A small but impassioned group of Twitter users are urging Elon Musk to deactivate all Teslas in Russia. The calls come in the wake of the country's continuing attack on Ukraine, which began on February 24. In a series of tweets to the tech mogul, several users asked Musk to "turn off every single Tesla in Russia." One said: "Please turn off and deactivate all Tesla's in Russia. It's absolutely disgusting what Russia is doing and Putin has to be stopped." Another requested the deactivation as a sort of "tech embargo" on Russia. Musk, however, is yet to respond to...

For years, surgery for patients with stage III melanoma—melanoma that has spread to the lymph nodes—involved removing those lymph nodes along with the primary tumor. Known as completion lymph node dissection (CLND), the surgery was meant to ensure that no cancer remained after surgery. More recently, however, cancer surgeons have discovered that CLND has the potential to cause more problems than it solves. In most cases, patients do better on immunotherapy alone than they do when their surgery involves removal of the lymph nodes, due to potential complications from lymph node surgery. Torphy, working with McCarter and the other researchers,...

The Maryland legislative session is in full swing, and once again, abortion advocates are pushing their radical abortion agenda. Recently, we told you about the testimony we presented against Maryland House Bill 1171, which is attempting to codify Roe v. Wade in the Maryland constitution. Now, we’re preparing to submit testimony on Maryland Senate Bill 669 – also known as the Pregnant Person’s Freedom Act of 2022. At first glance, this bill looks like it simply changes the word “woman” to “pregnant person,” and then prevents a “pregnant person” from being investigated or penalized for “terminating or attempting to terminate”...

(Live Action) – On Sunday, February 27, pro-abortion protesters disrupted Mass at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in San Francisco. Although major pro-abortion organizations, including the Women’s March Foundation, have recently begun to discourage the use of “handmaid” imagery, all six women who entered the church on Sunday were wearing the characteristic red-cloaked costumes over t-shirts proclaiming “Forced motherhood is enslavement.” They carried signs featuring various messages, including “Break all the chains.” They claimed the purpose of their action was “to indict the Catholic Church’s role in the push to ban abortion & enslave women.” Representatives from...

The self-imposed embargo of Russian oil is spreading to Kazakhstan crude, with three shipments canceled in the past 24 hours. The Wonder Vega, Free Spirit and Stealth Haralambos, all Marshall Islands-flagged vessels, were Black Sea-bound for the Port of Novorossiysk. S&P Global informed clients of the three canceled loadings, citing the war risk premium associated with the grade of oil. These latest cancellations led the Chevron-led consortium at Tengiz — Kazakhstan’s highest-producing oil field — to issue a statement that it was “monitoring developments.” Production is continuing, according to the consortium. ... “CPC Pipeline (Caspian Pipeline Consortium led by Chevron),...

From the outset, the Democratic talking point about the 2020 presidential election has been that there is “no evidence” of widespread fraud, and that election fraud is in any event extremely rare. At the same time, Democrats have done everything in their power to obstruct and undermine any attempts to investigate whether fraud occurred, and if so how extensive it may have been. This is the kind of contradiction that strongly piques my curiosity. As a prelude, let me say that I think that efforts to overturn the 2020 election are a waste of time, and that former President Trump only...

While Western media deploys Volodymyr Zelensky’s Jewish heritage to refute accusations of Nazi influence in Ukraine, the president has ceded to neo-Nazi forces and now depends on them as front line fighters. Back in October 2019, as the war in eastern Ukraine dragged on, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to Zolote, a town situated firmly in the “gray zone” of Donbas, where over 14,000 had been killed, mostly on the pro-Russian side. There, the president encountered the hardened veterans of extreme right paramilitary units keeping up the fight against separatists just a few miles away. Elected on a platform of...
