Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday said the Russian military has sustained “unprecedented losses” and that some Russian units have been "80 to 90% destroyed." "Ukrainians have proven they can fight more professionally than an army that has been waging wars for decades in various regions and conditions. When Colin Craig-Brown received a long-awaited email from Guinness World Records last week, his heart sank. For the past seven months, the New Zealand man and his wife believed that they had discovered the world’s largest potato, weighing more than 17 pounds. The email, however, informed them that their purported potato — which they named Dug — was actually no spud. “Sadly the specimen is not a potato and is, in fact, the tuber of a type of gourd,” the email from a Guinness World Records spokesperson read. “For this reason we do unfortunately have to disqualify the application.”

Senior figures at the NHS trust have expressed fears 'the list had grown substantially during the lockdown' and admitted it was a huge 'preoccupation' for the Board of Trustees. Last night, Stephanie Davies-Arai founder of campaign group...

Pope Francis on Saturday introduced a landmark change allowing any baptized lay Catholic, male or female, to head most departments as part of a new constitution for the Vatican's central administration. For centuries, the departments have been headed by male clerics, usually cardinals or bishops. The new, 54-page constitution, called Praedicate Evangelium (Preach the Gospel), took more than nine years to complete. It was released on the ninth anniversary of Francis' installation as pope in 2013 and will take effect on June 5, replacing one issued in 1988 by Pope John Paul II. Its preamble states: "The pope, bishops and...

Now the security sources believe the guided missiles – around 30 in total – were fired at the base containing 600 foreign volunteers after phones used by the Britons were compromised by the Russians.

I sense a disturbance in the force. In fact, I’ve been feeling the tremors for a while. Back in January, I wrote a column for American Greatness called “The Coming Dethronement of Joe Biden.” In it, I noted that Biden’s appalling performance as president would sooner or later—and probably sooner, given the ostentatious nature of his multifaceted failure—lead to his removal as president. I should have added that it wasn’t Biden’s performance per se that would lead to his downfall. The problem, rather, was the way his performance was undermining his—and therefore his minders’ and puppetmasters’—political power. As Saul Alinsky,...

When the New York Post brought to light Hunter Biden’s laptop in October 2020 just before the presidential election, 51 top intelligence experts all discredited the story that has now been verified by The New York Times and they steadfastly refuse to apologize for it. These are current and former spies and high-ranking military officials who are supposed to ensure the safety of the United States. Instead, they ostensibly provided cover for President Joe Biden to get elected, claiming the laptop story “has the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation” in what many consider a Deep State operation designed...
