Strandbeest Evolution 2021 provides an update on the evolutionary development. Every spring I go to the beach with a new beast. During the summer I do all kinds of experiments with the wind, sand and water. In the fall I grew a bit wiser about how these beasts can survive the circumstances on the beach. At that point I declare them extinct and they go to the bone yard.

The first sign of trouble was Chechen soldiers bursting through the gate. Jumping from Jeeps, combat boots hitting pavement hard, they ordered 500 patients and staff from Borodianka’s special care home into the courtyard, at gunpoint. “We thought we were going to be executed,” Maryna Hanitska, said home director. The Chechen's pulling out a camera, yelled at her to make everyone smile. Most were crying. “We command you to say to the camera, ‘Thank you, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin,’’’ the soldiers demanded. With several guns in her face, she thought of options. She would never thank Russia’s president, she called “a...

“ Frolov 'sacrificed his life so that children, women and the elderly in Donbas would not hear bombs exploding again”, the St Petersburg governor said as his friend was laid to rest. The general was from a military family and 'died the death of the brave in battle against Ukrainian nationalists', Alexander Beglov added. He was 'a true patriot, a brave and courageous man' who 'honestly and to the end fulfilled his military and human duty. 'People will not forget their heroes. Eternal memory to him.' Moscow may be co-ordinating pro-Russian demonstrations across Europe to amplify pockets of support for its war in Ukraine, it has been reported. In recent weeks cities including Berlin, Dublin, Hanover, Frankfurt and Athens have seen people take to the streets with Russian flags and vehicles emblazoned with the pro-war Z symbol that has become synonymous with the Kremlin's forces in Ukraine. Many of the marches have taken place at the same time, despite being hundreds of miles away from each other, prompting Russian experts to suggest they might be being coordinated by Moscow, according to The Times. The experts told...

Explanation: Taken with a camera fixed to a tripod, many short exposures were aligned with the stars to unveil this beautiful, dark night sky. Captured near the rural village of Albany`a at the northeastern corner of Spain, the three stars of Orion's belt stretch across top center in the starry frame. Alnitak, the easternmost (left) of the belt stars is seen next to the more diffuse glow of the Flame Nebula and the dark notch of the famous Horsehead. Easily visible to the naked-eye The Great Nebula of Orion is below the belt stars. A mere 1,500 light-years distant, it...

Although Hidalgo is called a “judge,” her position functions primarily as the county’s chief executive, and she oversees a sizable budget. “The Power of the Easter Promise” (Luke 24:1-12) Alleluia! Christ is risen! (He is risen indeed! Alleluia!) This morning I want to tell you about the power of a promise. Our reading from Luke 24 puts on display the power of a promise. It’s a promise that was good, because of the one who made it. It’s a promise that was good, even though people forgot that the promise had been made; and even though when some people did think about it, they just knew that the promise wasn’t any good after all. It’s about what happened at the tomb...

As I’ve documented on a number of occasions, the left ruins everything it touches. There is no exception. From universities to high schools and now including even elementary schools, to late-night TV, to sports, to the arts and, increasingly, science, the left is a destruction machine. And nowhere is this damage more evident or tragic than with regard to women. In fact, nothing demonstrates the power of left-wing ideology as much as what this ideology has done to women. So powerful is leftist ideology, it is more powerful than women’s nature. Here are five examples: 1) Desire to Bond With...

Jordan Hatmaker was skydiving in November when the worst thing that could happen happened: Her parachute didn’t open. The plane was more than 13,000 feet above the ground when she jumped, and she hit the ground at about 80 miles per hour. Hatmaker’s reserve parachute did actually deploy, but it made her main parachute pop out at the same time. “They pulled away from each other in the air and then dragged me down in kind of a spiral motion,” she explained. Once she realized she was going down, Hatmaker had one minute before she hit the ground. Hatmaker believes...

Given the daily indoctrination by the Palestinian leadership, its pay for slay program as well as the original Charters of all the major Palestinian groups, which reveal their goal to obliterate Israel, only the cowardly or deluded could possibly believe that this goal will miraculously vanish in the face of appeasement. It’s only a matter of time before Hamas and other jihad groups funded by the Islamic Republic of Iran regroup and again launch rockets at Israel, only to be met with Israel’s defensive maneuvers, and then as usual, the propaganda and hate against Israel and Jews will again escalate....

“‘Whoever says, “You fool,” shall be guilty enough to go into fiery hell’” (Matthew 5:22). No one wants to be called a fool, and on the other side of the coin, no one should fix that label on someone else. That’s especially true when we realize that the word in this verse translated “fool” is from the Greek word from which we get moron. The word also denotes one who is stupid or dull. Greek literature sometimes used it to refer to a godless or obstinate person. And it was perhaps parallel to a Hebrew word that means “to rebel...

I believe that prayer mixed with faith is the answer to everything. Paul said, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6, NKJV). “In everything” means “Pray about everything, and give thanks that your requests will be heard and answered.” We are told to pray as our first option, not after we have tried everything else in vain. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). So many Christians today are being...

The media is trying to start a rivalry between President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – two extremely popular conservatives. Pollster Richard Baris dumped cold water on an idea of a rivalry between the two. Baris said of DeSantis “he will not run if Donald Trump runs.” The reason Baris cited was that DeSantis believes the election was stolen from President Trump. Watch (transcript below):

MADISON, Wis. — When he was a little boy roaming the forests and marshes of Illinois, Rick Lindroth adored catching frogs and climbing trees. His dream came true when he became a full-time scientist, paid to make observations in nature. Even when he’s not on officially the job, with binoculars dangling from his neck, he will effortlessly spot a bald eagle’s nest from his fly-fishing stream in Big Spring valley. The University of Wisconsin-Madison ecologist also belongs to an evangelical church and has struggled with deep despair over climate change. He has had a front-row seat observing the effects of...

For years now The Gateway Pundit has reported on the attempted coup against President Trump and his administration. We now know that this coup was real and involved several intelligence officials as well as the Hillary Clinton Campaign, Barack Obama, Joe Biden with the undying support from the fake news mainstream media. Now they are caught. Any other human being would have folded under the pressure. Not President Donald Trump. He was harassed, attacked and smeared his entire presidency by thousands of Democrats and the far left media complex. But he never folded. He excelled with record economic numbers, historic...
