“ Frolov 'sacrificed his life so that children, women and the elderly in Donbas would not hear bombs exploding again”, the St Petersburg governor said as his friend was laid to rest.

The general was from a military family and 'died the death of the brave in battle against Ukrainian nationalists', Alexander Beglov added.

He was 'a true patriot, a brave and courageous man' who 'honestly and to the end fulfilled his military and human duty.

'People will not forget their heroes. Eternal memory to him.'

Russia also lost its 34th colonel of the war, tank battalion commander Miras Bashakov, according to reports today.

And he’d be alive today if his fearless leader had not launched an invasion against a smaller and weaker nation that posed no threat.

I wonder if Putin is crawling around the floor chewing on a rug; his two day conquest isn’t going so well.

Botched? Hardly. The Russians have located and removed vast amounts of proof regarding the US involvement in using Ukraine as a money laundering country and production of bio weapons labs, not to mention the Syrianification of the country, razing major cities and displacing millions of population rendering the Ukraine growthless.

Who are the war criminals who are doing that?

Russia loses its EIGHTH general and 34th colonel...

...latest hammer blow to Putin's botched invasion...

Yikes, Putin must be down to conscripts running the show!

I was wondering how an article could tell in the headline that it was full of crap, by saying Russia was losing AND say that the media outlet is completely biased towards the Cabal in Ukraine.

I think you touched on every Putin/Tass talking point. Do you get extra Poitiers-Points for doing that?

Fortunately, our policy is to have generals only go as far forward as the press’ power supply and satellite feed reach.

” that posed no threat.”

We can’t say it posed no threat. If you’re a dictator and there’s a “slightly” less corrupt freer economy next door, then not only will people draw comparisons, you absolutely MUST have all the leaders of the nearby countries beholden to you in one way or another. Failure to achieve this sort of “family” opens you to a huge variety of economic, social and political challenges. Putin believed that Zalenski was beholden to the West and not him. He saw this as a direct threat. (Also, there was a huge discovery on Ukranian soil of oil and gas that would have posed a challenge to Russia’s dominance and therefore it had to be under his ownership.)

Also, Putin is 70, making him past the average age of death so he’s thinking about his legacy. He wants to be remembered like Ivan the Terrible or Peter the Great and right now he’s just the richest man in Europe. (Was. I thin, a lot of the wealth has been seized.)

At this point you could just substitute the word Trump for Putin in all these articles. Its all Putin’s fault. Its getting beyond ridiculous. 😄

Based on your criteria, every country on earth is a threat to every other country on earth. I guess, in a theoretical sense, where odds are ignored, that is true.

the russians DID INVADE a sovereign separate nation.

they were met with the same fury that General Stonewall Jackson poured out upon ‘the federal invaders of his beloved Virginia”.

And all of this to manifest a dream of a “re-united” pseudo-soviet empire, a dream of the former Berlin KGB office head.

What’s silly is how the cadre of Putin Pumpers gather like roaches every time an article is posted. The spew the same smelly, rotten, decay and do it in such an indignant way that they believe they come across as reasonable, superior and smarter than everyone else. And then they point to Tass as an objective source of news.

If you guys merely stuck with, “It’s all propaganda and probably not accurate” you would get more converts. As it is, you are driving people away from this site in droves.

You and your ilk will cause the demise of this site. Just watch, this quarter’s fund raising drive will fail.

People are sick of the idiotic, brainwashed, Russian fecal matter being spread by you and your buddies. I don’t wish you ill. I just wish you would crawl under the skirt of your skanky Russian mother’s and leave the rest of the world alone.

My second wish is a fiery death to every Russian soldier in Ukraine. And I hope it’s a slow fire.

At least their generals and colonels are out there on the front lines.

Our generals and colonel never wander far from safe headquarters an squadron briefing rooms.
