SEATTLE - While many parents are feeling anxious as the nationwide baby formula shortage continues, some mothers are stepping up to donate their breast milk.
"With my first, I struggled with not having a proper supply," said Isabelle Praget, a West Seattle mom.
Knowing the stresses that new moms experience, Praget decided to help ease what they're going through now with the nationwide shortage. When FOX 13 talked to her Monday, Praget had already made at least three trips to drop off donated breast milk at Nurturing Expressions in West Seattle.

I wonder how that would work if they are working. Some can’t pump or even breast milk. My sister didn’t make enough at all. All four kids had to have formula.
Some women could bring their babies to work... some could go home for one ‘lunchtime’ feeding and have babies given juice and other doctor approved substitutes... then nurse in the evening and morning.
Nursing mothers can also give hints and assistance to mother’s struggling with nursing. There’s wouldn’t be a human race without mother’s being able to figure this one out...

I was born in 1960 and I’m pretty sure my Mother didn’t use store bought baby formula, she made it herself.
But now we hear mothers can’t do that now because of lactose intolerance or some other intolerance and their babies require some type of specialized formula.
Petee bootyjudge needs to step up. Or is it chaz’s week to chest feed.

I don’t understand why these bizarre allergies and intolerances are happening now. Nobody in school can eat peanut butter because a few are allergic. (Without peanut butter, we wouldn’t have survived lunch hour at school.) Is “lactose intolerance” a true thing, or just a boutique situation for mothers with Munchhausen By Proxy? Why are kids so fragile?
