agroup of military doctors alarmed by reported spikes in service members' miscarriages, myocarditis, cancer and other serious issues in the first year of COVID-19 vaccine availability no longer trust the military's medical database, one of them told Just the News. Lt. Col. Peter Chambers said he was now giving potential vaccine-injury cases, from his own practice and that of colleagues, directly to Sen. Ron Johnson for the Wisconsin Republican's ongoing pressure on the Department of Defense (DOD)...

The Bible In Paintings 2 ENCOURAGEMENT FOR APPRECIATING AND APPLYING GOD'S MESSAGE 1st SAMUEL CHAPTER 16 The LORD said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king. You are to anoint for me the one I indicate.” Samuel did what the LORD said. He consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice. When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab...
