Gray wolves will regain federal protection across most of the lower 48 United States following a court ruling Thursday that struck down a Trump Administration decision to take the animals off the endangered species list. Senior District Judge Jeffrey S. White, of United States District Court for the Northern District of California, found that the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, in declaring wolf conservation a success and removing the species from federal protection, did not adequately consider threats to wolves outside of the Great Lakes and Northern Rocky Mountains where they have rebounded most significantly. Although the decision to...

First on Fox: Lawyers for the Clinton campaign paid a technology company to "infiltrate" servers belonging to Trump Tower, and later the White House, in order to establish an "inference" and "narrative" to bring to government agencies linking Donald Trump to Russia, a filing from Special Counsel John Durham says. Durham filed a motion on Feb. 11 focused on potential conflicts of interest related to the representation of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman, who has been charged with making a false statement to a federal agent. Sussman has pleaded not guilty.

Thank you Peggy https://t.co/eiy4gKyeYs— Jeb Bush (@JebBush) February 12, 2022 wsj Republicans, Stand Against Excess Be the party of the big center—of normal, regular people—against the forces of ideology assailing them. By Peggy Noonan Feb. 10, 2022 6:35 pm ET "A great party can’t be a cult. Cults are by definition marginal, not of the majority. Donald Trump brought new voters in, it’s true, and the party would do well to hold them by taking good stands. But don’t forget the votes he lost. He never came close in two tries to winning the popular vote, he lost once-Republican suburbs,...

WASHINGTON (AP) — With elections in view and Democrats’ headline domestic bill in a rut, Sens. Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer have very different takes on how things are going in their chamber. “I know we’re spending the week dealing with assistant secretaries of something or other, and that’s terribly important,” Sanders, the progressive firebrand and Vermont independent, said dryly on Wednesday. The Senate confirmed 15 nominees last week for the Federal Maritime Commission, judgeships and other posts. For some Democrats, it’s time to draw contrasts with Republicans by forcing votes on priorities like helping families afford health care and...

The Republican Party needs a concerted effort to combat the “tragic” influence left-wing billionaire George Soros has had on crime and quality of life in the Big Apple and other major cities, GOP insiders told The Post. “We need a Republican George Soros,” demanded conservative commentator and Manhattan Republican Jackie Toboroff, a former City Council candidate from Soho, calling the progressive activist “a ghoul haunting our legal institutions, bringing chaos to our southern border and anarchy to our streets.” The perfect counter to Soros should have more than just deep pockets, said Toboroff. They’ll also need conservative street cred, social...

Cam Newton has a matter-of-fact reason for why he would never slide into Brittany Renner’s direct messages. Renner, a famous Instagram model, recorded an interview with the charismatic Panthers quarterback. In a now-viral teaser clip, Newton says he wouldn’t have sex with Renner because he doesn’t want his dirty laundry aired out. “I’m Cam Newton, right?,” he said. “And I ain’t gonna lie. I’m not about to hit no DMs with no Brittany talking about ‘hey yo, what’s good? What’s popping? You in Atlanta? I see you in Atlanta. Boom. Slide through.’

In a beautifully chaotic scene in Arizona on Saturday, Ryder stepped up to the frenzied 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale — unique because of the three levels of grandstands that surround it, allowing around 20,000 rowdy fans to get a glimpse — and aced it, setting off pandemonium. On the 124-yard par-3 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Ryder stuck the shot a few feet right of the pin and spun it left, good for a hole-in-one that resulted in plenty of hugs and plenty more lost cups and cans. CBS footage shows shaking grandstands, partying people, all sorts of...

A New Jersey auto dealer is selling a new Ford Bronco for a staggering 43 percent above the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, as inflation reaches historic levels and auto inventory shortages wreak havoc on consumer wallets. “We are going to be like Cuba soon,” said one customer at All American Ford in Old Bridge, NJ. “No new cars and we’ll all be driving ’57 Chevys.” A New York City man expressed his truckin’ outrage on social media this week after he found a 2021 Ford Bronco at the Old Bridge dealer with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $34,855 being...

This week Dr. Stacy Transancos of Children of God for Life sent shock waves through the pro-life community with her National Catholic Register article on the horrifying experiments at the University of Pittsburgh involving human fetal scalps being grafted onto mice. As documented by Judicial Watch and the Center for Medical Progress, the University of Pittsburgh has been building up a federally-funded "Tissue Hub” for human fetal tissue obtained from aborted babies from 6 to 42 weeks gestation. The Center for Medical Progress has also focused on the experiments involving fetal organs at the University of Pittsburgh. (This study does...

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) announced on Saturday that he would be endorsing Missouri Senate candidate Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.) to succeed Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), who is retiring after his current term. “For almost a year I’ve been asked who I intend to vote for in #MOSEN primary this August. Well, I’ve made up my mind. I’ll be supporting @VickyHartzlerMO. Vicky has the integrity, the heart, and the toughness to represent MO. I can’t wait to work with her,” Hawley tweeted. Hartzler thanked Hawley for his endorsement in her own post on Twitter.

Abstract “A major limitation of current humanized mouse models is that they primarily enable the analysis of human-specific pathogens that infect hematopoietic cells. However, most human pathogens target other cell types, including epithelial, endothelial and mesenchymal cells. Here, we show that implantation of human lung tissue, which contains up to 40 cell types, including nonhematopoietic cells, into immunodeficient mice (lung-only mice) resulted in the development of a highly vascularized lung implant. We demonstrate that emerging and clinically relevant human pathogens such as Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus, Zika virus, respiratory syncytial virus and cytomegalovirus replicate in vivo in these lung...

On Feb. 8, gold medalist Eileen Gu posted on Instagram to announce her win at the Beijing Winter Olympics. As social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are banned in China, many Chinese have questioned why she, but not the general public, could use Instagram in mainland China. “Anyone can download a VPN its literally free on the App store,” Gu replied, according to a screenshot of her now-deleted post. Gu, who was born in San Francisco and raised by a single mother, has made headlines for her decision to compete for the People’s Republic of China (PRC) despite...

My most looked-forward-to appetizer at any casual party is pigs in a blanket. I expect to see them at least three times a year—Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and whatever Super Bowl party I attend. If they’re missing, I’ll have something to say about it. These petite bites blend sweet, buttery, wrapped-in-a-pressurized-cardboard-canister dough and a salty, smokey cocktail weenie in one dip-able morsel. Also, you can roll up about 40 of them for under $10, making them perfect for guests and hosts alike. It’s hard to improve on something flawless, so instead, I’d like to offer you a few new...

Consumer psychology radically changed during the early days of the virus pandemic as shortages at supermarkets emerged. Bulk-buying habits were never a thing with the modern consumer in a pre-COVID world, but now ‘prepping’ has gone mainstream two years since the beginning of the virus pandemic as supply chains remain snarled and food inflation is out-of-control. Many have discovered: be prepared or be hungry. The pandemic was an eye-opener for tens of millions of consumers who learned the government and big corporations wouldn’t take care of them when things go south. Even our elected officials were nowhere to be found...
